My dad has been a TCU patient twice at Woodbury Senior Living. Overall, we have been pleased with the team's care, coordination, and kindness. The staff that works there, from Andrew at the front desk to each PCA and nurse, care about the patients and their families. Knowing he was receiving quality care allowed me to travel - I did not worry about his needs being met. It might not be the flashiest, but it is clean, kind, and full of wonderful residents and staff.

I highly recommend Woodbury Senior Care for ANYONE you love, that may need a safe and caring place for long term or transitional care. 5 stars isn't enough, if there were a 10-star rating, they would get an “11’ from me. I'll start by saying the cleanliness is outstanding, in my book, that's huge. The nursing staff is remarkable, our family member that's staying there, his needs are medical and much more, the nursing staff that I've witnessed, are of the same caliber that you'd find in an Intensive Care Unit, serious. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the Woodbury Senior Living. Everyone from the Admissions person to the housekeeping staff are wonderful. Everyone’s friendly, you can tell they really care about all the residents living there. After a visit, I can walk out the door and know that I don't have to worry about our family member, he will be well taken care of. No more ANXIETY. I've visited other care centers before and couldn't wait to run out the door. Actually, the last care center he was in, lasted for two days and he had to be sent back to the hospital ICU because they didn't know what they we're doing, and the place was filthy, not conducive to healing. I could write a book about how pleased we are regarding, Woodbury Care Center. This place is the "top of the line' as far as we are concerned. We were blessed that they had an opening for our family member. I can't image that there's anywhere better than here. I could go on and on about what’s right and good about the Woodbury Care Center, but I will end by saying, THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF for what you do. They are caring, knowledgeable and professional. My mother was at the Estates for 3 1, 2 years. We had found it very difficult to find a memory care assisted living , and were grateful that the Estates accepted her.(She had previously been on campus at the Villa). We found many of the staff to be exceptional caregivers and people of deep dedication to their work; Aye, Tess, Desiree, Maria, La, Jo, and many others. Courtney the director of nursing, Pastor Basil, and Margaret tried hard to work with our family through many ups and downs. Kathy and Chaz, two of the nurses, were very attentive to my mother, especially when she was dying. No facility is perfect, and sometimes staffing was difficult, ie when staff was unable to work their shift with late notice given. Staff turnover at assisted livings can be considerable sometimes. We were very grateful at the times when staff would sometimes stay and work a double shift so that my mother had adequate and familiar care. Sometimes float staff had to be called. The facility itself is bright and cared for. I was always an advocate for more fresh vegetables. Kitchen staff was often kind and attentive. My mother was especially happy that there were multiple church services each week and easy access to the campus pastor. There is also a beautiful courtyard garden. I often observed a generous and joyful spirit between staff and residents. Staff treated my mother and our family with kindness and respect. Mom was a resident of the Estates for five years, and we feel that it was the best possible place for her. The facility is comfortable and inviting, and she received excellent care from attentive and caring staff. Mom had many opportunities to participate in appropriate activities; she especially enjoyed singing and fishing. Margaret, Tess, and Diane deserve special recognition for cheerfully taking care of the small things that greatly improved Moms quality of life. I highly recommend the Estates to anyone looking for a home for their loved ones.
