My mom has been living at the Villas for several years, and she loves it. I am also extremely happy with the facility. There are a lot of activities for the residents to stay active with. The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly. Two staff members especially stand out to me. Kenya, the facility director, is incredibly helpful and hands-on. When my mom had to go to the hospital, he helped with sorting things out and checking on her, even after hours. Dulce Lopez has also been extremely helpful in coordinating care when needed. I live out of town, but I never worry about my mom's care because Dulce is always on top of things. I have had nothing but good experiences so far, and when an occasional concern pops up, they address it promptly. It is a huge relief to have my mom at the Villas. She is happy there.

Staff members are amazing. Always there to lend a helping hand and show such loving kindness and compassion to residents. My brother has Parkinson's and the staff show him understanding and respect as they care for his many needs. I am always grateful that his room is kept tidy and fresh. I happened to visit my brother during lunch and was excited to see staff deliver a big beautiful cake! Everyone joined in and sang happy birthday to celebrate the 99th birthday of a lovely lady. Everyone enjoyed some cake and my brother said it was absolutely delicious! They treat residents like family!

The Villas has a warm family environment. Shi at the front desk and residents in the lobby always greet guests with a smile. The ED Kenya Carlton goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome. When we visit the villas we truly feel like we're apart of the community. My kids always say they like to visit because the Villas smells like cookie's! If you're looking for a home for an aging family member please tour this community. I am also shocked to know they will be accepting the assisted living waiver in July 2024.

When I first called and asked information for this community over the telephone, I was pleasantly greeted by staff member Kenya, who was very professional, and the most friendliest. As I came to visit for the first time, I was quite impressed by the staff members as well as the residence. My second visit I got to meet Gladys, who was another friendly staff member. By the smiles of the residence faces and the interaction that they had with one another, you can most definitely feel the presence of joy! I most definitely would recommend the villas in San Bernardino!

We were looking for a place for my mother-in-law, something close to the city of Colton where we live. We came across the Villas in San Bernardino and were immediately impressed by how nice the establishment is and how friendly and professional the staff is. The administrator, Kenya Carlton, was very courteous, informed and brought great empathy to mine and my family's questions about placing my mother-in-law there. He made quite the impression on all of us and are happy that our family member now resides there where everyone brings a nurturing touch.

The staff at Villas of San Bernardino really cares about their residents. My mother and father have been there for three years. They are compassionate and many times have done more than they are required to do. I appreciate the executive director and staff taking time to chat with my parents. The Executive Director ensures that they have enough med tech personnel to take care of all and respond timely. The food is good and they have several meals to choose from. Transportation provided for medical appointments is a wonderful benefit. The facility is comfortable and kept clean. I am confident my parents are being taken care of which brings me peace.

My father has been a resident of The Villas since 2019. Absolutely, hands down, they have been so very accommodating and kind to our Dad and to our family. Dad's disease has progressed more recently, and Dulce has done everything in her power to help him transition through the very difficult dementia & Alzheimer's. She has been instrumental in making sure our family, and mostly our Dad-feel taken care of. The other employees at the Villas, including the caregivers, always deliver the utmost warmth, and understanding when dealing with his needs. I recommend the San Bernardino Villas to any family needing a place that makes its residents feel like it is their home. I cannot express enough how much Dulce, and The Garden's Team, have done on behalf of our dear dad. Thank you Villas so much from the whole Shiffer Family!!!!

When I was looking for a place for a dear friend of mine what drew me to Villas was when I walked in to the place it didn't have any orders like other places I had checked out. Very clean , awesome people and always greeting you. Dulce is always keeping me up dated on her . Yvette is a great person. The staff is really friendly. A great place for people who can no longer take care of themselves. .

The Villas at San Bernardino is a wonderful facility. I visited several times before my mom moved in. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. My mom was there from September 2021, until she passed away in August 2022. She began in assisted living, then moved to memory care after being diagnosed with dementia. The staff was kind, loving and supportive. The only real issues I had were, not long after my mom moved in, her eyeglasses disappeared. Also, when she passed away, we couldn't find the blanket that I had crocheted for her. We were let into the laundry room and my husband found it at the very top of one of the high shelves. No telling how long it had been in there. They also lost her brown bear with the red shirt that said "Need A Hug?", which was the last gift her oldest sister ever sent her before she passed away 6 years ago. If it wasn't for these issues, I would have given the facility a 5 rating.

