Westmont was 1 of 14 ALF's I visited. I appreciated the visits I had with Hannah, Community Relations Director, who was nothing but a professional with lots of knowledge regarding ALF's and possible funding options. The memory facility is a unique, friendly setting. It is unfortunate I went in a different direction based on family circumstances but would definitely consider Westmont in the future, if the need arises.

We had a very positive experience at Westmont. Hannah was extremely professional and efficient in answering our questions and following up with requested information. The staff was friendly and caring. Shout out to Chef Linda, who came down to my father’s room to chat about his preferences, and how she could meet his needs. Susannah was very accommodating. She was sincere and caring. The staff was also very nice to my mother, brother, sister, and me, as we visited often.

Unfortunately, the day we toured Hannah wasn’t available, however, we received a tour with Kyle and Ben even tagged along. Kyle was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions. We really liked the building and all that was offered to the residents. We have not decided yet but it’s definitely at the top of the places we toured.

The staff here are fantastic people. My aunt lived here for a year following a stroke and I couldn't have picked a better place to bring her. She made friends, had a safe and stable place to recover, and was surrounded by staff that supported her with all her various questions & needs. I wish I could give Westmont of Fresno a higher rating, but unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience. The two stars are solely for the facility itself. The building is beautiful, very well maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. The grounds are lovely, and their memory care unit offers a generous amount of space for residents. If my review were based on appearance alone, it would be five stars. However, that is where my compliments end. We have been searching for a memory care facility for my father, and with his discharge from a skilled nursing facility approaching, we were feeling the pressure to secure a placement. My first visit to Westmont was discouraging. No one was available to give a tour, and the front desk staff was extremely unfriendly. I was told that tours only happen on weekdays between 9am-5pm and that most people take the day off work to do them. When I asked for a pamphlet or business card, they had nothing to give me. On our second visit, midday on a Thursday, we again encountered unprofessional front desk staff. Two receptionists were chatting, and one was practically laying across the counter, barely acknowledging me. They seemed annoyed that I needed help. Again, the person responsible for tours was not there despite it being within the hours they had previously insisted on. The maintenance director ultimately met with us, and while that was unexpected, he was great, very kind, informative, and gave a great tour. The memory care unit itself looked well-kept, so we decided to move forward. I spoke with their Community Relations Director, completed paperwork, and provided our credit card for the refundable $500 deposit to reserve a spot. We were told there were two spots available and four families trying to secure them, so we pushed hard to get everything done quickly. The skilled nursing facility’s social services manager moved mountains to complete the necessary documentation within days, and Westmont even came out to do the care assessment. And thennothing. No updates, returned calls, or responses to emails. Eventually, the social services manager was told that Westmont would not be accepting my father. She requested a reevaluation because the notes did not match his diagnosis, suggesting there had been a mix-up, but Westmont ignored her as well. I made MULTIPLE attempts to contact their Community Relations Director and never received a single reply. Not even a courtesy call after taking our deposit (which they stated was refundable, but no one communicated the process for that either). Regardless of the reason, whether the spot went to someone else or they determined he wasn’t a fit, the professional and compassionate thing to do would have been to communicate that directly to us. Being ignored after we completed all the steps they asked of us was incredibly unprofessional and disheartening. For a facility of this size, I truly hope this was an isolated incident. This experience made it very clear that Westmont is not a place I could ever trust with my father’s care. That said, I believe things worked out exactly as they were meant to. The next place we toured was Paintbrush Assisted Living and Memory Care, and it has been the perfect home for my father. Their Community Relations Director, Reuben, was warm and helpful from the start, and their Memory Care Director, Traci, is an absolute angel. They treat us like family, and I feel my father is in the best hands.

After observing and interacting with staff and residents during the three days I was getting my Aunt's room set up and getting her settled, I was ready to get my name on a waiting list (several years down the road). Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the residents were in good humor. The care my Aunt has received during her "getting-settled" stage certainly put all of the family at ease. It was wonderful to come visit and find my Aunt socializing with her new-found friends.

My sister and I looked at five places to move my mom. We were looking for a place for my mom to thrive, not die. She has memory issues, but she is still very social. Finding the right place for her and her little dog was our primary focus. The moment we walked into Westmont, we felt a different vibe. The residents were laughing and having fun, talking with one another. Ladies sitting outside with their little dogs. It was very lively and welcoming. We met with Hannah, received the most information we had received from any of the previous places, and viewed rooms. My sister and I walked out knowing that that was for the place for mom. Fast-forward a few weeks and my mom is living at Westmont. She is absolutely THRIVING. I have not seen my mom this happy in years. She’s participating in the numerous activities, enjoying the food, and we know she is safe and cared for. The staff is amazing, so helpful and queued into what my mom needs. Nursing staff, led by Susanna, has been fantastic. Maintenance, led by Kyle, has been exceptional.He went out of his way to get something fixed in a very timely manner. The chef personally met with my mom. He and his team are fantastic. We do not have one single complaint and neither does my mom. Thank you, Westmont team, our family is happy!

