Arbor Terrace has been incredibly helpful and supportive with our family member. Im a reaident here at ATSF. Ive been here a month and a half already. I have to express my gratitude & appreciation of how well Chef Roy & his team truly are here. Sierra is normally my server during my meal times and she's always so pleasant and patient, helping me choose the chef specials on the menu daily. She smiles all the time and we can tell just how much they all enjoy working working here.I just want to say how wonderful Ronesha has done for me a wonderful job cleaning all of my sheets and covers and cleaning my room. My father-in-law has been at Arbor Terrace for 18 months. Overall, it has been a positive experience for him and his family. Every resident is different and there will be challenges that arise. Arbor Terrace has done a good job working with him and the family to make this period of his life as pleasant for him as possible. My Papa has lived here since January. Everyone is so nice. Darlene at the front desk always greets me and makes me smile. I think my Papa is well taken care of and he seems to be very happy. He went to see Epic Elvis in their theater last week and really enjoyed. They have lots of activities for residents to take part in. I think its a great place!

My father who lives there and myself have had a great experience with Arbor South Forsyth. From the moment you walk in the facility and are greeted by Darlene you have a welcome home feeling. She is very personable with a fantastic smile. You always are made to feel valued when she is there. I also want to mention Bria and Hannah 2 of the caretakers that always are friendly and seem to truly enjoy helping the people living there. You may be able to find a better place but I wouldn't bet on it!

We don't have any experience with someone living there but my wife and I took my mother for a tour. I was very impressed with how much time Jennifer gave us. She made sure to understand what my mother's likes and dislikes are and then went from there. The facilities look great to me and I feel like the average person needing assisted living would be very happy here. Lee, the entertainment director came over and introduced himself and seems to be another strong suit of the operation. We were there during his Mother's Day brunch which looked to be a big success with piano player and all. We met several other employees, including Lisa at the reception desk, and everyone was very kind.

Deciding on a place for my dad was not easy. He needed more than assisted living, but not the full level of memory care. The Bridges community at Arbor Terrace provided just the right place for him. As he has settled into his new home, I have been so impressed by the staff and the care they provide. They have taken the time to get to know him and help make his experience the best it can be. Arbor South Forsyth has been a blessing for our family. The team there is first rate Jennifer, Sara and Makieu have been wonderful in helping us transition our Mom to the community. From the minute you walk in the door you're greeted by smiling and helpful faces. The property and apartments are lovely. The meals are amazing. The move for our Mom has been easier than expected. The employees are very professional but also so kind and thoughtful when talking with and helping my mother. Delores and chef Roy are doing a great job keeping my mother content with her meals and seating. Makieu, who heads up Wellness Services, is a warm, knowledgeable nurse who with her team of caregivers does an excellent job of keeping my mother comfortable and safe. The front desk receptionists are perfect! Administrative staff are responsive and so helpful. Just can’t say enough positive things about this place!

Just focusing on the dining Roy and his team run an excellent dining room. They work with each resident to ensure they have menu items that are appealing, but the entire experience is lovely and personal. Jonathan and Raven, who wait in the residents, are kind and easy with them and all of the staff are a real part of the living community here. The cookies are amazing but others swear by the pork loin and the bacon cheeseburgers! All in all, a wonderful and important part of this place!

Arbor Terrace at South Forsyth has the most amazing support group! Once a month anyone who has a person that they are caring for that has Dementia can come and get emotional support, ask questions to qualified staff, and enjoy talking to others that are also caring for a person with Dementia. I find this is one of the best ways to relieve some of the stress of care giving!

