From the moment you walk into Brookdale, you can tell it’s a warm and welcoming community. The staff is incredibly kind, caring, and always willing to help, and they genuinely make residents and visitors feel at home. The atmosphere is inviting, and it’s clear they take pride in creating a place where people feel comfortable and cared for. I always enjoy visiting and highly recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for a friendly, compassionate senior living community.
April 2026
My dad moved into Brookdale in July of last year, starting in Assisted Living and transitioning to Memory Care about five months later. Having worked in long-term care for most of my career, I understand how critical strong communication and compassionate care are. I have been very pleased with both. Any concern or suggestion I’ve brought forward has been addressed promptly and thoughtfully, which speaks volumes about the leadership and their commitment to residents and families. The staff have been consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. I’ve also noticed that most team members have been here since my dad first moved in”something that says a lot about how well staff are supported and, in turn, how well they care for residents. Now that my dad is in Memory Care, I am especially grateful for the training and compassion the team brings to supporting residents with dementia. Since retiring to spend more time with him, I’ve been able to see firsthand the patience, respect, and skill they bring to their work each day. When I can’t be with him, I have real peace of mind knowing he’s in good hands. I also appreciate the sense of community they create. Their monthly themed Family Nights are thoughtfully done and provide a meaningful way for families to connect and support one another. If I had to make this decision again, I would absolutely choose Brookdale. The people here truly feel like family.

Staff have been carrying and attentive to my parents since moving into Brookdale-WF in December 2025. They have addressed any wants or needs with promptness and kindness. Staff have longevity in this community and are very caring. They have a heart for this field and support for those who live at Brookdale and their families.

I want to thank everyone at Brookdale Wake Forest for all that they do to take care of my Aunt. She has been there for 5 years and I would not think of having her anywhere else.

Brookdale Wake Forest is a wonderful, home-like, loving Assisted Living & Memory Care Community. From when we first stepped foot in the door, we were treated like family and that hasn't changed! I definitely recommend Brookdale Wake Forest -- so much better than all of the other places we looked at and we couldn't be happier with our choice to move our relative here. From the beginning of the process with McKay all the way to the Executive Director, Allison .... this has been a top notch experience! Thank You ALL for what you do every day.

I’ve visited this facility quite a bit and I love it. The Business Office Manager Kenae is great!! Very professional, sweet and she’s loves her residents. If I had to recommend any senior living facility this is your go to.
March 2026
My 90 year old father came to live here after a fractured hip and progressive dementia. The Memory Care is just wonderful. My father is well looked after and gets the assistance he needs. The food is very good and all the staff are kind and caring. Brookdale is cozy and homey and a perfect fit for dad.

Great facility and McKenna is awesome
March 2026
I had a wonderful time at the community! Kenae Rice, Business Office Manager was able to answer all my questions and able to give me tour of the facility. Kenae was very personal with the residence, I love the way that she engaged with the residence.
July 2025
This place has been so disappointing. The cooked arrived after 9 this morning and the residents sat for well over an hour complaining. The trash at the front door is overflowing flowing. I asked the nurse about the trash and she said the the housekeeper hasn’t been there for two days. I’m not lying. The place smells. At the cost you would think that they would provide pads on the bed for incontinence. The family doesn’t come often so the resident just wets her bed continuously. This orange sliced water was made yesterday and left to sit overnight. It’s still there. The room upon arrival was dirty early this morning so when was it cleaned because trash and crumbs was all over. Client was in the bed asleep. Owner, stop being sorry on your comments and DO SOMETHING!!!! It starts and stops with you all day everyday!!!!!!!!!

Brookdale Wake Forest is highly recommended. The staff, the atmosphere and the community has exceeded our expectations. So happy we made this move for my mom who can now have quality of life.
February 2024
Note: This feedback is specific to Brookdale Wake Forest Memory Care (aka Clare Bridge) After a four year stay at Brookdale, we reluctantly moved my mom to a new facility after significant declines in nearly every aspect of services. Resident care by staff - met expectations Facility - recent renovation was superficial, growing concerns about maintenance of infrastructure, carpet soiled, unpleasant smells Business administration - poor Turnover of key personnel - high Cost - highest by far of the 12 alternatives evaluated prior to move

My family and I have our loved one residing at Brookdale Wake Forest. From the very first day of move in, there was a warm welcome from the residents and staff. Instantly we knew we had made the right decision. McKay in Sales, Sheri the Director and Brenda who works at the front desk are so helpful along the way. We are so happy with the care which is the most important thing to us. The three ladies mentioned go the extra mile to ensure Brookdale Wake Forest feels like home. We are very grateful.

My mother moved into Brookdale’s memory care in March and we couldn’t be more pleased. I want to thank McKay and Wilson for making the transition for my mother smooth and comforting. They answered every question and reassured us this was the right move for my mother and us as well. She is now doing very well and the staff does an outstanding job taking care of her and her needs. Thank you so much.™

What an amazing, caring and compassionate staff’–. Thank you McKay for all of your help!
August 2022
My parents moved here at the beginning of June. The rooms are comfortable and bright, but this can be said of any decent facility. What sets Brookdale apart is the staff. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and above all, friendly. From before they moved in the staff made them feel welcome. They not only know my parents' names but all of us kids as well. (There are 5 of us.) Also, they seem to be happy working there. I never once had someone tell me that they were too busy to answer a question or help with an issue. One parent is in memory care and one in assisted living and I am equally happy with both. Their patience is amazing. The only reason it gets a 4 instead of a 5 is the food; way too much fried and salty meals with few alternatives. It tastes great but I don't think it's the healthiest of menus, especially for the age group.