I've been in the elder care business, and so have experienced both good and poor services. Westmont by far exceeds my expectations! We had only a weekend to find a place for memory care for a dear friend, and they helped us tremendously very step of the way. Their expertise, professionalism, and facility is surpassed only by thir compassion and kindness. I can not reccomend this facility highly enough. I wish I could give them 50 stars!

Moved my mother here recently from another facility that was really going down hill. The move in was a breeze. The staff is so attentive. I see staff everywhere. I have not gone there and not seen caring and attentive staff. 100% different from other Facility where no one cared and there was always a staff shortage. Westmont staff check on her daily. I feel more comfortable now leaving the area for vacation and weekend getaways. Highly recommend. The food is also a whole lot better. I will even eat there, which says a lot since I would never eat at the other location. The care and maintenance of the building and grounds are top notch. Lovely amenities. Very happy so far.

Recommend Westmont Senior Living We moved our mother into Westmont Senior Living in Fresno, in late February, and it has truly been a wonderful experience. She absolutely loves it there. From the beginning, the other residents were incredibly welcoming”many of them have become good friends, which has made her transition so much smoother and more joyful. She’s actively involved in daily activities, especially enjoying the morning walks, exercise classes, and the opportunity to socialize during meals and community events. It’s been heartening to see her so engaged and thriving in such a vibrant, supportive environment. All of the staff I met on our tours and meetings were very helpful kind and knowledgeable. I initially spoke to Hannah and she was so kind and answered most of my questions before I asked. The community is lovely without being overwhelming. The staff at Westmont is outstanding—responsive, accommodating, and genuinely caring. I especially appreciate working with Hannah, who has been incredibly helpful throughout the process. We moved our mother to Westmont about a month ago after she had been living alone in her home. After just a couple of days of adjustment, she expressed how happy she is there. She’s engaged in many of the activities, with a particular love for the morning walks, exercise classes, and socializing with friends during meals and events. We visited Westmont a few times and totally pleased with the environment and the staff. My husband’s mother is going to reside there once we get her moved down from Oregon. She also had the opportunity to visit a few places with us and when she visited Westmont she smiled and said how beautiful it is. Hannah has been great in helping us with all the paperwork and helping us through this move. She included my Mother in Law in all the conversations. The staff we have met and the residents are positive about working and living there. The food looks delicious and it’s nice to hear all the chatter from the residents at meal time. There are lots of activities to be involved in and social events. We are excited for this move for my Mother in Law since she will be close to us, her grandkids and great grandkids. It will be a wonderful place for her as she is getting older. Westmont has been beyond wonderful to my family. We moved my precious aunt in a couple of months ago. I wish we would have made the decision to be with Westmont sooner. Her room is lovely. The hallways have a fresh smell in them. The entire staff is kind and caring. They have a variety of activities and even fun field trips like Candy Cane Lane. The food! Yum! We eat there with my aunt so much because the food is so delicious. There’s an everyday menu but the chef prepares many different choices daily. When we met with Hannah, I was a mess emotionally trying to find a safe and loving place for my aunt. Mother was very happy here Kudos to the dining staff who always had her favorite breakfast ready. The medical staff made it a point to keep me up to date with any concerns. They were very observant and on top of her care. I could not be happier with the Med Techs! Although mom passed away, She said that she felt the staff really cared about her and it is a blessing that I saw her feel save and happy in her final year. THANK YOU EVERYONE at Westmont.

This facility is amazing. I don’t know where to start. The customer service is remarkable and that may sound silly to Some but unfortunately we live in a society where customer service is a thing of the past however, at this facility it is impeccable. I get greeted with a smile, the ladies that work upfront, show me such care if you are looking to put your loved one in a building that shows love and compassion to your family member this is the place to be. They treat your loved one as if it’s their loved one. That’s not even discussing the food the activities and they partner up with amazing companies , such as St. Mary’s home health, hospice, and pharmacy to come in and do activities with the residence So if you are in a tough spot and you don’t know where to put your loved one this is the place to go. The Administrator alone. His name is Eddie phenomenal man and you could tell his employees absolutely adore him.

