My family moved our Mother to Our Home in August of 2024 after we were unhappy with other long term facility that our Mother was in. After visiting and interviewing ten different places, the choice was an easy one. Tara, Chelsea and McKenzie were very patient very our family as we very had many questions due to our very unpleasant prior experience. Our Home is very spacious and open so that natural light is allowed in. The residents are very happy there. When I was moving my Mom in there was a resident outside walking and she stopped me and said moving in or out. I said I’m moving my Mom in. The resident shared that she had been there for 3 weeks and that she loved it there. A completely, unprompted testimony from a resident made me feel better that we had made the right decision for our Mom. The food is excellent. The Dining Staff makes sure that they get to know the residents likes and dislikes and makes sure that they are eating. My husband and I and my Mother’s Clergy have even had meals there. They were very impressed. The Staff works with us to ensure that Mom is getting the best care possible. When my nephew was moving furniture into Mom’s room, he was impressed that the Front Desk Staff remembered his name and spoke to him as he was in and out of the building. He commented that the other place Mom was at never spoke to him or even knew his name even after 5 months. Katina promptly responds to emails and is great at communicating Mom’s schedules with all Staff. Upon move in, I was handed a sheet with phone numbers and emails for everyonefrom Greg, the Owner, each Director, the Nurses, etc. Our Home is truly a team with the family.

We moved my aunt into Our Home a couple of months ago. She is enjoying the community and is participating in the many activities offered each day. Our family moved my mother into Our Home New Albany nearly 2 years ago. She went from assisted living to memory care as her Dementia worsened. I can't imagine going through this with a better group of caregivers than those we have found at Our Home. The place is nice, but it's the people that make the difference. From Cindy and Laura doing activities to Tara, McKenzie and Frankie, then the nurses who show they care and the aides who just amaze me with how they work with the residents. Also, the nutritional meals prepared are a great extra benefit! Appreciate you all! (Front desk too!)

Our Home in New Albany was the perfect fit for my active Mother-in-law. We were so impressed with the staff, from Tara, who answered all of our questions about the facility, to McKenzie, who gently evaluated my Mother-in-law, and Jeff from maintenance, who assisted us as we moved her into her room and ensured she had everything she needed. The warm, welcoming environment was apparent the moment we walked in. The excellent staff of nurses and caregivers are there to help our mom as her needs change, giving my family peace of mind. We are thrilled that our beautiful mother is happy and active in her new home.

Our Home New Albany has been a wonderful "retirement apartment" for my father-in-law. The staff members, including Sindy, Diane, Tara, McKenzie, Laura, Chris and Lisa, are incredibly responsive to our questions and concerns, which gives me great peace of mind. My father-in-law is content, well-cared for, and he enjoys the food!

My Mom was diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimers about 4 years ago and it has been a slow decline. About 6 months ago we were looking for a facility that could provide day services and also a break for my Aunt, who is the primary caregiver. Our Home New Albany has been a perfect fit! Our Home New Albany offers a "Day Friends" program that has been amazing. Tara and the staff really know how to accomodate each individuals needs and requests. There are many phases to this disease and Our Home realizes there is not a "one size fits all" solution. It has been a great experience for our family, but most of all, Mom! I can't say enough about how beautiful and clean the property is too. The open floor plan makes the space feel very inviting and comfortable immediatly. As Mom progresses, I feel confident that Tara and the entire Our Home New Albany team will be able to provide professional advice, care, and compassion for our family and my Mom.

My Mom has been at Our Home since Feb24. She is very happy there. She likes the people, the food, the atmosphere, her ability to walk outside and her big window to a park like setting. I like the care and attention she and others get there. They are really focused on keeping the families involved with fun activities as well as quiet spaces to do puzzles or just share time with your loved one. I couldn't ask for a better place for my Mom.

We were hesitant to move our mother from her previous facility, but it was love at first sight for our mother when she walked through the doors of Our Home. She loved the openness, the wide hallways for her walks, her spacious room that held her queen size bed, love seat, table & tv as well as the friendly staff who were so kind to her. It was a unanimous yes for the family as well. We needed 24 hr. on site care, a strong resident to nurse/aide ratio, a lounging area for her to sit and enjoy the other residents, sufficient activities, good food, clean, clean smelling, and well maintained. Our Home met all of our immediate needs. We knew mom would eventually move to the Memory Care side. Once again, the Memory Care side was ideal. The transition plan to move our mother from Assited Living to the Memory Care side was a well-planned process. Moving our mother to Our Home was our best decision for all of us. Our entire family felt like we belonged.

