Don't be fooled by appearances. I cared for my mother in my own home for 5 years. When it got to the point where I couldn't care for her and work a full-time job, I thought this place looked lovely and everyone seemed so caring. She ended up passing away after two weeks. The total bill for those two weeks ended up coming to over $11,000.00. This amount seems excessive for two weeks of stay doesn't it? This would include paying for an additional 4 wk.s of a room even though she wasn't in the room. This was contractual but I was told my admin that "this didn't seem right since she was only here two weeks", which I agreed. They requested with the VPO to reimburse for part or all of that amount, that was declined. The only way I found out was by repeatedly calling the Executive Director that only returned my call after leaving four messages directly to her over a week and a half and then claiming that we hadn't left three of those messages. Did I mention her voicemail says she will return calls within 24-48 hrs? My mother's care in those two weeks were less than ideal. I was told laundry would be done once a week yet I had to physically place her full laundry bin in the middle of the room into the second week of stay before the laundry was done and I found clothes in her room that were not hers, as I had placed name tags in all of her clothing. Her most favorite thing is food and something she never forgets and prioritized even with her memory issues. She told me they forgot her for supper one night and she had to settle for a microwave pizza, which wasn't good. Each patient room has a lock and since she had a prior stroke, she was unable to manage the lock. So, the caregivers would manage her lock for her. A resident found the room unlocked and came into her room and got in her bed and fell asleep. This was not hard to believe since I had a woman come into her room twice while I was trying to unpack her belongings and one of the staff told me that this resident "always does this". Her final day there, she was found unresponsive. The ambulance was called even though she was a DNR. When they called to tell me she was found unresponsive, I reminded them she was a DNR as I was her POA. I was told by the head nurse (the intake nurse), "you will have to tell them at the ER". I had to rush and get my POA paperwork and go to the ER to prevent any heroic act. We then sat in the ER for six hours as she had a massive stroke, remained unresponsive, and would not recover. They placed her on hospice and she passed away 24 hrs. later. Eternal Springs of Gilbert then ended up charging us for a total of six weeks of a room for the two weeks she was there. When the Executive Director did call me back to tell me that the VPO declined to reimburse any of the additional four week "room" charge, she told me they would inquire to see if any of the Community fee could be reimbursed and would get back to me in two days. Five days went by with no followup so I called her again and left a message. No call returned. I truly feel that I was told this just to get me off the phone. This one-time "community fee" of $3500 that is supposed to go to the liaison from the Agency for aging and when I followed up with her, she informed me they didn't pay her the full amount she was supposed to receive and she really had to hassle them for the partial payment they did pay her. So, not only were they heartless in the final amount we were charged but they also shorted this kind liaison so they could pocket more money. The caring stops after they get you in the facility. Be fully aware of all the small print and just know that this leadership is all about the money. Please be cautious before placing your loved one at this facility. The exception to this whole post is Amber. She was kind and returned our calls quickly. She truly cared and I would suggest she goes to a facility that truly prioritizes the residents and not just what they can get out of your bank account. I was really hopeful that this would be a good experience and the best decision for my mother but I was wrong. What they did was legal but heartless.

This building is so beautiful. The staff seem to be caring and kind . I would trust my loved in their care. It appears the most recent review talks about managers and staff that no longer work at this building so not sure how credible a review is if the review is coming from a disgruntled employee.

We moved my mother into Eternal Spring of Gilbert Memory Care after interviewing numerous facilities. From the moment we toured, I could see that everything about the entire place was top notch. The facility was extremely neat, clean and all of the employees were very friendly and personable. The head chef runs a extremely tight and organized kitchen with a well balanced variety of dishes. The staff that schedules and runs all of the activities for the residents is great and they do a fabulous job keeping everyone involved and engaged. Marcia, the Administrator and Linda, the Memory Care Director due a fantastic job of managing and seeing to the special needs of all their residents. The entire staff is one of the most helpful and caring group of associates that you could ask for to assist your loved ones.

Linda and her staff in the Memory Care Unit are always very kind and helpful in taking care of my husband. A couple of days ago when I was there visiting my husband, my husband stopped Linda and thanked her for all she does. That was very touching to me because the previous faculty my husband was in every night when I got there to visit with him he would tell me this is not a good place. My husband is 6 feet 10 inches tall and has not walked in almost 4 years and he is no longer able to slide out of his wheelchair and into bed or out of bed and into the wheelchair. Bill also has Memory issues now. Linda and her staff are very kind to Bill and everyone tells me how they all enjoy him and his smile, I have even had the hospice nurse tell me that Eternal Springs of Gilbert is a good place. Bill has been here for a couple of months and I am happy he is there.

