The staff at Brookdale Broadmoor was truly a blessing for my elderly friend. They were extremely helpful and caring. I visited all the time and the staff and management worked hard to give the best care and love to the residents. The food could have been better. They did make an effort to find food my friend liked. One of the most caring staff and management I've ever encountered.

It gets quite traumatic to uproot oneself from home and habits to enter an assisted living facility. Kind of like moving to a new town. The good aspects of life here, though, can help ease the discomforts. You will adjust and can find interests to keep yourself sane, even happy. I have.

Direct service staff appear to genuinely care about the residents. Though the management team encourages communication from family members, only one of the management team members consistently responds to questions or concerns. Satisfied with the cleanliness there, but dissatisfied with communication with family. Poor follow up with what staff commits to.

Brookdale Broadmoor has done an amazing job taking care of the residents and keeping them safe during this Corona virus. They went into lock down at the facility quickly for the safety of the residents. They are working long and hard to ensure every day that all of the residents are well cared for, entertained and understood. The staff are some of the most kind and caring people I have ever run into. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Mom.

My wife and I moved here from Saudi Arabia 10 months ago, specifically so we could be close to my mother-in-law. We have spent time at this facility almost every day since we arrived. As one who ran multi-billion dollar programs, I can honestly say that the manager does a magnificent job of running the facility and ensuring the residents are respected and well cared for. The staff cares deeply for the residents and endures their many idiosyncrasies with patience and love. We are truly blessed to have our loved one be in this place.

Having had the opportunity of placing my mother in this facility for sometime i can only say that shanell moore the executive director and her staff treated her first class she loved the facility everything from her room the staff ,the food and their care for her they also provided entertainment on a daily schedule it was worth every cent so i recommend that if anybody finds themselves in the same in position as i did some time ago that this is the place to take your loved one.

My mother lived here for the last 3 years of her life, before she passed away 9 months ago. I still visit the residents and staff once a week, since her passing, because these people had become part of my mothers FAMILY. She felt comfortable and genuinely cared for by the staff and residents, even when she came back from the hospitals release into Hospes Care, for the last 9 months of her life. The leadership staff at B.B. will do what ever they can for your family member, within the limits they have been governed to by Brookdales LARGE CORPORATE OFFICE . It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY as the family member to go talk to the DIRECTOR to ensure your family member is receiving the care you deserve, if there is a problem. If you dont go talk to them and just complain online, SHAME ON YOU, thats your family member that you are not making sure that their needs and concerns are being met. The only reason I am not rating B.B. with 5 STARS, is because of their corporate rules, but even when i had a problem with the rules, I would go in and make noise until I got what I wanted. And the DIRECTOR would do everything she could until I was satisfied.

Brookdale has worked with me to make sure my loved one gets the care that she needs. The Health and Wellness Director has been very involved and always proactive in finding solutions to a range of health and behavioral issues that arise with dementia. The H&WD always has a solution for us for anything that has come up. She keeps the health and happiness of residents as her priority. Shes great with the residents and the family. She keeps me informed. I trust that my loved one is in good hands. Brookdale also has some really caring RAs here. They do a difficult job with love and kindness. Even the kitchen staff serves residents with smiles and care. The ED has solved what could have been a huge issue. I dont know how Id get through this journey without the help that Ive received here at Brookdale.
