My parents both lived at the Ivy from 2022 to late 2025. When they first moved in it was independent living. We knew eventually my mother would need further assistance if not memory care eventually. With me living 4 hours away, The Ivy was a perfect place to make sure both of my parents were safe and happy. Eventually my mother ended up in memory care and the staff there was great. Communication was huge and critical. I always felt I knew what was going on and that was very helpful, especially when having to make decisions. The lead nurse Kelley was phenomenal along with her assistant Jessica. I'm very thankful for them and everything they did for my mother. From managing medications to making great conversations. The building and grounds were very nice and continued to be well maintained. Very clean. My father and mother always made mention of that and enjoyed being there. The activities and programs, great too. When my mother was in memory care they arranged all the transportation to and from her appointments. Sadly both my parents are now gone and I will say, having them there was a great decision....one we all made together but now looking back, realize how good of a decision that was. Honestly , I even miss visiting. Walking around, getting a coffee, saying hello to everyone, an occasional game of pool upstairs and more so sitting down in the upper sitting area just relaxing and listening to music. I guess, just good memories all around. Thanks Ivy!

The Ivy is a welcoming environment as soon as you walk in through the doors. It's been a pleasure and a blessing to bring painting + music as a peaceful activity to the senior residents for one hour. The residents are a joy to be around and the staff very helpful and pleasant to work with. I am grateful for this opportunity.

Claudia and I are vocal musical entertainers. We have performed 3-4 times a year for several years thanks to the kind invites from Michelle McNamara, the Ivy's very talented Social Director. The facility is first rate physically but most important is the congeniality of the residents and staff who always go out of the way to make us feel welcome, We always receive positive feedback on our performance , and this makes our visits most enjoyable . Thank you ,and we look forward to 2026 at the Ivy.

My father in law has been at the Ivy since July first, 2021. He has gotten the best care possible/all the staff, from managers to caregivers, are so kind and loving to him. His needs with dementia are met, along with constant monitoring for his physical needs as well with the nursing staff. Most importantly, he is safe and the environment is such a positive place. Daily activities are planned and the facility is so lovely. The meals are outstanding and his apartment is neat and clean. Upon entry to the building, you are always greeted with a smile and kind and compassionate words. We highly recommend this place for your loved one. donna & Marco Perugini

I cannot say enough positive things about this assisted living home. From the moment my grandmother moved in, I have felt a sense of peace knowing she is so well cared for. The staff go above and beyond every day”always kind, compassionate, and attentive to her needs. They truly treat her like family. The building itself is spotless and well-maintained, which immediately reassures me every time I visit. It’s clear that they take pride in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Most importantly, my grandmother is happy here, and that means everything. I feel just as comfortable with her living here as I would if she were at home with us. The care, the friendliness, and the sense of community make this place truly special. I am deeply grateful for the amazing care they provide and highly recommend this assisted living home to anyone looking for a supportive and loving environment for their loved one.

Please do not send your loved ones to this facility. The communication is terrible with the exception of a few people, Kimberly and Shawntina.. there was rust and mold in the shower mat. The apartment could’ve been cleaner. They charge an astronomical amount of money every month. If you were loved one is not able to walk at some point, they do not have a Hoyer lift which means you will have to move your ones to another facility. And obviously they do not tell you that when you have a tour with them. Now they are charging me to replace a carpet, which is $1500. Mind you they were getting $11,000 a month. Disgusting! This place only cares about money they don’t care about your loved ones. Please do your research and find another place. Also, I would advise you to hire an elder care attorney.

I can't say enough great things about The IVY! From the moment we entrusted our loved one to their care, we've been consistently impressed with their attentiveness, compassion, and clear communication. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure residents are well taken care of and feel at home. Whenever we've had questions or concerns, the team has been quick to respond with professionalism and kindness, always keeping us informed about any updates. It's such a relief knowing our family member is in such capable, caring hands. Thank you, The IVY, for all that you do!

The Ivy – Memory Care Highly recommend The Ivy provides a loving and caring community for its residents and family members. Our first tour of the community, after touring a few other facilities, convinced me that this would be a good place for mom. When mom moved in it was with a great deal of trepidation and resistance on her part and the transition was difficult, the staff worked with us to help her (and us) to become better oriented. It was a learning curve for sure but we were treated with the utmost respect. Mom adapted with help from the staff and her family and was able to participate in activities to a certain extent. As her dementia started to really take over it did become more difficult, and I do think that the Ivy could benefit from having a few more hands to help with the different levels of abilities. The Ivy is meant to be an “age in place” for their residents. This was one of the things that sold me on this facility though we knew would have to bring in private aides to assist in providing the additional personal care that was needed at that stage (personal hygiene, feeding when it became necessary, etc). We were guided by the Ivy nursing staff to a very reputable outside agency to contract with. The agency staff and Ivy staff worked in concert to provide mom with the best of care. Were there some hiccups along the way? Of course, but they were resolved immediately. Next step was moving onto hospice unfortunately, but again, we were counseled and guided by the Ivy staff to locate a reputable agency with whom they worked well with. I can’t say enough about the support, guidance and respect we received from all involved.

When the time came to place our mom with Parkinson’s, we visited many assisted living facilities in the area. The Ivy was impressive and offered everything she would need and more. The staff is attentive and caring. The Ivy is beautiful, very well maintained, and the apartments are gorgeous. Our mom is so happy there, they offer many activities, out trips, and social engagements everyday. Not to leave out that the food is amazing too! We feel very secure in knowing that mom is happy and safe while making friends and enjoying life again.
