Mu aunt, whom I love dearly, is there. They take such wonderful care of her. She is basically non- verbal, but she is happy and thriving under their care. I can't tell you how much this means to me as she is like my mother in my heart.

The facility is clean, smells clean, spacious hallways, nice staff, many places to explore and we loved the theater. Having a chef on site is a plus we love that aspect. Love the kitchenettes in every room and the laundry service. The option to bring a pet or have pets visit is also a plus for us as well.

The community is clean, vibrant, and full of folks who really just care about providing the best personal care experience possible. Residents are well cared for by their dedicated team. My visits to the community are always enjoyable.

I will start by saying some of the staff is excellent, however quite a few staff members do not dress appropriately and make excuses for jobs not well done or done at all. It's also very Expensive. They don't answer the phone at times or answer the front door when you are trying to get in touch with your family member (I've actually have been there knocking and a staff member looked at me and kept walking, not letting me in). I witnessed a resident (in memory care) fall and then the staff all ran out of a room they were all sitting in, the staff should be sitting with these residents since they are all confused and needing help most of the time. They charge HUNDREDS of extra dollars to walk food to your family members room when they aren't well. Mice droppings on the floor in residents rooms. Would not suggest this place.

Great virtual tour of facility with Alicia. No needs, yet but definitely on list to look at in future. We took a live tour and a 2 hour visit on 11/17/22.! Alicia explains things well. We can continue to function on our own at this time, but we feel that legends will possibly be our choice when the time arrives.

The memory care unit refuses to clean soiled sheets of my loved one and insisted we supply new by the end of the day or pick them up and wash them ourselves. This was the straw that broke the camals back. So many issues over the past 10 months

We chose Legends because of the price and convenience to Lititz and our home . Our Aunt has dementia and she was going down hill fast . She didn't want to eat , she didn't want to go places and see people . She only wanted to stay at home and complain . She didn't want to go to Legend of Lititz either . She said we just wanted to get rid of her . Since she has been at Legend ,she has grown to love it and the people that live there and the workers . There are so many things that are inclusive for her plus they will take her shopping and to doctor appointments and restaurants . She is well taken care of and because she has many friends to talk with and play activities with .I think her mind is doing better .She said she is so glad to be here at Legend of Lititz . Thank you Legend for taking such good care of our Aunt .

My mother is very happy here. They certainly know how to throw a party. The place seams very active. She has only been there 2 months so I cant comment on care yet.

They truly have a very caring staff. And a very nice facility. Spent some time with my uncle Bob he turned 90 on November 7. Our anniversary, my grandfathers and my husbands birthday was on November 3. So I took him a whoopie pie and some Hershey chocolate candy . He loves chocolate. Who doesnt .

My mother has been very happy at Legends of Lititz. Every time I come to visit her, shes in the middle of some activity there, whether its chat groups or games or baking. They seem to have monthly family nights, parties, and live entertainment. Her room and the facility in general look very clean to me. Ive always found the regular staff to be helpful and friendly. I think it helps that its a smaller place, she made friends there very quickly, whereas at her old place there was so many people she was never able to remember who any of them were and never quite found a way to fit in.

This is a mixed review. Some aspects of this place are very nice such as the physical facilities and the rooms, apartments. The care is fine most of the time but this place is very understaffed and the strain on staff is evident. My mom has been here for a few months. Yes the place is very attractive. But you need to go beyond looks to the quality of care and level of staffing. While the care is generally ok, it is very inconsistent depending on what staff member is providing it. It is sometimes excellent and sometimes disappointingly poor. When we originally toured the facility we were enthusiastically told they could readily handle my Moms level of care, which included her being 95% non-ambulatory, some dementia, hard of hearing and totally dependent on others for toileting, transfers, dressing and bathing. In fact they went out of their way to sell us on the high levels of care they offer and how they can handle the more advanced care. However, this place is better suited toward someone who is ambulatory, fairly independent and has full control of their faculties. If your loved one needs a high level of care like my mom does, you will find some deficiencies. My mother has had about 5-6 falls here in just a few months. The last one sent her to the hospital. She is completely unstable on her feet yet an aide left her standing on her own with just a walker. She fell backwards and hit her head. The incident wasnt reported to us until hours after it happened and the aide did not even initially report that she hit her head. I find this to be a very serious deficiency. Ive come to the conclusion they are just not capable of handling her level of care. She often has to wait ten minutes or longer to get assistance to go to the bathroom. An elderly person like that just cant hold it in that long. She has had multiple falls because it takes too long for someone to come when she presses the button; she then tries to stand up on her own which she cant do. Its not the fault of the staff as they are just spread too thin. They are mostly helpful and caring but they have also made mistakes with medication and forgotten to do certain things for my mom that could have serious consequences. I know it is tough in this tight job market to find good people and they are probably underpaid for all they do. Its not an easy job and few would want to do it. I am sure that if they had more help, perhaps just one more person on duty for each shift, it would make a huge difference. But it is just understaffed and that results in poorer levels of care. One resident there told me they had ordered her medical tests through the facilitys chosen doctor. But after six weeks no one has gotten back to her with test results. The medical director there suddenly departed several weeks ago. Other smaller issues are not readily attended to. The computer in the library was out of service for quite a while, something that would be very frustrating for residents who depend on it. My moms tv remote was taken at some point and it took two weeks to get a replacement so she had no tv all that time. We asked multiple times to get an extra key for her room; it took over 2 months to get it. We tried to set up direct debit for her billing, that too took over two months to get set up. So, its a very pretty place and staff are nice but if you depend on others for help you may get it and then again you may have to wait a long time. If you need higher levels of care or are not ambulatory, this is not the right place for you. Also there is not much in the way of activities or things to do there. One of the listed activities on the calendar was Do as you please day. Really? Theres also nothing to do in the evening except the movie theater. Its dead there after 6 pm. The staff here for the most part do try very hard and I give them a lot of credit. But the insufficient staffing levels create unacceptable risks and the beauty of the place masks some inherent problems. Hoping the newest director will do all she can to improve the care there.
