Tribute at Black Hill is an exceptional assisted living facility. I looked at several facilities in Philadelphia for my mother while my brother researched numerous possibilities in the MD/DC area. We agreed that Tribute at Black Hill was by far the best choice. Everyone there immediately went to work ensuring that my mother (who was resistant to the notion of living in an assisted living facility) made friends as quickly as possible. Tribute at Black Hill treats you like family. In fact, when my mother recently passed away, many of the staff were openly distraught since they too - like many of the residents - had become very close with my mother. The facility itself also is beautiful, with great outdoor spaces and meticulously maintained, and the food is excellent. Lastly, the cost was far more competitive than every other facility we looked at and without sacrificing anything at all on quality. You can tell when someone is simply "going through the motions" and when they truly love what they do. At Tribute at Black Hill it's clear everyone is completely dedicated to caring for their residents in every way possible. It's never easy to have a loved one go to assisted living but, thanks to Tribute at Black Hill, the experience for my mother and our entire family was fantastic. Thank you so much to everyone there, I will miss you!

In February of 2023, I started searching for assisted living facilities in the area after my mother had a stroke the previous month. I had visited 5 facilities and was starting to get depressed at the prospects of finding a good home for her. Then I went to Tribute at Black Hill and everything changed. Their staff show love and respect to their residents, and that's reflected in everything from the beautiful facility, the wide range of activities offered, the beautiful rooms, the fantastic food and the care of the nursing staff and aides. My mother passed away yesterday on August 1, 2024, and I can tell you that Tribute at Black Hill filled her final 17 months with many great moments, and they never stopped treating her with dignity. I know she was so happy being part of a wonderful community and making great friends. Living at home by herself she didn't have any of that, after the death of my father in 2019. Tribute at Black Hill will always have a special place in my heart, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place for a loved one. They are the absolute best assisted living facility in the area, bar none.

Last summer, my parents became part of the Tribute at Black Hill community. Tribute offered a clean, modern facility with a friendly staff. Their move was from out of state, so my parents had a wait for their furniture. Tribute provided temporary items to ease the wait, which saved us renting or purchasing items. The staff worked to accommodate my parents' unique situation. There were the hiccups that accompany change and adjustment, but those were quickly addressed by the staff. In addition to their regularly scheduled activities, Tribute has special guests or events that match the holidays or season. The staff see my parents for the individuals they are. The kitchen knows my dad's preference for Sriracha with meals and added it to his table. Several staff members have learned my mom is bilingual and have learned to say general phrases in her native language. Tribute set up a news story which celebrated my dad's military service and my parents' 60 years of marriage. Tribute has even invited my parents' dog into the community. I am happy that my parents have a safe, comfortable, supportive and friendly new home in Tribute.

My mother was the second resident, four years ago, to move into assisted living at Tribute at Black Hill. We lost her last month and our time with Tribute has sadly come to a close. I feel blessed that my mother was able to spend these four years at Tribute. She had a lovely room, a beautiful dining room, spacious community indoor and outdoor space, and best of all, kind-hearted staff that were attentive and loving to her. We used to visit with her at one of the many outdoor patios, in the beautiful sunlit library, or in the common area with a the piano and fireplace. The director of Tribute, Andrew Ryan, was helpful and highly accommodating to our mother as her needs changed in the past year. I am grateful to the entire staff at Tribute for having cared for my mother in these final years of her beautiful life.

In mid-January our family was researching memory care facilities for our beloved husband and father, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia several years ago. We had been on such a journey already and were bracing ourselves for very difficult decisions about our loved one's care and placement. Our first visit was to Tribute at Black Hill. Kathy, the Community Relations Director met with us and provided a full and heartfelt presentation of Tribute's amenities and services (we had 3 pages of questions that we never asked because Kathy covered everything in her presentation). Kathy took us on a tour and acknowledged each resident by name. We were extremely impressed with the facility, staff, and activities - so much that we put a deposit down on a one-bedroom apartment. Sadly, our loved one passed away before he was able to take residence. Kathy checked in with our family and was truly concerned about our welfare. We will be forever grateful to Kathy and Tribute.

My mom is now a resident at Tribute at Black Hill. I chose it because it felt light, bright and vibrant with a good variety of activities and the residents seem happy. The personal care my mom has received has been absolutely wonderful. It is a joy to visit her here and it feels good to know that she is cared for when I'm not there. I worked with Kathy Tucker who is knowledgeable and has been so helpful along the way. Thank you to all of the staff at Tribute at Black Hill. You're doing a wonderful job.

I recently toured this beautiful facility and was so impressed! What stood out for me was the warmth and positivity of everyone I met there. I loved seeing how happy and engaged the residents there were. Really lovely grounds, state of the art amenities, a robust activity schedule and a caring staff. I'm so impressed with the customer service at Tribute at Black Hill since I first came to view the community. All of the amenities and the meals are wonderful and delicious. The rooms are modern, warm, spacious, and very reasonable. The most important thing is the staff and management are caring and very accommodating to the needs of the residents, caregivers, and family members. Tribute of Black Hill is a first-class Assisted Living with a first-class team! I highly recommend them for your family member!

Every interaction has been amazing. When we first moved my aunt into Tribute, we expected to eventually see at least a few things we might not like. It is not the case with Tribute. The staff is attentive and caring with all residents. I think the corporate mission of Cadence is very good, because they know how to select and train all of their employees. I am so thrilled that the Thrive company chose Germantown to build a new style of Assisted Living. From the first contact with the sales and marketing team I k we thus was going to be the place where my folks would feel energized and cared for. The building looks and feels like a new condo or hip hotel. Everything detail shows how much the company wants their residents to feel young not old .