Westmont of Fresno is a home atmosphere without being formal. The staff are friendly and kind. They greet with good mornings and check to see if they will see you at the next meal seating. Repairs were handled quickly and maintenance staff were willing to help hang the odd piece of art when asked for help. Staff would visit and comment on interesting art or events seen and happening. And the Chef, which means the meals, were excellent, varied and fresh daily. If you need that extra support for those activities of daily living, do check out Westmont of Fresno, take a walk-about, have lunch or dinner, you’ll be glad you gave them a look.

My sister is a resident at Westmont of Fresno. Both of us are so pleased with the facility from the fist walkthru with Thomas in Sales. We have been involved with several assisted living facilities in Fresno area for the last 12 years for both our parents and now my sister. This is by far the most professionally run facility and has the friendliest staff. I have spent 30+ years in management leading staff of all types and am quite picky! The Director Eddie is so hands on and is a great example on how to lead a staff and run an amazing facility. The events are well run and thought out as to different activies for all interests. The food is wonderful with great selections which work well for my sister. She has never been so happy which is I believe what any family member wants for their loved ones. UPDATE! The follow up we’ve received is by far the most professional! Not pushy! This has to be because of great management. Thank you Westmont. Although my mother is not a fit for Westmont of Fresno at this time, I know for sure, that when the time comes we will move mom here. The staff that greeted us was friendly, the tour we received made us feel like home, not like a sales pitch. I LOVED how at every meal they have a presentation of what is being served, and the cleanliness of the place is impeccable. I was looking for a few different facilities for my grandma. Eddie Rangel and the Westmont staff were very friendly and the community had a lot of activities to offer. I spoke to several residents when I was there, and they all enjoyed living there. My grandmother has been there for a while now, and is very happy we picked this spot. I visited the community over the weekend. I have a few friends who live at westmont. They are happy with the care they are receiving and staff who take care of them. The community is looks great. I will recommend more friends to live here. The best care and good place!!!!

My mother has been here for over 5 years and I thoroughly enjoy visiting every day. I’ve befriended quite a few residents here and staff and have to say that Kyle, the maintenance director, is a great guy, he’s responsive, friendly and professional. I’m happy with Westmont of Fresno and have peace of mind knowing my mother is cared for.

My parents were blessed to live at Westmont. We loved it there! From housekeeping to restaurant servers, nursing assistants to maintenance, sales to management, I was greeted and honestly, they became like a family to me. The dining room workers went above and beyond to serve my mother’s special vegetarian diet. Veronica was amazing! We worked with Jessica when we toured. I was so taken with her smile, kindness, knowledge, and willingness to help in any way possible. I will add that my parents thought it was the best food served in any retirement living situation. Also, the residents living there are just wonderful: Westmont is a quaint, sweet community. I highly recommend it!

I want to thank Wesmont of Fresno for being a pillar in our community. Not only are they caring for our parents and grandparents but also the children in our community. They donated waters and gatorade to our shoe drive that took place outside on one of the hottest days of year. Thank you so much Westmont!

This is such a beautiful place, my aunt moved in a month ago and the community really helped with the transition. The care team is amazing, Nancy the nurse was extremely helpful and we've never had issues with care. Everyone has been so welcoming and the management is amazing!

Just moved my 91 year old grandmother into Westmont and we couldn't be happier. They made the process an easy transition for her and the entire family. Brandon and Jessica went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready for her arrival and greeted her with genuine smiles- they were so helpful and welcoming! We were able to select an apartment that best fit her needs and the various amounts of community activities that they hold allows my grandmother to still be sociable and make friends. We have see her thrive so much and display such a huge improvement since she has been staying there. Definitely know like Westmont was the best decision for her and would highly recommend the facility and their staff!

I've provided my moving labor services to a few of the residents at Westmont proof of vaccination and a mask is mandatory as well as temperature check. I was lucky enough to work with a staff member named Nancy Anderson, She was professional, friendly, and answered all my questions. The residents were nice as were the other staff members. Lovely facility. Hope to be back soon.

This place is horrible. No one to call after hours since they have one worker on for every 100 residents. Supervisor Olaf is never around to take calls. Meals are slop especially dinner!

I'm not sure how that's community would have received a negative review. My precious grandma lived in this community for about three years. She started in the assisted-living side and when she required more care we were lovingly made aware of documentation of new behaviors indicating that she was in need of more care. This allowed us as a family to make the decision to move her to the memory care side. The staff, even with changes, continued to show loving care, support, and sincere personal interest. Many staff members mourned with me when she passed away. My family and I have nothing to say but good regarding Cottonwood Court, it's community, and the company standard that they are held to.

This community is AMAZING. The Executive Director Polly Stacy is the nicest woman in the industry. She truly loves the residents as if they are her family. She holds her staff to high standards. This is a 5 star community!
