Facility is beautiful. Close to my home and very thankful for that. She had a caring on the go personality, and made some friends. Mom moved from living alone in a house to Traditions at age 90. A fall somewhat forced the move because of safety. Mom was in independent care for 1.5 years. Apt very nice, housekeeping below average and food below average. This appeared to be because admin could not keep good workers. Mom lived the last 6 months in dependent living, which was very disappointing. We experienced major concerns with trusting nursing staff and care givers. Getting meds correct was an ongoing issue & very concerning. I had to monitor and follow up daily. I think nurses were LPN & higher certificates. Some caregivers were caring and trustworthy, but some were very concerning. Communication, organization, and responsibilities were weak. Again, appeared to be admin issue. Caregivers had no required certificate training and were allowed to learn by shadowing. Most Nurses did not seem to stay with the company for long. In 6 months we saw several come and go. Housekeeping was weak, if at all. Admin seemed unable to keep housekeepers. We had to put in several request to get floor and bathroom cleaned. Food continued to be poor. The front desk receptionists were always exceptional and could have run the program. They helped the residents so much and with caring hearts. The bookkeeper had solid communication when I reached out. The activities director was caring and enjoyed the residents as they did her. They did have good activities for the tenants. The bus driver was caring and the maintenance guy was caring and worked hard. When my mom passed away, I informed the main admin. I never heard one word of condolences but apt was being painted before end of lease. Spoke volumes to me. A man named Steve was director when we moved Mom in. He was exceptional on every level of administration. He was troubleshooting so many various levels of needs and his communication with the residents and families was top notch. Not sure when he began, but he had another offer come his way approx 4 months after she moved in. Wasn’t the same after he left. Not sure my Mom ever saw or met new admin. Again, very disappointing. Family heard little communication. The price is high. This expectations of Traditions should be high. Independent living was okay, but Dependent living was not acceptable, and unless it’s changed, I do not recommend it. One problem I’ve now realized is that going from Independent to dependent in the same facility is an easy move and is what residents and families expect. When moving to dependent, keeping residents in similar environments is crucially important. Before initial move, I now realize I should have closely reviewed independent, which I did, BUT I should have also reviewed dependent living. My mom has been away from Traditions for 2 months. I hope this gives you some ideas as to how to research. Remember , asking family members of residents is important.

This place is absolutely amazing. They have a wonderful team and don't get me start on the executive director!!! I have had my mom in here over two years. The community did go through some changes her first year there but has now had the same management team for a year now. They are very good and work hard for the residents. The staff is kind. Mom was not social for a long time which was a big part of why we moved her. She now has several close friends who look over each other. It’s a beautiful building and great location. She loves her spacious apartment too.

My parents recently relocated from NYC to Traditions of Mill Creek. My Mom has alzheimer's and my Dad had been her faithful caregiver for more than a decade. When it was time for them to go down a different path and move closer to me and my family I undertook the daunting task of finding them their forever home. From the moment I stepped into Traditions of Mill Creek I knew I had found their place! The staff is so friendly and kind. The facility is well kept and the smells coming from the dining rooms are always divine!! They offered great independent living apartments for Dad and a safe and nurturing memory care unit for Mom. It's been 2 months now and they are both settled and thriving! Kudos to Suzanne and all the staff at Traditions of Mill Creek for making what could have been a very difficult transition seamless!!

I have been in this facility many times. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Everything is SO clean, bright and cheery; lots of activities! Comfort Keepers is proud to be associated with Traditions and happy to come in and serve any clients that may need a little extra help, even if it is temporary.

Where to start? For the past several years, I have mentioned to several family members that Traditions would be where our parents needed to go if/when the time came… Well, it came rather abruptly early February. The wonderful, caring staff somehow made it possible to get our father moved/ settled rather quickly there (our mother came a week and half later, after a short hospital stay). It was deeply comforting knowing both were well taken care of , from the start, which greatly eased our minds! It eased their minds as well! After 3 months, we all are still very content & satisfied with Traditions - especially their caring staff throughout. Whenever we go visit, there s smiles all around…it is like a community there. We know the staff do care and try their best to make all residents happy and content. Thank you.

