Unfortunately fake reviews are rampant now adays. Mine is not! I was told by who I believe was the sales manager of I did not like what was going on to take my mom out of there. The situation was there was a beyond loud musical and singing presentation concert in a shared upper floor community area. It was so out of control loud we could not have a discussion in an adjoining hall room with yhe door closed.. The concert performers and equipment blocked the area from my family members room to the single elevator. Let me say it again in an assisted living home they had a concert going on that was so loud it was debilitating to go by. The hall way was blocked of which it was impossible if for anybody other than a spry person to get by. I screamed at the top of my lungs to please turn it down. I could not even hear my own voice. Unbelievable. This is a place for older people to come and live in serenty. The concert was exactly opposite of that. Then when we finally managed to wind our way past into the elevator an employee. The sales agent ,i nrlieve,boarded the elevator to confront us because we dared to question the insanity and told us if we don't like debilitating noise and blocking of the hallway area we should take my family member and go somewhere else. This is unbelievable. If this is the culture what are they presentinf to the residents when no one is around These are older people living there who can't advocate for them selves. I repeat the employee, believed to be the sales manager told us if we don't like it basically to take our family member and get the hell out. That's not a compassionate loving person but a bully. This person should be fired immediately. We could not believe what we heard. If I was the owner and heard an employee say that they would be immediately fired and escorted out.On top of that who authorized a 150 decibel concert in a confined location like that? Foolishness and incompotense combined. The arrogance to tell us to suck it up or take our parent out of there home and leave boiled my blood. Then that person became very passive aggressive. That behavior and attitude is a symptom of the culture and likely condoned by her boss and or the owner(s). I hope to move my vunerable parent out soon and hope others do as well.

Heritage of Marietta is one of those hidden gems set in the middle of a super convenient location. They have an amazing activities staff with Margo, who is always finding fun ways to include everyone and brighten their days. Their care staff is some of the most caring and thorough I've ever seen with Rita and Linda taking amazing care of the residents along with the rest of the care staff. Even the head honcho, Audrey, is one of the best nurses I've ever met! Here's the kicker: their chef is amazing! I always look forward to meals they provide, and you don't know how hard that is to find. I would recommend the Heritage of Marietta to any of my friends and loved ones. Oh, and the residents - you will never find a more fun and loving group of people than they have here.

Pros: the rooms look good, price is reasonable, Ashlee is great to work with, and the staff overall is fairly nice. Cons: the food could use improving and sometimes came out a while past the set meal time. There were a couple times I came to visit after the doors were locked and sometimes I had to stand and wait for 5-10 minutes for someone to attend to the doorbell. This place could be managed better. When moving my dad out after he finished his respite stay, a woman I saw mentioned that she gave him his medicine. I said ok. Right as we finally got everything in the car I brought the cart back and asked if anything else needed to be done. The receptionist that day then handed me medicine and said- here's your dad's medicine and you can sign for it. I thought maybe they had left one out by accident and that was the last piece of his medicine routine so I took it, signed, handed it to him in the car, and left. Then I get a call 3 hours later being told they gave me someone else's medication. They insinuated this situation was my fault because they had mentioned they gave him his medicine. It is not my fault at all that you went out of your way to give me this other prescription. I'm a college student helping my dad on my own, I'm tired. No I didn't read the name on the package. I should've received an apology but I did not. They were expecting me to drive back over from Kennesaw (30 min) and bring it to them. My dad lives 5 min away so I mentioned that they could stop by and get it from him. They said they would do that, and then no one showed up at my dad's house. They even told me to let him know they were coming. I called them 2 times around an hour/hour and a half later to see what was going on and the phone rang with no answer. I would hate to have an emergency here. If your parent is in a more severe situation I do not recommend you bring them here. The people were nice and I appreciate their kindness to my dad, but there is minimal supervision and little attention to detail.

My mother, who is 90, has stayed at Heritage twice, once for respite care and once for a longer-term stay. In each case, the attention that she received was wonderful. The staff took the time to get to know her personally to ensure that her needs were met. Her food was delicious and served in a timely manner. My mother is picky about what she eats, but she did not complain about the food while there. The facility is well maintained outside and is clean inside. The staff treated me courteously and fulfilled all of their commitments as promised. Would I recommend Heritage to others? Absolutely, yes.

We placed my aunt at HoM on March 30, 2021 from another local facility, where she resided for approximately two years. We noticed the quality of care had diminished. She is very up beat person and loves to sing and dance when she hears old school music. This changed and she didn’t seem upbeat and didn’t respond to old school music. We also noticed her hygiene care was decreasing. We found HoM and noticed that the facility was clean, well keep and had bright colors. Our aunt is upbeat again, dancing and singing to old school music. She is receiving first rate care and hygiene from the staff. Thank you HoM for putting happiness back in her life. We truly don’t worry about her care any more.

The Heritage of Marietta is one of the nicest places for seniors that I have had the pleasure to come in contact with. The facility is clean, warm, and inviting as soon as you cross over the threshold. The staff greets you with smiles and warmth. Sonja and Tim, along with other staff members are leading the way in senior living. I am thrilled to have met them and to be able to collaborate with them on senior activities. This is certainly a place that families can be safe and at peace knowing that their loved ones are respectfully being taken care of through their golden years!

Words cannot express the gratitude that I have for the Heritage of Marietta. I called for a tour after reading a review about the marketing director Tim, and I must say I do agree with the other reviews about him. I was searching for a place for my mom and called the building on a Saturday afternoon and was told that he was off but staff would let him know that I called and I was shocked that he called me within 5 minutes after that. I was expecting to get a tour later in the week because I was not off until Friday but he accommodated my schedule and gave me an amazing tour the next morning, which was a Sunday at 9am! He actually came in on his day off! That was the best tour of a building that my wife and I ever received. Tim was able to answer my questions and comforted my wife and I because we never thought we would have to place my mom in a facility and its been very hard on us but he shared his experiences about placing his mom in a facility and how he recently lost her to Covid 19. I dont know where he get his strength from but we love him! I highly recommend The Heritage of Marietta and ask for Tim!

I cannot say enough about this place, I called looking for a place for my mom and spoke to the Marketing Director, Tim and he was so helpful and gave a great tour to my wife and I. The Executive Director, Sonya is awesome we did not understand if my mom qualifies for a assisted living facility or a nursing home and she took time out of her busy schedule to make sure that we I stand the process. Tim and Sonya definitely cares about the Residents and their well being. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking at Assisted Living Facilities.
