I loved the look of the community and how inviting it was. The staff were very engaging with the residents and I was happy to see that. The food looked delicious but I didn't have time to stay and eat!!

I was there touring for my brother and we happened to be there for the lunch meal the food looked so appetizing that it made me hungry so my brother and I decided to have lunch and I mean the entire meal was delicious job well done

Visited the community for a family member and was blown away with how clean it was and how welcoming the staff was with my family. We ate lunch and I was greatly impressed with the chefs work. I can't wait to sleep peacefully knowing my family is in good hands.

My grandmother spent just over a year at Brickmont. She was in an independent living facility prior to coming to Brickmont and when she required a bit more care, we looked high and low (with limited time) to find the next place to call home for her. Brickmont was brand new and we felt very good about our interactions with the staff. We chose to move forward with them and we are so glad we did. The staff are all so kind. My grandmother felt cared for and loved and that is and was my top concern. In the year she was there, there was A LOT of staff turnover as I believe that is normal in this industry. There were three executive directors, four activity directors and heaps and heaps of other staff turnover. While there were glitches during these times, I think this can be expected and it takes patience and understanding but at the end of the day, everyone there is working tirelessly to take exceptional care of the residents. My grandmother passed this weekend and as the family reflected on her life, we were especially thankful that we found Brickmont and we were grateful for each of the amazing staff who blessed my grandmother with the love and care they gave. If you are looking for a clean, safe and caring place for your loved one, this is a great spot. They will care deeply and they will do their absolute best. Honestly, for the what they charge, you are getting an EXCEPTIONAL deal. I live out of state and considered moving her out closer to me but other similar facilities were 5-10x the cost out here. Brickmont is great service especially for the cost of care. Elder Care is not cheap and I would not say that Brickmont is cheap but they certainly provide top level care that was within our families budget. It was still a stretch for us but I don't think she would have received the level of care she got at Brickmont elsewhere and we would have spent far more at other places. The only recommendations for areas of improvement we would give to Brickmont is around the Food quality. That was the only complaint my grandmother had (honestly, I have never heard of any Assisted Living facility that is known for the food :). The only other thing I would suggest is that the owners of Brickmont invest a bit more into their staff to try to retain talent. They have had some amazing people come and go in a short period of time for various reasons and investing in the care of the staff will really take Brickmont to the next level. I have no doubt they will do this and by the time you are reading this review, these two things will have been improved. Brickmont is always willing and open to hearing how they can improve and they work hard to get better. That is a GREAT thing to look for in an assisted living facility and you will find that here! At the end of the day, we highly recommend Brickmont for you and your loved one.
