I moved my Mother at age 94 (with short term memory loss) into Sunrise Assisted Living where she spent the last (nearly) 3 yrs of her life. A friend of mine was at Sunrise several years before we moved Mother there and I felt Mother would like the more home-like facilities with lots of windows. We were very pleased with the professional, friendly and caring staff that helped Mother. The Weston Group provides in-house physical and occupational therapy. They were able to keep Mother walking and out of her wheel chair for all but the last few months of her life. Many thanks to Sunrise and the Weston Group for all their efforts.

We selected to move my dad to Sunrise. The place feels like a cozy home rather than a facility. It is beautifully decorated with many amenities and daily activities for their residents. The daily menu has a wide option of choices and the food is excellent and prepared in-house. Most of all the care team is highly trained. The staff plan a wide range of activities for residents and their family members. One new event was a renewal of vows for couples at the facility. The event was well planned and beautifully executed complete with flowers and wedding cake. Two flower girls greated the couples and many of the residents participated in the celebration.

I work with a client here outside Sunrise and I must say the food is good the staff is sweet especially Sam the server Edith the housekeeper and Angela RN a super sweetie. Those in charge are always smiling and welcoming like Fatima and Lisa just good hearted people and plenty more just don't recall thier names. They have bingo and games everyday hydration routines they present special article in the morning that's informative with a crossword or puzzle in it is that days programs like exercising or a movie just awesome from pumkin painting to football lil partys good music these are stimulating fun events they hold the staff is amazing upbeat great people. They are always popping yummy popcorn it's a good place my honest opinion and I come here everyday for my client who loves his meals especially desertes. That chef Alma is top notch. ‘

When touring this community, the staff was attentive to residents needs and the community was very clean without any smells. I was greeted and welcomed by the floor staff and that made me feel comfortable and accepted, where at some other places when touring, floor staff ignored me as I toured. She provides excellent programs for her residents. Keeps them active and most importantly, happy! Executive Director Lisa, runs a tight and professional ship and under her guidance, everything seems to flow beautifully. Beautifully remodeled place done by Coastal Reconstruction. We thank the E.D.. and staff for working with us to complete this project in a timely matter, and helping with the residents to ensure they were aware of construction details and procedures.

Sunrise has been an absolutely wonderful place for my mother. She has improved by 100% in just 4 months. The quality of care and food is outstanding. In addition the OT and PT on site as well as medical appointments and subscriptions all being handled on site has been a significant help. The continued evaluation on a monthly basis by Fatima has been key to her physical and mental improvement. Sunrise helped us get moved in and has been so fair in billing and affordable solutions to help us. So many other benefits there including nursing, care givers and cosmetic care all on site. Most important is everyone seems to really care and are very nice.

unprofessional staff member in terrace club. She has a plaque in her office that says "boss babe". This sign is sexist and rude to her staff. This sort of sign is not appropriate in a professional setting. This staff member also asked my mother (who has dementia) what her wishes are for care decisions. My mother already completed healthcare directives so why ask my mother? Very unprofessional.
