My mother has had a return to The Gardens since her previous stay. This time is just as positive as before. The staff seem to truly care and are great with mom. They try to keep her spirits up, recognize if there is an issue, and keep family informed. The staff and the transport driver are awesome. Mom does have several favorites so I cannot note them all. Thank you for being so caring with my mom. Just know, Loretta loves you all and we love how well you care for our sweet mom!

The Gardens is a very nice place. The nursing staff and CNAs are all very friendly and helpful. The food is great as well. If you have a loved one who needs a place to be, either temporarily or permanently, I would highly recommend The Gardens. My husband is in skilled nursing. Staff is MUCH better than another facility he was in last year.

Played for the first time this year at their Fall Festival. Very impressed. Super staff, friendly, hospitable & caring. The food was just as awesome! And unlimited ice cream?? GET OUT!!! An enjoyable, festive memory for me. 5 STARS by far! Looking forward to returning. . TM

The caring staff at The Gardens of Cedar Rapids takes very good care of my father, who needs to be in memory care at this stage of his life. Dad is very comfortable and his overall health has improved since he has lived here. He is happy and always involved in the various activities. The facility is clean, relatively new, and well-maintained. A plus is having an on-staff nurse and regular visits by a UnityPoint Nurse Practitioner and a Physician. The staff knows me and is always responsive. I am very satisfied and recommend The Gardens to anyone needing to take good care of their elderly loved one. Clay Norris

Staff was prompt when answering call button. Everyone encountered was friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing and truly cared about the residents. Meals were good. Would recommend!

A prime example of trying to do too much with too little. The people are great and work hard but they're just isn't enough to go around and the quantity and quality of the services lack because of that.
