As her health declined, the compassion and support shown to both my mom and to me was invaluable. My parents lived in Assisted Living at the Addison for almost 5 years, and I just moved them to Memory Care. Our experience has been phenomenal, and the care and love we have felt as we made this transition to Memory Care has been incredible. During such a challenging and emotional time, the entire team went out of their way to support us, guide us, and make everything as seamless and easy as possible. I am also impressed with the tenure of the management team, and the fact that people stay speaks volumes to the culture of caring.

My mother spent the last 3 years of her life in Magnolia Trails memory care. I was so pleased with the building, beautiful murals on the walls, friendly staff and the compassionate care my mother received. This was the best place I could have found for her. They even allowed her to bring her cat when she first moved in. Their holiday parties were top notch. Thank you to Surrenthia, Marty, Jill, Marilyn, Leonard, Theresa and all the amazing caretakers.

From their caring staff to the delicious food (which I've tried myself on several occasions) to the welcoming environment, this place takes the cake when it comes to care facilities! There are plenty of assisted living facilities, nearly one on every corner, but not one that has the feeling of home like The Addison or where the Executive Director (Marty's) door is literally open to everyone all the time. I also really love that I see familiar faces every time I'm there, which tells me they have low staff turnover, which is uncommon in this industry- they really take pride in hiring quality staff and doing what is necessary to show they value them. They will ensure your loved one feels at home at The Addison.

I have several seniors there at the Addison. I’ve been so pleased with the care that each of them has received. Anytime I have Something that I feel needs to be addressed, the executive director is always willing to listen and to help fix any issues. He’s such a nice guy and is so good to all the folks that live there. I can’t say enough about the caregivers there as well. I Can see the caring and the compassion in their eyes and when they are working with the residents. I will continue to refer people to this assisted living/memory care home. Marty, Jill, Keanna, Surrenthia, Tammy, the nurse, and the entire team are the best!

My parents lived at The Mansions AL & MC at Sandy Springs for two years before they both passed. The Mansions was the perfect place for them to be during the last years of their lives. There are many people there with hearts of gold who are very good at what they do and have years of experience. My parents' abilities changed dramatically while living at the Mansions, and the staff compassionately adapted to the shift in their needs. The food was great with homemade soup every day, and we loved the family meals during the holidays. I highly recommend The Mansions at Sandy Springs.

We have been so happy with the care The Mansions has provided for my parents, and my parents have thrived since coming here. The staff truly cares about the residents, and they have become friends to my parents and to me. I love having my friend Charles Nash, unit 125 staying at the Mansions Assisted Living and Memory Care. All of the professionals I've worked with are wonderful and supportive. From the time I walk in, sign in and make my way to the wonderful activities Charles is involved in, the facility is warm and welcoming. I love making a scrapbook of all his drawing. He loves drawing, singing and the fellowship he receives from the other family members at the Mansions. This is a great caring facility.

Dad lived on the assisted living floor for the last year of his life. During this year, he received wonderful care given by beautiful, kind and professional staff. Marty, the director, is very present in the day-to-day operations, as well as interacting with the residents on a regular basis. Jill, the marketing director, brings a bright smile and a compassionate, caring manner to everything she does at The Mansions. Tammy, the care director, is very capable and caring, and we always knew Dad was receiving great care. All the caretaker staff members were always so kind and helpful with Dad! The wait staff in the dining room knew all the residents by name and their preferences. We truly felt that all the staff at The Mansions were like extended family to us! There is a strong sense of community among the management, staff, residents and residents' families. All of our family highly recommends The Mansions!!!!! I wish there were 10 stars to give in my review!!!

My mother moved into the Mansions at Sandy Springs Assisted Living two months ago, and I couldn't be happier with our choice! The staff is attentive but not overbearing so mom is well cared for but still has a feeling of independence (which is hugely important to her). The other residents have been incredibly welcoming. Every time I'm there, someone stops by to say hello or introduce themselves. Mom is happier than she's been since she moved out of her house 2 1/2 years ago, and that is HUGE. As a caretaker, I appreciate that I can call the staff any time and ask them to check in on mom. They're responsive to any concerns I raise, and have gone above and beyond encouraging her to go down to meals and join in activities. I've slept better in the last two months than I have in years. THANK YOU MANSIONS!

My father spent nearly two years in the memory care facility. We found the facility to be calming, extremely clean and well-organized. Whenever we had a question, Marty and the staff was very responsive. Of course, the real heroes were the personal caregivers; Sally was instrumental in helping us get through the long goodbye. As a result, we just put a deposit down on an independent living unit for another family member.

We originally had our Dad at Village Park (they are awful at assisted living!! See my review of Village Park) We recently moved him to The Mansions!! It's like day ( The Mansions) and night (Village Park). Staff has very low turnover at Mansions, great involvement with residents, wonderful activities for both men and women (not just bingo!!) And my dad is so much happier!!! The Mansions is a community, not just a place to live! If you are looking in the area, I highly recommend The Mansions! (& Don't be fooled by Village Park-it is not assisted living!!!)

My parents were in another assisted living center for two years, in Dunwoody. After my father's death I felt the need to move Mom to a facility with more than TV as an activity. My Mom is in memory care due to dementia. When I moved her to the Mansions she was non communicative, slept all the time and did nothing for herself. In 2 months she has become a new person. She speaks her desires, participated doing jigsaw puzzles, feeds herself, walks in the courtyard, attends church services and is back to being " feisty". I have not seen the things others are posting negatively about. I have been super impressed with the activities presented and the personal attention Mom has gotten. The other facility made no attempts to do anything other than feed and house. I just wish I could have moved her sooner. I have personally witnessed many situations where the staff responded to a resident having a very bad day in a very caring and professional manner. They diffused angry behavior with caring words and attention. I am very glad I moved my Mom to the Mansions.

The staff are very engaging, remember names and attributes about family members, and exhibit genuine care not only for the resident but also for the family. I can’t imagine a better place. Considering the apartments, facilities and staff, the rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

My parents moved into The Mansions Assisted Living in August, 2019, shortly after it opened and I have been extremely pleased with the care they received. My mother has just recently transitioned into Memory Care. The director, Kiana Mills and staff have been so helpful in getting her moved and settled in. Part of the reason we chose The Mansions was because they offered Memory Care and we wanted to limit the disruption of moving. I've been impressed with the compassionate and individualized care, the responsiveness, and the communication. I would definitely recommend The Mansions at Sandy Springs.

My Aunt moved into The Mansions in December 2020 - during the middle of the pandemic! I’ve been very impressed with the quality and caring of every staff member I’ve contacted since the move. They worked hard to get her apartment set up nicely and her settled in comfortably when I couldn’t be there to help. The management, caregivers and reception staff have been very helpful with taking care of every request. I would highly recommend this facility if you want to make sure your family member has a lovely place to live.

My husband and I LOVE The Mansions Assisted Living at Sandy Springs. The staff are all fantastic and the facility is beautiful. Over five years ago we had to move our then 80 year old cousin from her hometown in Tennessee to an assisted living facility in central Sandy Springs because of declining physical and mental capabilities. Unfortunately, with the passage of time that facility’s physical condition and the level of care its staff provided to its residents declined. We moved our cousin to The Mansions shortly after it opened in mid-2019. We love the open, bright hallways and dining area. We interact constantly with staff members, including the executive director, the activities director, the head nurse and many of the caregivers. They are all positive in their attitudes and express kind compassion as they make our cousin’s life as good as it can be, especially in these months of Covid 19. Our cousin has thrived at The Mansions. We heartily recommend The Mansions to anyone who must make the difficult decision to move their loved one to an assisted living facility.