I think Arbour Terrace is wonderful. Of course, I am impressed by its food and environment, but the most important thing to me is that I know I can continue to live here even when I am no longer independent and need more advanced nursing care. Arbor is a special place. My mom has been at Arbor for over a year now, and I couldn't be happier with the staff, her care or the facility. When looking for a place for mom, Arbor was the 2nd of 13 places we looked, and afterward, all other places were measured against it. While many were nice, it just didn't compare to Arbor. I just knew it was the right place for her. Walking in, you could feel the quality and caring atmosphere of the facility. The staff were welcoming, the residents were happy, and they listened to what was important to usthat my mom would be safe, comfortable and happy. From Karen, the executive director, who always has an open door, to Makieu, the medical director, who knows the rules and what's needed, to Roy, the chef extraordinaire, to all the activity staff, medical technicians and care managers, they are all truly dedicated to taking care of the residents. Given the challenge of working with an elderly population, Arbor sets itself apart: my mom's room is always clean, her laundry is done, her meals are tasty and nutritious, she has friends to eat meals and be social with, and she has onsite PT/OT. And special shoutouts to Darlene, front desk, Dolores, my favorite server, Barbara, who cleans mom's room, and, of course, Ms. Cha-Cha, the beautician who works magic on the residents. There's Nitya, Bria, Idah andthere are just too many to name. I rest easy at night knowing where my mom is, which, when you think about it, is what matters most.

The food Chef Roy serves is delicious. The servers, Michael, Jonathan and Sierra are excellent. They are fast and efficient servers. They are patient and respectful to all the residents and are a noteable credit to Arbor Terrace.

My husband entered memory care in December. After visiting 3 facilities I chose Arbor Terrace South Forsyth. From the moment you enter the building you are greeted by Darlene at front desk with a smile. The memory care team lead by Payton Washburn show compassion and are engaging with each person. Issues that have come up have been dealt with immediately and professionally. This is a tough job, so many to thank for their hard work. Hats off to the entire team in Memory Care.

My mom moved into Arbor Terrace 7 months ago. She is in the assisted living part with some assistance with showering and dressing. She is mobile with a walker. We have had such a positive experience. It is never easy to move into assisted living for the parent or the child, but Arbor Terrace and their staff have made the transition seamless and very pleasant. Darlene at the front desk is a joy. I'm not sure where AT gets their employees, but everyone from the person that cleans the rooms to the person that helps my mom shower are TOP NOTCH. So friendly and accommodating. They all have a personal relationship with my mom. Someone stops in to check on my mom several times a day - just to see if she needs anything. A SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to Chef Roy and his team in the Dining room/Kitchen!! These folks do an amazing job taking care of their residents. They all know my mom and know all her likes and dislikes. Her soda or wine arrive as soon as she sits down or even as she is walking in!! and they always know what to bring her for dessert. The food is excellent with great variety and freshness. Their soups are amazing! I eat lunch their every week with my mom and thoroughly enjoy it. Chef Roy usually stops by to say hello and the ladies are simply delightful. I can't say enough about Arbor Terrace. My mom is happy and feels safe and taken care of and I have complete peace of mind.

My mother stayed here after she was hospitalized. The Arbor Terrace team were true professionals, providing a warm, caring and clean environment for my mother. Unbeknown to them, my cousin was a retired cardiac head nurse for a major hospital in TX, and my son is a pharmacist. Both proclaimed this Arbor Terrace facility to be excellent and were impressed with their capabilities and activities. Bringing a loved one to assisted living is a hard choice to make, but the Arbor Terrace team made it as painless as possible. Highly recommended!