Nice new building is the one positive to the place. My friend resided there for 3 years and her time critical medication was frequently not dispensed as prescribed or in accordance with the Institute For Safe Medication Practices. Med techs were constantly changing so even if situation was addressed, and they did start dispensing correctly, when they left it would start all over again. I can not recommend this place to anyone needing consistent medication dispensing.👎 Most staff were nice but one staff in particular belittled my friend and put her down in front of other residents instead of coming alongside to help her with what needed to de done. Also getting a response from the director to questions was difficult at times even for people even on the approved list.

My 87-year-old mother agreed that it was time for her to look into Assisted Living in order to maintain as much independence as possible. Marcia met, and toured, twice with us so another family member could attend, and went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome, and particularly that my mother felt supported and cared for as we explored the community and its offerings. In the course of our tours we met and spoke with many of the staff, including the receptionists, nurse, maintenance tech, activities coordinators and dining room host/manager. All of them were extraordinarily friendly and eager to talk about their pride in Eternal Spring of Gilbert. The residents we encountered were equally proud of their community and were incredibly welcoming. There was no doubt that they are part of a compassionate and responsive community that is completely dedicated to them and their needs.

I can not stress enough how happy that my parents are and the relief that our family has. From the moment we entered, when we toured with our parents we were so impressed! The front lobby is so welcoming from the beautiful furnishings to the gorgeous staircase. As we continued our tour we saw the that they have 2 bistros, one on each floor, the home theatre, activities room, game room, library, private dining room available, hair salon and even a family kitchen. I love the idea of the family kitchen to be able to do cooking or baking with our mom. One of the important things we were looking for was a good memory care. We know that it is a very real option that we might need in the future. As with all the furnishings, it was inviting and comfortable. My dad said he felt like you were in your own living room. Their head chef is the best that I have seen. (When researching new assisted living options we would always visit over a meal time.) Residents will be eating 3 meals a day there and you want to make sure that the food is appetizing. The entire staff has an open door policy and always eager to listen to input from my parents or family. They have told us from the first day, This is their home and we are guests in their home to assist them. I just want the entire staff to know how much they are appreciated and the peace of mind that I personally have. Thank you, Sandy Lewis

If you are looking for the absolute best care for your loved one, s please look no more. My wifes mother was very ill in February 2020 and we searched long and hard and found Eternal Springs and are so thankful we did. My mother-in-laws care was beyond fantastic. If there were a 10-star rating I would leave it. Marsha and everyone at this facility care deeply and personally for the loved ones in their care and their families. The nurses and entire staff were kind, compassionate and loving. I am sorry for my delay in writing this but saw one review that did not make sense to me and felt I should write this. Especially in our current environment I would choose Eternal Springs for anyone needing care and know that they will receive the best care even if you are not personally able to be there. I believe God sent us to Eternal Springs for my mother-in-laws care and the entire staff all displayed the love of angels. The facility is beautiful and well equipped but that was not as important to our family as the care received.

Gorgeous facility! The staff are all wonderful! Receptionist at the front desk, and all Management are extremely friendly and have great customer service skills! This facility has complimentary drinks, coffee and snacks in the front which I thought was very welcoming. The lobby is beautifully furnished and decorated! Theyve really strived to make this building a lovely home for all who live there meals are Tasty their Chef is excellent!

This place is wonderful. Was looking to transition my parents to an assisted living. I found this community and its simply amazing! From the outside to the rooms this place is clean and well maintained! And the staff I think is the highlight of this place. From the friendly front desk to the caregivers all made me feel welcomed. I had a tour from the RCC named Jasmine, very knowledgeable and caring, honestly one of the best tours Ive had. She made me feel very confident in choosing Eternal Springs as my parents next home.

Our family followed this assisted living community from early construction until it opened this January, and we are so happy to have our parents there! The staff is amazing, all of moms and dads needs are closely monitored and attended to by knowledgeable and caring individuals. Our parents have been together 70 years, but they have very different needs and this community addresses all of them. The building itself is beautiful, well planned out and accommodates assisted living and memory care needs. The chef and his staff are wonderful and serve freshly made amazing meals. The management team is unbelievable, they listen to you and make you part of the care plan for you loved ones. If you are in need of care for someone, you absolutely need to visit this community!
