Streamside Assisted Living Team, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to Director Daythun Cole and his exceptional team for the care and compassion they showed my mother during her time at your facility. My mother lived for over 20 years in a senior mobile home park, and the transition to assisted living was one of the most emotionally challenging experiences for both of us. Daythun’s guidance, patience, and expertise made all the difference. He helped me navigate this difficult journey and supported me in helping my mother understand that Streamside would be her new home place of comfort, safety, and community. The staff’s dedication and kindness were evident every day. For a year and a half, they cared for my mother with genuine warmth and professionalism. She was truly happy at Streamside, and I am forever grateful for the peace of mind that gave me. Unfortunately, at the age of 97, my mother’s care required her to move to a skilled nursing facility. While this next chapter is difficult, I will always remember the incredible care she received at Streamside and the support I received from Daythun and his team. My mom lived at the assisted living and memory care units. I couldn’t have asked for a better place. The staff was so loving and cared for my mom so well. Her room was always clean and she really liked the food. I strongly recommend Streamside if your needing a place for your loved one.

I would highly recommend Streamside Assisted Living facility! Amazing and caring staff! Great home cooked meals along with plenty of snacks to be offered daily! Lots of activities for the residents and families to do! Very clean and well kept. Residence have smiles on their faces and those I spoke with said they absolutely love it there!! Definitely worth looking into for your loved ones!

I’m very happy here. They have a great staff! Problems are fixed as soon as possible with love and kindness from all involved. The staff really love and care for each resident. My brother has a traumatic brain injury and can not live independently at this time. The staff at Streamside met with me, modified their billing in order to accept workman’s compensation as a payor and have been so kind and helpful with the unusual needs and demands of his situation. I couldn’t recommend them and this facility higher.. they truly go above and beyond!

Approximately one year ago, I wrote a fairly negative review of Streamside Assisted Living. The situation at that time was such that we moved my mother to another facility. I mentioned in that review, issues with the director and health care staff. Those problems have been resolved so mom is back at Streamside. Having a director that is concerned about the welfare of the residents and having honest and caring nursing staff makes all the difference. I believe all assisted living facilities struggle to maintain a quality, well trained staff but having a strong caring director makes all the difference.

One of the things we LOVE about partnering with the team at Streamside is that they LOVE their residents and know them in a unique/personal way. During the challenges that COVID has presented to us, they have gone out of their way to still make their residents feel connected with their families and friends. As a Hospice that sees patients in their building on a regular basis, it is so encouraging to hear the positive feedback that comes from their residents and families. This is a reflection of the hard work that they put in to meet the unique needs of each resident and do so with empathy & understanding.

My mother was a resident at Streamside Assisted Living for approximately three years. The best word to describe her experience at Streamside was inconsistent. Some of the caregivers were wonderful, skilled and well-trained. Others seemed to know little about their job and seemed to lack compassion. The turnover in staff was continual. Of greatest concern was the way medications were handled. The delivery was not consistent and at times the staff was not honest in reporting when medications were delivered. At times mom was not treated with respect. As mentioned above, there was continual turnover of staff. Perhaps those who were less than honest and disrespectful are no longer there. However, after attempting to work with the system for several months we decided it was necessary to move mom to a place where she could receive better care.

This facility was beyond amazing in their care and compassion of my mother in the last 5 months of her life, and for her entire family staying by her side the last 6 days of her life. They made us feel at home at the facility, provided us food and space to stay with her and grieved our loss along with us. My family and I cannot say enough good things about the facility and the staff at Streamside. We would highly recommend them for safe, conscientious, compassionate care of your loved one. It really is the next best thing to home.

My mom enjoyed living at Streamside Assisted Living. The staff was wonderful, always helpful and did a great job of watching out for mom as well as being her friend. Whenever I had questions, they were fast to answer. When mom started to fall, Streamside staff would call me right away to let me know, even if mom wasn't hurt. The communication and care and support was excellent. Mom was able to live there from when she was independent with mild dementia until the end when she had her strokes and passed away on 12/22/18. Thank you Streamside Staff!

I moved to Streamside in 2013 when my family could no longer care for me. This was my first experience with an assisted living facility and was impressed with the cleanliness of the building and the friendly staff. Whenever I need something or need help someone is always there. Recently I had surgery and require a special diet and the kitchen has been very good about getting me my special food when i need it. The med techs have been wonderful with getting my medications to me on time when I have special instructions. The care givers are great with helping me when I need help and come in and say hi to my 17 year old cat. I appreciate everyone here and hope that I'm here for as long as possible. Good work Streamside, I have enjoyed my 5 1/2 years here.

Toured for my dad. The place was beautiful. The lady who gave is the tour was kind although not very professional. When I asked if they drug test their staff on a regular basis she said no. WHAT! That was a total turn off. She followed her answer with stating she is pretty aware of the signs if one of her staff members is using drugs. This practice does not seem safe or legal when dealing with so many different prescription drugs readily available.

My husband and I came to Streamside Assisted Living 5 years ago. I had a stroke and my husband developed Alzheimer's. During this time rwe received very good care by the aides and my husband and while he had Alzheimer's the aides were very passionate towards him. Later on while the diseases got worse we had transferred him to the Alzheimer's Building. He later passed away while living there. I have continued living at the assisted living. They were very compassionate during my grieving time. And after all these years I have enjoyed the food that they serve and the care that I receive during this time. When I have a request for help when I lose something or need help with getting in bed they are very prompt and very helpful with a good attitude. Since I have been here at Streamside for 5 years they feel like family now.