The staff at Arbor Terrace is fantastic and we have been so happy over the past two years with their care for our loved one. POSITIVES: - LOCATION - WARM, INVITING ENVIRONMENT - 2 NICE COURTYARDS AND OUTSIDE SITTING AREAS - A FEW LOVELY STAFF NEGATIVES: EMERGENCY PULL CORDS on the wall do not work, or are not responded to (twice in 30 days I've had to pull them when with my mother and had to leave her in the shower or on the toilet and no one responds to them even after multiple attempts to alert someone that we need help). There is no audible alarm but the notification goes to staff's phones (?)... FOOD QUANTITY/ QUALITY: In communities not directly adjacent to the kitchen, food is brought up in serving dishes, sometimes without sternos, and food is often served cold. There is often not enough food for all of the residents, so if your loved one is in Bridges or Evergreen at a back table, they get scrapings (ex. squash soup = my mom received broth). Often the soup of the day is actually just broth. UPDATE: Chef recently got electric chafing dishes so hopefully some of this will get better! SILVERWARE: There is often no silverware or limited items. My mom has had to eat eggs with a spoon before. No knives despite chicken etc. that needs to be cut. WATER: The facility does not provide water to residents at meal times or promote hydration throughout the day. For meals, they are consistently offered soda, juice, or tea - this seems like a bizarre practice. There is a water station but residents with dementia don't know to go get water or ask, and it is not offered. I have spent 10 hours in the hospital with my mother due to alarming mental decline to be told she was just severely dehydrated. For dementia patients, hydration is crucial, but this is not built in to care plans. The water cups they are given are tiny plastic cups so even so, a cup or two would not be enough throughout the day, even if they did get served water with dinner. Juice and tea/ soda are served in larger reusable cups, but water in small disposable cups and only when asked. SNACKS: There are supposed to be snacks served 2x per day, but no snacks are ever served. When they were, they were little debbies etc. not nutritious snacks. STAFFING LEVELS: Regardless of the level of care plan including supervision while on the floor at all times, facility is often under-staffed and while there are some lovely staff members that make great effort to care for and supervise the residents, when you have a med-tech and 1-2 caregivers for 25-30 residents, it is not feasible at all times, so know they will not be supervised all the time while on the floor. CLEANLINESS: It took weeks to get fecal matter off my mother's wall and bathroom tile once after reporting it several times. Staff said they didn't notice it... LAUNDRY: There is no accountability for who does laundry or when, it is often not done on time, and it is almost never put away or organized, often being returned DAYS LATER, with either missing items, or items with other people's names on it (I even found a towel recently with someone else's name stitched on it in large letters...). I have labels on all of my mom's clothing, and have had to retrieve 2 sweaters via the caretakers that I physically saw on other residents, and they have her name on them. Socks go missing, towels go missing. There is zero process or accountability/ trackability on this and has been going on for months. MISSING ITEMS: Items go missing and there is no process to try to locate it in other resident's rooms or look for them. TRASH STORAGE: Trash in Bridges is stored in a mechanical closet adjacent to the wellness station, often very smelly and not contained. This seems very unsanitary. When asked about this, staff say that management has advised them to use the mechanical closet for trash storage. MANAGEMENT: There are no managers on-site before 8 or 9 AM or after 5-6 PM on weekdays, and no managers on-site on the weekends. I hope some of this gets better but these issues have been ongoing for the better part of a year.

I toured the community with Dr Parikh it is very clean and beautiful We met several residence on our tour and everyone seemed to be so happy and engaged. This is the best Assisted Living Facility in forsyth county! My mother in law is in memory care here and loves it! The staff are very knowledgeable about Dementia care and they are warm and friendly - they maintain the dignity of your loved one and still give them autonomy which is super important. The food here is amazing and prepared by a chef - housekeeping and resident care and activities are top notch as well as communication.

Abror Terrace is a wonderful state of the art facility with caring people and hospitality. Mom has settled in very easily within a few days. She is loving the daily activities and routine, along with the friendly staff. This has been a easy transition.

Arbor Terrace is absolutely beautiful. Spotless. It has the atmosphere of a cruise ship. The staff is amazing. You feel welcome as soon as you walk through the doors and are greeted. The residents are busy and part of a very special community. I was so impressed and emotionally attached when I was given a tour. I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone of my loved ones. Take an hour and go visit and look for yourself. If you are in need of an assisted living home, this is the place. Stephanie and Kristen will be happy to answer all your questions. I had the pleasure of enjoying a tour of the facility a few days ago. I immediately felt welcomed by all the friendly staff I interacted with. There seemed to be a great sense of community between all the residents I saw. I would highly recommend making an appointment with Kristen or Ashton for a tour.

After looking at several assisted living facilities we chose Arbor Terrace because the staff was professional and caring. The staff always makes sure our parents needs are taken care of, which is a huge relief for our family. The facility is always clean and if repairs are needed they done in a timely manner. Terry at the front desk is always welcoming and always offers assistance to parents and family. When my mother had a medical procedure Chris Winnie sent flowers and came to see her. These are just some examples of Arbor Terrace and why we are happy to be part of its community.

My mother's experience in memory care was short here, less than two months. The miscommunication and high turnover among staff is just as bad here as other places. The only difference is the look of the place which is immaculate. The one empathic staff member was the Memory Care Director who got let go when it was other staff which were at fault. The saving grace was being refunded the second month's charges as requested.