We had to move our mom someplace safer than her home as she started to have memory issues. Not Alzheimer's and not really dementia officially, but short-term memory impairment, and we were afraid for her physical health (going up and down stairs, reaching high cabinets in the kitchen with a step-ladder, etc.). Our Home has great staff, wonderful support services (meals, PT, OT, in-house counselling, varying levels of assisted care as needed, events, etc.), the price is good, and for us, it is cozy and feels like a home, not an apartment complex. Plus, they have higher levels of memory care, including another facility locally with an Alzheimer's care wing, for if/when things get worse.

I'm happy to write a review about the great staff at Our Home. After my mother became ill and was hospitalized, we were faced with the difficult decision of finding an assisted living facility for her. After visiting several facilities, we were thankful to find Our Home. It is a beautiful, clean, and pleasant facility with amazing staff and great activities and music for the residents. The food is also excellent! I would like to acknowledge Tara McCoy for exceeding my expectations on helping me transition my mother to Our Home. She was there every step of the way and made the process seamless. I'm always greeted with a friendly smile from the receptionist, and Cathy has been great with her fun activities and warm personality. I would also like to acknowledge nurses Chris, Erika and Catherine who have been wonderful to her, and her PT and OT therapists have been awesome. I feel very blessed to have found Our Home, and I highly recommend it

The staff at Our Home New Albany are some very special people. My mother has been in Memory Care there for over a year. Early this past summer she fell in her room and broke two ribs. As soon as the staff found her, she was rushed to the ER at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's. She did return to Our Home later that day to rest and heal from her injury. The staff was phenomenal. They assisted her in every way possible. Mom does not like to be fussed over but the staff was so kind and caring. Unfortunately, mom ended up going back to the ER two more times within the next 10 days. Each time the staff was extremely helpful in assisting her walking and any movement. Mom was able to heal quickly with the extra care and concern from all of the Our Home staff. Our family is very appreciative of all the great care our mother receives from Our Home.

I cannot say enough about the staff at Our Home New Albany. We have had to move my mother to memory care recently, which is emotional and stressful. From the first tour to the move in- the staff made this transition as smooth as we could have hoped. The Community Relations Coordinator, McKenzie, has been an absolute dream letting us know how she has been doing. The executive chef, LeRon, remembered my mom’s likes and brought her a special dessert. It’s little details like this that make you feel that your loved one is in the right place. The floor staff have been attentive and caring day and night. I would recommend this facility to anyone and everyone. Top notch and very professional.

What a breath of fresh air! Such a beautiful community and their staff is amazing. McKenzie and Rebecca go out of their way to make sure you all needs are accommodated. Everyone is very attentive, caring and friendly. As soon as you walk in you are aware of the cleanliness and the warm and welcoming community. It definitely feels like home and would highly recommend.

Sadly, I had to move my wife into a memory care unit earlier this year. I believe I was lucky to find out about Our Home in New Albany. Walking into the facility, I could tell that attention to detail mattered here. Even waiting for a tour, I was greeted by numerous staff, wishing me a good morning. Management was helpful and knowledgeable about my situation. Constant review of the medication she was on. She has improved with the changes they recommended. Unfortunately, at this time, there is no cure for dementia. It doesn't much matter what Management says or how nice the facility looks if the staff doesn't live up to your expectations. We'll I'm here to say they exceeded my expectations. Looking out for the safety of my girl along with all the residents. Her quality of life is so much better with the care of the entire staff at Our Home.

I was impressed by what a lovely and inviting facility this is! Definitely a gem for Senior living! I attended a recent brunch and the food was beautifully presented, delicious and there was a singer providing entertainment. The attending residents mingled with their friends while receiving attentive service from the friendly staff. All in all it was a very enjoyable visit!

I travel to many different facilities for work, and this one is an hour away from home for me, but is worth the drive. It is the cleanest and nicest facility I have worked in. Staff was also very helpful & very engaged with the residents. I was impressed.

Feel like home when you walk thru the door. Gorgeous building with big common areas for residents to gather for the many fun activities that go on thru the week. Wonderful staff from the front desk of the behind the scenes, care partners and nurses, chefs and servers always there to greet for meals as soon as you walk into the dining area and even Erica the laundry lady always has a smile on her face. Building currently being renovated with wonderful updated rooms but still very quiet and laid back atmosphere. Wonderful place to stay for a short stay or to live out the rest of your life!

My mother has been in the memory care unit for almost 3 years. The care is exceptional. There is very low turnover of staff, they are very caring, and have loving hearts. The facility is clean and very well maintained, and the food is excellent. I cannot image my mother being at a better place.
