I'm trying to get my Mom into Brookdale in Monroe. The best community of the 4 we have seen. It's well run and first class for residents. The staff is amazing no matter whom you talk to. Jackie Fiore is our connection there and she answers her phone or calls back very quickly. She always has time for you. Definitely tour this community. You will be glad you did.

Our family recently moved our cousin into Brookdale in Monroe Township, and we could not be happier with the experience. From day one, everyone made him feel welcomed, comfortable, and truly at home. He has been so happy getting to know the other residents, making new friends, and becoming part of the community. One of the things he enjoys most is how active and engaging the community is. Brookdale does an amazing job organizing shows, games, activities, and special events that keep the residents involved, entertained, and social. There is always something fun going on, and it has truly helped him stay active and connected. The care and compassion shown by the staff have been exceptional. A special thank you to Executive Director Barbara Lavelle and Sales Manager Jackie Fiore, who both went above and beyond to make sure his transition into Brookdale was smooth and stress-free. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern for his well-being have meant so much to our family. They continue to look out for him and make sure he is happy, thriving, and healthy. My dad moved into Brookdale almost 2 years ago right after the passing of my mom. It was a very difficult and emotional time for him. I was very worried about how he might adapt to new surroundings. That worry was thankfully in vain. The staff immediately showed their empathy, warmth, and professionalism. They understood what he was going through and catered to his needs in every way. They assured me that my fears would dissolve and that he would adjust. He is so happy at Brookdale. There were two times that he ended up in Rehab. Every day he would tell me how much he couldn’t wait to get back to Brookdale. Once he got back there, he was so content. I couldn’t recommend a place more. The entire staff is wonderful, but I have to give a special shoutout to Barbara the director, Jackie and Elizabeth. I have reached out to them the most and they respond immediately. Thank you all. If you look into Brookdale, you really don’t have to look any further.

Assisted living is assisted living. Why does my F-I-L insist on being called "his highness"? Probably because of the level of care he receives and the extra mile that management and staff go for resident care and comfort. The managers are always available to speak with him or his daughters, no matter is too trivial for them to address. Transparency is the name of the game. Today is Saturday and Barbara, the director, is assisting "his highness" with hanging up his laundry.

Our dad moved into Brookdale in Monroe NJ in Feb and recently passed. We cannot say enough good things about the staff there and how they treated our dad and our family. From the beginning, our tour with Jackie to managers, the ladies at the front desk and the maintenance folks we could not ask for anything more. The memorial service they held for him touched us very deeply and we will be forever grateful to the them in giving him the respect and love till he passed. Thank you all sincerely!

My mother recently moved into Brookdale Monroe. The circumstances that led to her moving to assisted living were challenging and we were forced to scramble to find a good place for her to move very quickly. From our first visit until my mother was finally able to move in, Jackie did an awesome job of showing us around the facility, explaining how the community is set up and the levels of care available. Through every step of the process she made a very stressful situation as manageable as possible. When my mother was delayed in moving in due to medical complications Jackie checked in with me regularly to keep track of our situation. Kudos also to Barbara who was a pleasure to work with on the business side and Elizabeth is extremely thorough on the medical side. Although my mother has lived there for a very short time, I am very pleased with the level of care that she is receiving and the professionalism and compassion of the entire staff. I sleep better at night knowing that she in a safe and pleasant place.

Brookdale must have advertising money to waste.. I'm living at Monroe Village, also an assisted living community, but not a Brookdale community. Did they really think I'd move from one community to another?

At the Brookdale Monroe facility I found the most genuinely caring individuals who were understanding of my families struggles. After moving items in, health issues prevented mom’s move and we were met with a fair resolution. Even after giving notice that my mom would not be moving in, Jackie called to see how we were doing. Every time I stepped through the door I felt a sense of comfort and my only regret is that mom didn’t move sooner to enjoy all the facility had to offer.

My mother moved into Brookdale Monroe in May of 2023 when it became apparent she could no longer live on her own and lived there until this week when she passed away. The facility and the staff are superb. They helped both her and us as she declined ,enormously. They treat the residents with dignity and respect. They are always willing to help family members through difficult situations with their family member. If your family member needs to go into assisted living I highly recommend Brookdale Monroe.

My wife’s elderly sister passed away in Aug 2024 and we needed to find an assisted living for her husband Ed. We scheduled interviews at multiple facilities and Brookdale was our first to visit, long story short we never went any further. My wife, Ed and myself knew the moment we walked thru the doors this was going to be Ed’s new home. From Management to Medical to Dining Services to Maintenance they more than met our expectations and always makes our family feel welcome and well informed. Kudos to Barbara and her staff for maintaining a wonderful facility!!!

I can’t say enough about this place. My mother who is 88 lives here. She has special needs due to dementia. The care that the nurses have for the residents is amazing. Every time I went there there was always someone with my mother in her room. They have many activities and different outing everyday it changes. The building is very well maintained and clean. The landscape is beautiful and has nice paths to walk thru the flowers. I don’t have any regrets of having my mother here.

My husband was a resident at Brookdale Senior Living at Monroe Township, NJ for about six months. I would like to thank the staff for the care they've provided for my husband. They are knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate (except for one). Barbara (Executive Director), Elizabeth (Nursing Director), and Tavia (Activity Manger) provided us with excellent services and care. Tavia often went above and beyond to provide my husband with the best possible care. She updated me frequently on my husband's activities and progress. Thank you again, Barbara, Elizabeth and Tavia for your dedication and compassion.

My mom has been a resident of Brookdale since September last year, the entire staff is very kind and caring to the residents in Brookdale Monroe, the dining room does a phenomenal job, I have eaten there on occasion. Today was one for Father’s Day quite the feast they had! Filet mignon, and lobster and shrimp crab salad, bravo to the chef! The activities are lots of fun with Linda and Jamie, they keep the residence, smiling and busy, my mom personally loves them both’• I am going to post a few pictures from today’s delicious luncheon!

I recently went to Brookdale to visit my aunt. I was so impressed by the facility and staff. I had lunch with her and was blown away by the variety and quality of the food offered. Some of the best dining hall food I’ve had. The staff in the restaurant were wonderful and even came over to see how we were doing. I am happy to know my aunt is in good hands (and that they are feeding her well!).

After looking at several places for my sister who has dementia we found the place that made our family feel at ease knowing that she was in good hands. Having to make the decision to put a family member into a facility because you finally realize you are not capable to handle their needs is extremely hard. This review is strictly regarding the recent staff addition of TONI ANN WIDMAIER, who is the acting Clare Bridge Program Manager at Brookdale Monroe. Toni Ann has truly changed the quality of life for my grandmother and my family as a result of her dedication to providing the best possible care and does so with a positive attitude amidst the COVID19 pandemic. She checks in frequently with our family and safely facilitates photos, videos, and Facetime sessions during the shutdown to fill us in on my grandmother's heath and activities, which have increased in quantity and quality of participation from times prior. She has a way with managing recluse dementia and alzheimers patients and it really shows with how engaged and expressive my grandmother has become again since she joined the Brookdale Monroe team.
