My mom has been living at the Sinclair for quite some time and absolutely loves it! Her apartment is light, bright, spacious, and completely modern. The common areas which were lovely to begin with have begun extensive renovations and the finished spaces promise to be absolutely gorgeous. Three delicious meals are provided each day and the chef is amazing! There are many menu options available to all the residents each day and the wait staff is very friendly, accommodating, and extremely professional. An elegant on site steakhouse and an amazing deli are in the works which is very exciting. There are also so many on site activities offered which is wonderful and residents can pick and choose whatever interests them the most. There are exercise classes, comedy shows, concerts, lectures, movie nights, etc. as well as complimentary afternoon teas and happy hours. Off site trips to restaurants, stores, and entertainment venues are also offered on a regular basis. Weekly cleaning and valet service is included which makes like more enjoyable for all the residents. An onsite driver is also available to help residents get to where they need or want to go. The beautiful pool, fitness room and soon to be brand new spa with many onsite services available all contribute to making the Sinclair an amazing place to live. The outdoor spaces and surrounding grounds are lovely and its location is first rate. Beautiful North Hempstead Beach is right across the way and the Harbor Links Golf Course and all its amenities are within walking distance. The lovely and historic town of Roslyn is close by as well. I live close by and visit my mom often and it makes me thrilled to see how much she loves living at the Sinclair. She has made wonderful friends there and cannot imagine living anywhere else! A special thank you to the administration and all of the staff for making the Sinclair so incredible!

We are partnering with the Executive Director, Mark and his team at the Sinclair in Pt. Washington to furnish model units as part of their remodeling project. Everyone on the staff has been so welcoming and friendly. They make you feel right at home. We were able to enjoy lunch at their restaurant. The food was delicious and the wait staff was so attentive. We were very impressed with everything the Sinclair has to offer their residents. We look forward to working with them on this project. A beautiful and welcoming senior living residence. The residents are top notch and love their community. They are friendly, gregarious, and all look at least twenty years younger than their actual ages! The food in the dining room is delectable and, based on how vibrant they are, perhaps there’s a magic ingredient in the food prep that gives them the fountain of life! The activities director Eric is very engaging and really cares for his residents; their enrichment, entertainment, and quality of life. There’s impressive renovations and improvements in process on the premises. I would love to visit Sinclair again!

Watching my daughter grow through Irish step dancing has been incredible. It’s brought our family into a special community, introduced us to amazing people, and taken us to unique venues to celebrate tradition, culture, and performance. I cannot give enough praise to the newest leaders in luxury independent living for seniors on Long Island!! I have been in many luxury rental communities and senior living residences throughout my years as an independent contract lecturer and recreation therapist. The Sinclair at Port Washington is absolutely beautiful! But more importantly, the staff is friendly, upbeat and attentive! The new chef is world class so the dining is superb! We recently did some contracted work at The Sinclair Nursing Home in Port Washington, and honestly, it’s one of the nicest facilities I’ve ever been in. Right from the start, you can tell this place is on another level. The security guard at the gate is friendly but thorough ” it feels like you’re arriving at a formal event, not a nursing home. The property itself is beautiful and well kept, and they even have a huge underground parking garage that’s clean, well-lit, and easy to access. When we arrived, the front desk already knew we were coming and had everything lined up. The staff throughout the building were professional, attentive, and just genuinely kind. In the main reception area, they have fresh fruit-infused ice water available ” and they switch up the fruits daily or weekly. Small detail, but it tells you how much they care about the environment and experience there. They also have real chefs who clearly take pride in what they do. There’s a diner separate from the main dining lounge that gives off that classic coffee and muffin while reading the paper vibe. Add to that a pool room, entertainment area, a mailroom that looks like a mini post office, and a beautiful library with great lighting ” it really doesn’t feel like a nursing home. There’s an ambulatory wing as well ” from what I understand, it’s not fully staffed yet, but it’s part of the continued build-out as the place expands. You can tell they’re still growing and planning ahead the right way. I’ve got to give credit to the facilities team on site. They know their stuff ” sharp, capable, and hands-on with some pretty complex mechanical systems. They’ve been aggressive (in a good way) about making sure everything runs as designed and the comfort levels stay where they should be. I usually tell people to care for their loved ones at home if possible. But after being here and seeing how well this place operates, I honestly changed my mind. The Sinclair feels more like a resort that happens to provide top-level care. Most hotels could take a few notes from this place.

What an amazing property and transformation going on with new ownership. From the time you drive up, the landscaping itself is so inviting. Then you walk in the front reception area and are greeted by the front desk. And as you walk through the community you already see subtle changes evolving. Fresh Starbucks Coffee placed in the lobby. New Dinnerware is on the tables and a high-end dining atmosphere emerging. So many projects in the works as this property is moving to the future with a great vibe in place and developing further. The team at The Sinclair of Port Washington look passionate to care for seniors and it shows in all they are doing actively.

I recently toured The Sinclair while looking for a senior living community for my mother, and I was really impressed. The community feels warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. The staff took time to answer all my questions and really seemed to care about the residents, not just the logistics. We were excited to see the menu because we heard they have a new director of culinary graduated from CIA. The common areas are bright and open, there are a lot of activities going on inside and outside the community and the residents seemed really nice. The property is gorgeous with beautiful grounds and right near the harbor links golf club. The community is gated so I know mom will always be safe. Plus there is valet service! We live nearby and my children visit with her often so I think this could be the perfect place.
