I have visited Legacy Ridge multiple times every week and interacted with Devon Gunn on multiple occasions when she is working with seniors in the Memory Care section. She is always professional, courteous and very, very innovative. She comes up with fun, educational and immersive experiences for seniors and treats everyone with dignity and respect. I am happy that she is the one providing these experiences for my loved one. SHE IS AWESOME!!!

Devon, the Lifestyles Director is awesome! It is comforting to know that my dad is cared about! He participates in fun activities and my family and I are able to see him smile through photos of the activities. My dad was apprehensive about living away from home, but he has come to settle in quite nicely. I attribute this to Legacy Ridge’s nice atmosphere, particularly Miss Devon’s genuine care for the residents there. My dad actually refers to her as his niece, definitely a sign that he feels safe and seen. Thank you Legacy Ridge AND Thank you Devon! You are a Godsend!

My parents have lived in memory care at Legacy Ridge Marietta since the pandemic and my mother is still there since dad’s passing last year. The facility is quite nice and very clean. Everyone there has been so warm and friendly with our family and especially with my mother. She couldn’t be happier there.

I absolutely love this place and the staff. The environment is so homey. The decor and the setup is beautiful. I love that the staff know the residents on a first name basis and also know their likes/dislikes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is freshly prepared and made with love. The dinning room gives you restaurant vibed and the residents love it. The decorate for all holidays and have a lot of activities as well. I highly recommend this place.

I toured this facility a week or so ago. I've been exposed to assisted living facilities for the past 7 years with a family member. I highly recommend visiting Legacy should you need a facility for a loved one or someone else you know. The facility is beautiful and extremely well-maintained. If I hadn't been able to work out keeping my family member where she is Legacy would have been my choice without hesitation.

I posted a glowing review over a year ago, but my opinion changed. Once Legacy Ridge was owned by Atlas for a while, it deteriorated. I moved my mother to another place and her care - medical and personal - has been so much better. My mom was over medicated at Legacy Ridge. Once the new place adjusted her meds, she began feeding herself again. She stopped sleeping in her wheelchair all day. Legacy had begun putting her to bed at 6 pm at night. They had stopped putting her on a toilet and she no longer walked. The new place has her walking again for little short periods with assistance. They place her on the toilet and she can use it sometimes. Even though Covid was a problem with visitors at both places, the new place had activities for memory care. I never saw one thing go on in the way of an activity at Legacy Ridge. The new place brings in a therapy dog, a bunny, and musical entertainment that involves the residents. They’ve purchases an activity blanket that gives my mom something to do with her hands. Her clothes are laundered better. Her room is cleaner and she is cleaner. I thought Legacy was a decent place until I experienced that there is something better. I highly recommend Greenwood Place in Marietta. My mom, with advanced Alzheimer’s, lost her frown and began smiling again. Two days there and her face changed to a relaxed expression. That told me all I needed to know.

Adam and his team were wonderful to work with. Dad was here about 8 months the care he received was exceptional. There are some really wonderful residents as well. He had made some very caring friends. A few bumps in the road but all handled promptly covid played a major roll and they marched on through and did a great job. Hats off to everyone!

Our mom has been in assisted living here for one and a half years. We've been pleased as has she. Our dad was also at Legacy Ridge in memory care, and we were pleased with his care as well. The staff is caring and attentive as is the director, Adam Taylor. We visited several alf's in east Cobb before making a decision, and Legacy Ridge was the best fit for our family.

The facility, the associates, the management, just the complete team has been the best most caring, kind, supportive, loving people who I and my brothers are so grateful for. Covid-19 is and has been horrible for a lot of families ours included. Knowing that Dad is safe and well cared for is one thing we don't have to worry about. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

The management, sales and care team are caring , professional , attentive, personable and super helpful in transitiioning our father into Legacy Ridge Marietta in a short amount of time. It was a stressful time for our family and COVID made it even harder. The team at Legacy Ridge partnered with us during this stressful time in helping get my dad settled into his new home. The facility has been refurbished and redecorated. It is quaint and tastefully done. We highly recommend Legacy Ridge Marietta!

So if I was posting this review 2 plus years ago, i would not be so kind. This property has changed hands and the new owners have made so many new changes and improvements in the last year or so. They have completely update the property from the inside out, new paint, new flooring, new fixtures, new art work and so on. What a delight it is to walking in to this facility now. Adam Taylor (The Executive Director) has had his hands full. Going through the sale process and then doing major renovations to the property after it changes hands. I know this is tough work and I must say he has done a great job over all. They have improved greatly when it comes to their staff and developed a much stronger team to take care of these senior's. I just want to say Thank You. My father has been there almost 3 years and this is not an easy process to watch a loved one or parent go through. Thank you for being there and looking after my father. It truly means a lot to me.

My mother has been at this facility in the memory care unit for over 2 years. Placing her was the hardest decision I have ever made and there isn’t a day that I wish I could keep her home with me. That said, if mom can’t be with me (and knowing that no one is going to love her or care for her the way I do) the team at Alto really works hard at making sure both of our needs are met. Not only do they call and let me know if there is a problem, they call and let me know if mom is having a cognizant moment or a good day. When problems arise management handles issues promptly, to the point of even coming in during off hours to correct them. I feel that the management team and caregivers are an extended unit of my family. Adam, the administrator, has been really helpful during this transition and always listens to my seemingly endless woes of guilt and financial stress (Alto isn’t inexpensive but I’ve looked at inexpensive and no thank you!) I am always greeted by name with smiles and always at some point every staff member has a story to share about mom, which lets me know they have spent time in some capacity with her. In 2 years I can honestly say the building smelled unpleasant only once. (And I am there at the very least 4 times weekly) Lost clothing? Occasionally. Room not as clean as I like? Sometimes. Food not correct? Never with mom, even though I am certain it happens. Realistically errors happen, it’s how they are handled that matters. Every issue we have had has had a positive outcome. I wish there were more activities for the residents in memory care. I wish care giver turn over was not as high. But overall, I know my mother is getting consistently good, quality care by people that care about her. I would, and have, highly recommended Alto to other friends facing placement for their loved one.