We were confident that we had the perfect location for my MIL and we were right. This is a new, modern and very clean facility with great resident services; we only utilized Memory Care. Our loved one lived here for 3 years and while we certainly saw far too many management changes and some really disappointing staff/leadership decisions over the years, my MIL lived her best life compared to the four years previous to Traditions when she was in family care. Through all the staff changes (the only really disappointing thing there), mom remained well cared for, clean, busy and as healthy as someone with dementia can be. Memory care is small, the rooms and bathroom is spacious and there is a small courtyard exclusive to memory care that allows for a lot of natural light. When it came time for a higher level of care, Lisa was instrumental in helping us secure the right spot for mom in a skilled nursing facility. Being a caregiver is hard and the guilt of placing a loved one is real, but I promise they and you will do better together when they've gotten into a place like Traditions where they are safe and well cared for. We truly appreciated the time we had there.

Lisa went above and beyond to help our family get settled after a sudden decline in health of our step father. She was kind and patient to our parents and took the time to call us and walk us through things while we were out of town. The facility is very nice and will make a comfortable home for your loved one. Our family member had to go into skilled nursing, and Lisa kept in touch with us the entire time and let us know the steps we would need to take to move him from Independent living to Assisted living. They do a wonderful presentation for the family and a tour that impressed a man who very much had not liked any of the other many places that fit his income requirements.

Suzanne, Lisa, Sonia, and team are the best of the best and provide the highest caliber of attention and care to all residents in the Mill Creek family. Highly recommend this community, as it is the best in all of Brentwood.

My family recently toured this facility and at first I was skeptical due to some past reviews. I wanted to take the time to express how blown away I was during this entire experience. From the moment we stepped foot in the door the hospitality and feeling of "home" was radiating throughout! The sales manager was knowledgeable professional and compassionate from start to finish. The management team is all new to the community (seasoned with experience) and it showed! The staff was pleasant and welcomed us while touring the building and offering us refreshments. My family and I are certain we have found my Grandmother's home sweet home.

If you're searching for an assisted living or memory care facility for your loved one, look no further. My mother has been a resident here for almost a year now, and I've had the opportunity to meet with her caregivers and the director of nursing. Thanks to Sonia's efforts, my mother has been able to shower, eat, and participate in activities outside of her apartment. Convincing her to do these things can be quite challenging in her golden years, so I greatly appreciate the care and attention she receives. I want to express my satisfaction with the positive changes the company has made and how grateful we are to have someone who cares for my mother as much as we do. Mill Creek, you made an excellent decision in bringing Sonia on board.

I would like to extend my personal gratitude to the staff at Traditions of Mill Creek. My family and I had numerous inquiries regarding finding a suitable placement for my grandmother when she relocates from Texas to Brentwood. Since we live just down the street from the facility, we decided to drop by. The staff (Suzanne, Sonia & Lisa) kindly assisted us in understanding the entire process, from start to finish. Unfortunately, my grandmother has been diagnosed with dementia, and we are aware that she will require closer proximity to her immediate family. When she moves here, we will definitely be entrusting Grandma to their care. I highly recommend that anyone faced with the decision of moving a loved one or themselves into assisted living or memory care reach out to Traditions of Mill Creek. The warm welcome, radiating spirit and extensive knowledge in the process are truly commendable for everyone who has been helping us.

Talk about bad timing! I moved to Traditions back in March from Texas.Even with the pandemic, we have things to do such as games,crafts,& socials all done with proper safety procedures & social distancing. The food is exceptional! Our chef &staff go out of their way to create amazing meals! The staff is so friendly and helpful! This is home now and I couldnt be happier! Thank you Traditions for everything you have done to ease our minds during this difficult time!

My husbands family moved their Mom into the assisted living area a couple of weeks ago. The entire staff has been very helpful and attentive throughout the process. The facility is very clean and well laid out for meetings and activities. Meeting with her in the first floor common areas has been very helpful. We look forward to being able to visit in her room and join her and her new friends in the dining room once the Covid protocols will allow it. She is enjoying the activities and opportunity to eat in the dining room with other residents.
