My brother and I made the decision to relocate our 93-year-old mother to the Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach three months ago, after visiting several assisted living facilities in Broward and Palm Beach counties. We were given a comprehensive tour of the facility by Felecia, the Executive Director. Trish, the Sales Director, and her assistant, Dyanna. They were incredibly helpful throughout the leasing process. Since moving in, the nursing staff, led by Stephanie, has provided exceptional care for our mom. The meals offered are delicious and diverse, and there are numerous activities available for residents. Additionally, the facility is very clean and well maintained. We wholeheartedly recommend the Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach for your loved ones.

I visited this facility and placed my 84 year old grandmother there. I was thoroughly impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. She's in the memory care unit and I don't have to worry about her eloping with the level of security here. Theresa is wonderful at the front desk, Dyanna made the leasing process incredibly easy, Felecia is one of the most hands on executive directors I've ever come in contact with, and Ruby and Kamaley always give me updates about my grandma. It was a difficult decision but the best facility to place her.

I placed my 95 year old dad in this facility this year. I have had a wonderful experience with all of the staff. They are responsive, caring and so very kind. Anytime I reach out to them they get back to me quickly and try their best to accomodate any request we have. I highly recommend this facility, it is beautiful, well kept and the staff is awesome. It was hard for my dad to sell his home and go to independent living but the staff at Grand Villa made the transition much easier. I feel much better knowing they have an eye on him at all times.

Admittedly, I had been somewhat doubtful regarding the operational aspect(s) of assisted living facilities; and their treatment of residents. However, upon careful examination of both staff and the facility itself, I grew to become more open-minded about the matter, at Grand Villa. This particular facility has wonderful staff members, such as Trish and Keke; who graciously accepted my father into their facility; enabling his transition to feel more like home than an actual facility. In short, Grand Villa is a very professional, highly regarded assisted living facility that will treat your family as family. I highly recommend this place.

If you love your family member, DON'T PUT THEM HERE! The caregivers are amazing but the lack of communication and care between administration and RN with doctor and family members is unbelievable! My dad was placed in memory care unit on October 19th and his condition has deteriorated ever since! He was just taken to the hospital via "non-emergency transport for a psychological evaluation" at the recommendation of the RN and when he arrived at the hospital MANY hours later, he had a temperature of 102.8, was suffering from hypothermia, his heart rate was at 40 and his blood pressure was sky high! This is one of many examples of the lack of care for their resident's wellbeing and fortunately it's the last one for my dad as I can't trust my father's life in their hands!

Everyone always is super friendly and has a smile on their face. Whenever we come in to visit, everyone says hello. The place is always clean and the residents are always in the front talking to each other. Its great to see everyone together having a good conversation. At their age, they love to tell stories. My family and I have loved all the care and help from the facility making the switch of my grandfather moving in. Everything went smoothly and the management have even helped with things relating to other projects, like school assignments and a Girl Scout Gold Award. Everything is very clean and modern in the facility, which makes it feel safe to be there to visit. There can also be many accommodations made, which helps make all of our family feel like my grandfather is at home.

The staff was amazing and the one aid walked us to my fathers friends room. I had a different idea of assisted living facilities. I saw residents walking around happy. I went with my neighbor today to visit her mother at Grand Villa. I figured it couldnt hurt since I may need a place for my mother and father down the road. As soon as you walk in you notice how open everything is. The floors were beautiful! ( Gave me a great idea for my own house ), there was a super cute coffee area right in front with huge windows to look out of and a sitting area right across the way. As my neighbor was visiting her mother I walked around just to see everything that was going on. When I arrived, everyone was waiting for the dining room to open. I asked someone what was for lunch, (trying to make small talk) and they told me that today was BBQ day. I asked what that meant and they told me it was like having a cookout. How fun is that?!?! Everyone looked happy and were talking with one another, then the doors opened and it was time for them to all go in. I continued to walk around and seen the coolest jukebox that I have seen in awhile. Took me back to my younger years for a minute. As I just watched for awhile, I seen the Christmas decorations being put away and I thought to myself how nice it is that this place goes all out and even had Christmas trees up for everyone. But, with all the great things being said, I must also note on one thing that was not so impressive. You had people outside smoking, which is fine with me, but it is right off the dining room. I just thought that it was a little odd to have a smoking area right next to a place where people eat. It would seemed that it would be difficult for people to enjoy the large screened in area if they wanted to sit outside. Other than that, everything seemed quite lovely and it helped me really understand what an Assisted Living was. For all the people that work there, kudos to them for helping people during their times when they need someone. Thank you for allowing me to visit.

I did not have an appointment but wanted to see the community for Aunt. I asked for a tour and I was impressed with the kindness from everyone. The rooms were spacious and the dining room was large and bright. There were activities going on with a lot of people interacting. There was also a large cafe area that many were sitting in having conversations with each other as soon as you walk in. It was great to see that. This would be a great place for my aunt!

It has been remodeled and continues to be, and is very well kept. the residents and staff are friendly, pleasant and accommodating. My apartment is perfect for me and has become home. the management staff is always available when i need them.