Not surprised this is such a beloved senior community. The Executive Director, Kenya Carlton, is one of the best in the industry. You'll never find him in his office because he's always with the staff and residents, a true sign of a great ED. This community will continue to be great because of the team atmosphere and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

The Villas are absolutely wonderful. They are extremely dedicated to their residents and provide excellent care. Staff is friendly and approachable and you can really tell they love their jobs. They have both assisted living and memory care so they can meet the needs of all of their residents seamlessly. They are always planning activities for their residents and their families keeping everyone involved, social, and active!

One of the key indicators of success I look for in a facility is how hands-on is the management team and the Villas is Top Notch. Its very clean, and absent of any unpleasant smells. Kenya, the executive director, is very involved within the community with residents and staff. Villas at San Bernardino is a great community. As a nurse working with an agency I have entered the community many times over the last few years. The staff is always friendly and very helpful with what I need and most importantly proactive with the residents needs. They truly care. As I observe staff on my visits it doesn't matter who they are in their role, they are engaging of the residents and helpful if something is needed. The environment is nice. Not too big and feels like home. Very clean, bright and cheerful. Kudos to a great community and staff!

My mother lived at the Villas for almost two years, until she passed at the age of 97. I cannot say enough about this place. They didn't just take care of Mom. They LOVED her. Yes, there were pandemic-related challenges as with everywhere, but they rallied and did the very best they could. Mom made friends there, not just with the other residents, but with the staff. In particular, she adopted Janet, the Activities Director, as her granddaughter, I think! And it was so mutual. Mom found happiness is sitting with various staffers, enjoying a conversation and asking about their families. I was so touched by how many of them came in to say hello, to check on her, or just to say goodbye at the end of their shift. There were plenty of activities to keep the residents interested, with musical programs and dancers, for example. Also, there were special days (like for Halloween and Easter, for example) where the children of residents' families could come by for treats and lots of hugs. The owner, Dan Brazeau, once told me it was his mission to make final days the very best, to treat the elders with the kindness and respect they deserve. Mission accomplished. I will never forget you folks. Thank you.

Our family decided to move father here about a month ago due to memory and tripping hazards. The staff are excellent and interact very well as our father has suffered due to Covid isolation issues prior to this move. Staff are caring, professional and ALWAYS act in the best interests of their residents, under the circumstances we could not be more pleased with his progress. This facility is very accommodating to not only our father but entire family and always meet or exceed our expectations. I am truely blessed to be apart of the best kept secret in the Assisted living industry. My mom has been here several years. She started out in independent living. As her Alzheimers progressed she was moved into the Gardens where they have special care for Alzheimers patients and the doors remained locked to prevent wandering. Ive been so happy with the quality of care that she has received over the years. My first few visits there, I met with Jana, the director. She is such a compassionate person. It made a difficult decision so much easier. Today my mother no longer knows who I am but Im comfortable knowing that she receives the best possible care available.

We called the Villas home for my dear mother for 6yrs before she passed away. Even though we had her live with family for almost two years early in her dementia stages, my mother was happiest later being at the Villas, as she felt more independent. I truly feel it extended her life. The Villas provided a safe and happy environment for her. She loved all the activities and making new friends. I have a large family and we all had frequent visits at the Villas. We were very pleased with what we saw. They have caring staff (Dan & Janna are great!) and do an outstanding job keeping the residents active. The Villas took excellent care of my mother till her last dying breath, and for that we will always be thankful.

We truly appreciated all the care and support of my step-father who lived at the Villas for over 4 1, 2 yrs. He recently passed away at age 95. The staff was like family and it was comforting to know he was in good hands. The facility is immaculate both inside and out. We would recommend the Villas to anyone looking for a safe and secure place to live.

Mom suffered from Alzheimers,when she could no longer stay with Dad in their home I searched for a facility that I felt would give Mom the care I wanted her to have. I liked the Villas right away, its smaller scale made it feel less institutional and much more residence like. The dinning room was inviting and the food quite good. The public rooms cozy and well appointed. As Moms disease progressed she had to move to the memory care unit. This is where the best aspect of the Villas shined---the wonderful, loving, caring staff.From the owner, to the facility director, to the nursing director, to all of the wonderful care givers. These people took tender loving care of my Mom. My family and I will be forever thankful wonderful care givers
