Facility manager seems to be aloof/part timer not responding to emails or phone calls in a timely manner. MIL taken to hospital and no one notified next of kin (ME). The 'Nurse practitioner' used in place of a regular DR (far cheaper I presume) with experience in senior care, is arrogant and condescending. Sloppy....... why rate this place when a loved one has passed on? Rate it now, maybe they will correct these issues, though not holding my breath.........

Tom and the team at Arbor Landing are amazing and take such wonderful care of our mom. They are always available for questions, the home is beautiful and always so clean. Each of the staff goes out of their way to take personal care of the residents. If you have a family member that needs to transition from taking care of themselves to needing assistance this is a fantastic option! She loves it!

My father has been a resident at Arbor Landing for 6 months. He arrived there in a wheel chair after having a bad fall where he was hospitalized for a month. He is now walking with a cane (although he will tell you he doesn’t need one). I owe a sincere thanks to Tom Basil (New Director), his entire staff as well as all the healthcare partners that are onsite all the time to keep everyone healthy and active. My Dad will tell you the Activity Director, Kelly, is one of the most important staff members at Arbor Landing. She not only shows up everyday, but she keeps a busy agenda for the residents which is so important. Her energy, smile and personality is contagious! I have to give a shout out as well to the on-site nursing staff who administer orders, gives meds and especially Brooke and Kim from SC housecalls! They are on-site available and responsive. So nice not to have to go outside to get labs, med changes or answer questions. Negatives? The food. It is improving. When we got there Dad said it was really not good … but good enough to keep him alive. Over the last 6 months, it has improved but still has a way to go. One last comment… Tom Basil has newly transitioned to the director position. He is so caring and works so hard to make sure communication with not only the residents but their families know what is happening. I can text, email or call Tom with anything, anytime and get an immediate response! Glad we made this Dad’s forever home! Available to talk to anyone who is considering Arbor Landing. I wish I could give them more than five stars. The facility is beautiful and the staff is fantastic. They take great care of my father and keep me posted frequently. The entire team always has a smile on their face and a positive attitude. This is a wonderful place for anyone in need of assisted living.

My father stayed here for 3 weeks of respite care and we cant say enough about the care he received. Hes legally blind so he needs a lot of assistance, but has his mental faculties. The staff met his needs and provided great companionship. They are a polished group of professionals who showed my dad the utmost of care and respect. In the past 12 years of respite care for my father, this was the first time I had no concern for his well being. Bravo to the staff at Arbor Landing! We will absolutely return when care is needed!

I was looking for an Assisted Living neighborhood for my 87 year old Mom and there was no facilities near me (NY) that would live up to our standards. I watched from afar when Arbor Landing was being built and thought upon completion that the outside of this building was just charming and looked like a happy place. I scheduled a tour and was introduced to Rachel. When I entered the building, I couldnt believe how beautiful the inside was and how it felt like home the moment we stepped over the threshold. We first had a meeting so that Rachel could get an understanding of what my Moms needs were and to answer each question we could come up with. The rooms are gorgeous and very spacious, sure to appeal to many. Throughout the tour, I kept thinking that this place was too good to be true and maybe too expensive for my Mom but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was very affordable considering all of the amenities that are provided.
