Incredibly lovely personnel who really care about the residents and their families. I literally just moved my aunt in and she had to be sent to the hospital due to lack of care at her previous assisted living. They have been so helpful pointing me to the right resources and the right people to get her the help she needs.

I want the full staff to know that the care taker Ava is a true diamond of true compationate care. Our mom has been residing at west mark for 8 months now, and i have to commend the staff on the outstanding, compationate, patient care that Ava provides......Westmark i truly hope you recognize what a jewel you have in this employee ! Our Aunt Betty Became a resident at WestMark last Week. Everyone has been welcoming and helpful, Irene helped get her registered , Ross gave us an overview of the facility. Betty has had nothing but praises for the food and courtesy of all the employees. Irene gave her a great welcome and a dozen roses. That got her stay off to a great start. We thank you for welcoming our aunt so graciously and for taking care of her.

My Mom has had nothing but problems here. They let her meds run out she has gone with out them for up to 4 days. And Kimmy the one in charge of ordering them and making sure that the patients get them on time doesn't care she has been caught telling other med techs that oh well. Paying $4,800 a month

Since June of 2023, Old Bill, a friend of mine has lived at West Mark. I visit him three to five times a week, and have come to know most of the caretakers as caring and hard-working professionals. Bill often needs extra help as he cannot walk, and can barely stand up. Kimberly Singer, in particular, takes special care of Bill. I am grateful for all of them. I know Bill is in good hands.

Mom has been with WestMark over 6 months now. All staff has been attentive and kind. Kimmie and Jason have gone above and beyond dealing with medical concerns. Ross and Irene made Mom’s transition to assisted living smooth, and are always available to address any concerns. I visit sometimes as often as every few days, and the facility is always clean and bright.

Our family moved my mom into Westmark two months ago. It wasn’t an easy decision to take this step and to say I was nervous and apprehensive would be a huge understatement. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR WESTMARK. The team we’ve worked with has gone above and beyond anything I could’ve hoped for to help make the transition as smooth as possible for my mom and they have communicated with me continuously to help me also be comfortable with our decision. My mom has been in her apartment for two months now and I can honestly say that I’ve seen her smile more in the last two months than I have in the last two years. She has made friends with other residents and is participating in community events like bingo and they also just had a Halloween Social. The care and accommodation that Irene, Kimmie, and Ross have shown my mom and my family has been a godsend and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. I only have my mom left and she struggles with the cognitive and health challenges that so many of our aging family members face. The support and professionalism of the team at Westmark has helped make a very difficult time for our family a net positive experience and I am beyond grateful. Above all, my mom is thriving and truly seems to be happy. That’s everything for me. Thank you, Kimmie. Thank you, Irene. Thank you, Ross.

Three months ago our mom, who was still living in her home with help, went down when her legs gave out. While she was at a skilled nursing unit we realized she could not be at her home any longer. We contacted a close friend who has worked in social services her entire career and she told us she had the perfect place for our mom. She has known our mom for 60+ years and wanted what was best for her. Irene Hidalgo met me and my two siblings as we walked in. We also met Ross Christensen, the director. As Irene walked us through, we met various members of the WestMark family. I refer to them as family, as after two months, there are like our family. Irene had to tend to a matter and left us to look around. As we did, more family members greeted us and introduced themselves. They made us feel genuinely welcome. WestMark is a smaller facility and feels intimate, not overwhelming. It is very well maintained and kept very clean. Cat, in housekeeping does a great job and keeps you entertained. She is a character. Kimmie and Jason handle nursing and medical tasks and are on top of it. During the week, Carol manages the front desk and myriad other tasks. The food is wonderful. I speak from experience as I've dined with mom numerous times. The entire WestMark family is the best and mom is thriving as a result. Mom is 99 and requires their highest level of care, and she receives the highest level. If I needed assisted living, this is where I would be.

The facility is absolutely amazing. There are a few reasons why I chose this place for my relative. Irene and Kimmie. These 2 ladies are absolutely amazing and welcoming. They made me feel like family and have been a HUGE help with everything I've needed. If they were not available, Ross who is the director stepped in without hesitation. The rest of the staff is amazing as well, they have been warm and inviting and lovely to speak with all the time. I've been to many places with my elderly relatives and Westmark is more than top notch. This wonderful place is kept clean and in order. I recommend this wonderful facility to everyone! They do make you feel at home and like a member of the family.

I toured WestMark and found it to be a wonderful community and the director was so personable and accommodating. You could tell that the staff really served the residents well and it was friendly and fun. I am a hospice aide and visit patients in this facility. The staff they have in the locked unit is absolutely amazing! From the nurses to the aides, everyone is so friendly and willing to help with anything the patients need. They keep the patients in their care clean, happy and healthy. You can truly see the dedication the staff provides to each person in their care. They consistently go above and beyond for not only the patients but for families and 3rd party workers (such as myself). I am thoroughly impressed with this facility and would definitely recommend to anyone needing their services. Westmark is always my favorite stop of the day! Great job! Your hard work certainly does not go unnoticed.

My wife and I met with Irene and immediately knew this was the place for my mom. Her attention to detail and personality were absolutely amazing. She was intentional about explaining everything with us but didn’t try to make a sale. It was absolutely obvious that she was more interested in my mom’s wellbeing vs selling a room at the facility. My mom and I were supposed to tour earlier this month but suffered a severe stroke the day before our visit. Irene called to check on my mom and followed up with text messages to make sure she was doing better. At no point did she ask about if we were still interested in a room she just showed genuine concern. This spoke volumes about the type of establishment Westmark is. I’m looking forward to my mom making Westmark home knowing that they have a staff that will be there to support her in this new chapter of her life.

My mom has been in Memory Care at Bookdale Fred Road for several years. She loves the staff, and they truly care about her and make sure she is taken care of. Ross the GM is always available and helpful. A lot of stress and worry is taken of my mind knowing my mom is at this facility.

This place is clean & maintained well, it passed my 'sniff' test. It took some time for Mother to adjust, but now she has. The entire staff truly cares about their clients. I’ve enjoyed volunteering with Brookdale activities. My favorite it watching Martha the Activities Director encourage the entire staff to dress the part of whatever theme they have! And she brings a breath of fresh air to all the residents by keeping them engaged physically & mentally!

Staff is friendly and attentive. We often drop in unannounced at all hours and have been greeted kindly each time. The facility is very clean as well. My only grievance is that staff can be hard to reach during business hours and my calls/messages are never returned. I know the staff stays busy so it is understandable. Overall, it has been a wonderful facility for our family.