I moved my parents into ATSF in late 2016 and they were in separate areas when then arrived, based on care. I found having them in the same place helped mw with time & care management & the Care Staff supported our care for my mother until her death in 2019. My father has regressed from Assisted Living (AL) to Bridges, to Evergreen. The moves have been based on consultation of ATSF staff and at our family's discretion and this has worked well. The Year 2020 Pandemic was very hard on ATSF to maintain consistent staff and subsequently consistent care. But that has improved since late summer, 2021 and I believe is dong much better. No Assisted Living Facility is perfect, but they do a good job of following your wishes as they can & gave you access to your loved ones. Its your responsibility as family to be engaged, and I am.

I recently toured at Arbor Terrace, and as an emergency room RN I was happy to hear about the visiting and safety measures they're taking to welcome back residents' families during COVID. I'd absolutely recommend touring at Arbor Terrace if you're looking for assisted living or memory care.

My mother has lived at Arbor for 3 years in Brdges and in Memory Care. Moved her in December to Heartis facility in Suwanne. A big mistake as l moved my mom back in 2 weeks. Arbor is a more caring community as the other was not. Penny, Sr. Counselor, was our true savior and friend as I called her on a weekend and explained not happy with the new place. Between Penny and the Director, Mom is back and being cared for by the people who knew her previously. Thanks again Arbor!

I visited this place for work - beautiful place. What is the most important here- the staff is sincerely friendly, very responsive and helpful. It is very important for residents to have staff that appreciates their place of employment.

Our experience with ATJC has been excellent, dating back 3 years. The staff and the facility are top notch. The leadership has been steady and care team shows the type of compassion and responsibility that you'd want for a loved one. The facility is Clean, the food is excellent with a great variety. During the Covid period (since March 2020 - present) the communication has been excellent and their efforts to keep the residents safe and engaged have proven exemplary.

Arbor Terrace at Johns Creek is a fantastic facility. I had my parents here and they were both treated with love and respect by the staff. My mom died last year and the love and support I received from the staff was amazing. And this month my dad died and they made sure, even with the current situation, that I was able to be present when he died. I cannot tell you what that meant to me! The care both parents received was exceptional. If you are looking for a place for your parents, I highly recommended Arbor Terrace at Johns Creek. They give you peace of mind!

My mother was a resident at Arbor Terrace for a year before her passing. We found the entire staff from the office personnel, caregivers, kitchen staff and activities team to be compassionate, professional and very caring to my mother and family. My mother thanked me everyday "for having such a wonderful place to live". The staff always included her in activities and social functions and provided professional advice and guidance to us in her care. We appreciated all of their kindness and caring attitude during this past year and I can only express my heartfelt thanks to the entire team of professionals there.

My mother spent over 5 months in their care at the Bridges. We were completely satisfied with the level of care she was provided. The staff took a real interest in my mother and made the transition into her apartment the best it could be. She soon participated in the many activities that were provided and was well cared for by all of the staff. Playing Bingo and the escorted trips outside Arbor Terrace were her favorites. We searched several locations and found Arbor Terrace the best choice.

I brought my 92 year old father to Arbor Terrace of Johns Creek back in April of this year from southwest Missouri, where he lived in the same house for nearly 60 years. At Arbor Terrace, Dad is living in the Evergreen section and feels very much at home. The administration and nurses at Arbor Terrace, have been outstanding. They are always willing to make themselves available to answer questions and they treat my dad as if he's a member of their own family. The nurses assist with dad's daily living tasks with the friendliest and extremely helpful attitude. Dad enjoys participating in the daily activities offered to Evergreen residents. He also enjoys engaging in fun-filled conversations with the nurses and other residents. In addition, Arbor Terrace provides three delicious and wholesome meals every day. I have eaten several meals there myself. I am happy to report that dad turned 93 last week and is in better health now than he was when I brought him to Arbor Terrace five months ago. I highly recommend Arbor Terrace, without reservation, to families looking for a safe, happy, and clean facility for their loved ones, when living at home is no longer an option.

Our family has been very pleased with the care of our mom in the Evergreen Neighborhood (Memory Care) at Arbor Terrace. No place is going to duplicate the care that a parent might receive at home, but Arbor Terrace is a close second.
