Over all The Trace is a wonderful place. The concierge needs to be more friendly and pay more attention to guests coming in and leaving. The new administrator if fabulous and always willing to listen to concerns and he is for the most part always involved on what is going on. The activity director is absolutely fabulous and so creative, she is a delight. The head nurse is great as well, she is the best The Trace has had!!!! The kitchen cooks a lot of fried foods, more broiled or baked meats need to be offered. The Trace is always clean and makes sure it is always neat and fresh!

I have been looking for a great place for my mother and I think this might be the one. Very clean facility with very friendly staff. Their concierge, Angela, was especially helpful. I highly recommend checking them out!

A family member of mine was recently moved into The Trance because it seemed to be the best option for what we were looking for. After we visited we were almost skeptical whether the information we were shown/told was accurate to what living there would actually be like; but after some time of my grandmother living there we couldn't be more satisfied. The visit and advertising couldn't have been more spot on to what it is actually like day to day. My grandmother is more than pleased with the dining options and the staff are so kind, prepared, and happy to help at all times. We are very blessed we found such a comfortable, trustworthy community for her to stay (and a lovely place for us to visit!). Couldn't be happier with our choice.

I find that The Trace is such a wonderful place!!! Not only a wonderful place for senior living, but also a wonderful place of employment. I find that The Trace has a wonderful southern hospitality and love for the residents. You can most definitely walk inside the Trace and see the smiles on people's faces, residents and employees. The Trace is wonderful!!! And I really give 5 stars to this wonderful place. I would recommend The Trace for anyone of my family members because of the care and love they have for the residents.

Clean and organized! I enjoy hearing the pianist play music in the lobby, it makes for a cozy environment. Angela was quick to offer directions upon entering the building. She's so pleasant and friendly to all I've seen interact with her. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

I have been attending networking events for many years at The Trace, and recently attended a meeting there. The culinary team knocked it out if the park. The food was delicious and the accommodations were lovely. Campbell, Julie and Thomas were terrific hosts. If you are looking for a meeting venue, I highly recommend.

I think the Trace has really nice and caring workers. They are very patient with my mother in law who has dementia. If your loved one doesn't need extra care it's a great place. But on the other hand if they need extra help the staffing is short handed. They are suppose to make sure she has a bath three times a week. She rarely gets a bath unless we go there and do it ourselves. We recently moved her to memory care which is quite a bit more money and still rarely gets a bath.

My Mom has been at the Trace for almost 3 years. She is very happy there. Her room is very nice and makes her feel as though she is still at her home. The staff is great. She finds all of them are very helpful. Mom never wanted to go to an assisted living, however she was pleasantly surprised to make so many wonderful friends. It so great to know that she is receiving wonderful care. Also, the activities and entertainment are awesome. Anyone interested in assisted living should definitely go and tour it. As her daughter, I strongly recommend The Trace. The Trace never ceases to amaze me. Today, March 24, Mother had to have an ambulance to St. Tammany. The Staff quickly helped her get ready to go to the hospital, offered to bring her back to the Trace, and faxed her medicine list to the hospital. Thanks so much to all the Staff who helped Mom get to the hospital. You all are most greatly appreciated.

The Trace is a beautiful, well-appointed, Senior Living facility located in a quiet, forested, well-landscaped area of Covington. It was obvious, from an initial visit, that the residents seemed to be happy and pleased with their living accommodations. Each of the staff members, that I met, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and ready to provide information and accommodate as requested.

My parents have been there 20 months. Everything about it is top notch. Stacie has a wonderful group of RAs that assist the residents. The laundry does lose clothing, however.
