A hidden gem in the San Fernando Valley! Please do not let the location on the busy urban street of Van Nuys Blvd. stop you from touring! This is a safe and secured building. It is absolutely beautiful inside, bright, spacious, and well-appointed. There are plenty of common spaces, a media lounge, library, multi-purpose rooms, etc. The apartments are well sized and you have many wonderful layout and size options. They also have some of the best pricing in the area. I also love and respect how large, bright, and clean the memory care unit is. It looks no different than the rest of the community and if you've toured memory care units, you know this is a big deal! I am a professional, senior placement advisor, and I will absolutely continue to refer my clients to this community!

I am eternally grateful to Valley Vista for the loving care they provided my parents over the past 3 1/2 years. We knew my parents needed to move out of their home at some point and began looking at facilities up and down the Valley. I kid you not, we looked at 12 other facilities from Woodland Hills to Northridge to Burbank. And Lucky 13 was VV…when I walked in, I kept saying "it looks like a cruise ship!!" and I'm happy to say that over the ensuing 3.5 years, it never lost that effect on me. Spotlessly clean, never a bad smell (OK, occasionally, let's be real, but they were immediately dealt with). Bright, cheery and airy. Still looks as new as the day we moved in. Yes, the neighborhood looks rough. But with secure underground parking, buzzing in and out to enter the facility and other safety measures, it was never an issue. Don't let that dissuade you!! It's what's inside that counts and there are several lovely outside patios within the secure confines. If your relatives are anything like mine (who were on the Memory Care floor) they are not traipsing up and down VN Blvd. The care my parents received was fantastic. The core of Med Techs that took care of them were there all or most all the time we were there - the facility soft-opened in the middle of Covid in Spring 2020 and we were among the first families to move in that Fall. Yep, in the middle of Covid. Which they took in stride and I know was incredibly difficult. Compared to other facilities Valley Vista really kept their numbers down, even at the peak of things. The new company which has recently taken over management of Valley Vista has implemented some noticeable changes, for the even better. More activities, more visual interest on the informative bulletin boards, more holiday observances. The new manager of my parents' floor, Jared was so kind and helpful to us as my dad entered hospice. A special shout-out to the Med Techs we knew and loved: Jackie, Jessica, Kim, Annett, Norma, Isabelle and Juan - and all the ones who took care of our parents that we didn't get to know. You are all angels. Thanks for reading this far. I know what an incredibly difficult decision you probably need to make if you're reading this. I hope this eases your mind a little bit.

My husband and I selected Valley Vista Senior Living for my brother largely due to our interactions with Gabi Rodriguez who was accessible and personable throughout our decision-making process. We visited seven other assisted living facilities and appreciated the bright, beautiful and tasteful environment, as well as the general "vibe." Gabi was prompt in her initial outreach out to us. We enjoyed our conversations with her. She answered our questions and helped us through the decision process with charm and humor. As we toured the facility with her, we saw that she knew every resident by name and interacted warmly with them.

In April of 2023, I made the agonizing decision that it was time to place my mother in a memory care facility. Valley Vista is beautiful, safe, and there are activities going on all day long. The ENTIRE staff are authentically kind and helpful and it is quite obvious that they deeply care about all the residents and their families. I toured many places and finally decided on Valley Vista Senior Living because of Gabi. I met with three different sales/marketing people at three different facilities and Gabi was the only one who actually listened to me as I sat across from her in tears. After our initial meeting, she didn't harass me with phone calls like the other people. Instead, she gave me my space, understanding that this was going to be a very difficult decision for me. Once I was ready to move my mom, Gabi held my hand every step of the way. Reassuring me and letting me know what to expect. My mom has been at Valley Vista for a month now, and is doing better than I ever could have expected. We love visiting her, and our 9 year old son has the best time hanging out and playing with all of "Grandma's new friends!" It is a beyond difficult decision to make, moving a parent to assisted living/memory care facility, but with support from people like Gabi and the rest of the staff at Valley Vista, you will NOT be alone. I can't say enough about Gabi, Lupe, Kim, Maria and all of the staff at Valley Vista. They made the transition for my Dad from his previous assisted living facility to this one as painless as can be. Amazingly, there are a lot of unsatisfactory places out there and this one is just wonderful. So pleased and happy that my father is here. Thanks!

I moved into Valley Vista four weeks ago and I'm very happy with my decision. A huge shout out to Gabi for all of her help with the move-in process! The community is excellent: the staff is friendly, professional and helpful, everything is kept clean, and the food is wonderful. I've had several nurses and physical therapists come to visit me and they've all had nothing but good things to say about the facility. Having transportation available is also very beneficial. It's always fun driving with Ivan! Additionally, Valley Vista does an excellent job tailoring its services and fee schedules to the needs of each particular resident. If you're like me — fairly mobile, but need help with meals and housekeeping — everything will be taken care of. The same goes if you are someone who needs a higher level of care, such as assistance with medication or other personal needs. The best part about living here is that the community just works — everything comes together to eliminate as much stress as possible from the lives of the residents.

I moved my Dad into Valley Vista at the beginning of April, and he absolutely loves it! I researched assisted living facilities for several months, and went on a lot of tours, and Valley Vista is by far the best for value, cleanliness, design (all brand new and modern), food variety and quality, comfort and care. Gabi R. was especially helpful, friendly, and kept up clear communication throughout the entire process of moving my Dad in to his new apartment. She and the rest of the Valley Vista staff really go above and beyond; getting his apartment set up with everything from cable/phone/internet to helping him hang pictures and art prints. I appreciate that this is a stand-out quality experience of assisted living in the San Fernando Valley, and I'm glad my Dad can enjoy the safety and community of Valley Vista in his retirement.

Valley Vista is a beautiful location. My husband and I were looking for a place with options for care for my mother in law. We absolutely fell in love with valley vista, it is so beautiful. The building feels warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. Most importantly Gabi made us feel at ease and the whole process seamless. She was incredible to work with and extremely accommodating. The best thing is she takes such personal time in getting to know the residents. You can’t go wrong with choosing valley vista for your loved one, they will make your loved one feel at home and part of the valley vista family. I highly recommend it!

Gabi and the staff are amazing! They are very friendly and have gone above and beyond to get my grandmother quickly settled into her new home. The living and common spaces are new, clean, and maintained very well. There seems to be a great and diverse community of residents, and they can enjoy group activities or just hanging out alone comfortably. The food is great and our family enjoys having meals with our grandma. Security is excellent. The main thing I would love improved is if there was more than 1 driver for all the residents. This would make the signup process and driver availability easier for residents to run small errands. Besides that, the family really likes it!

I have nothing but massive raves for Valley Vista Senior Living. My parents moved in in October '20 and have been under fabulous, thorough, considerate, creative care ever since. I have always felt that they are safe despite the neighborhood, because the building is very much secured. It's not like they're walking around the neighborhood in their state. The Director of their floor is unbeliveably compassionate and hardworking, always trying to find ways to make my parents happier and adjust to their new home. The caregivers are endlessly patient (my dad can be a bit of a handful) and kind. My husband and I are not quite at the age of needing care ourselves but I swear I would move in when the time comes - we can be the first "second generation" at Valley Vista 😉 I looked (literally, not figuratively) at 13 facilities across the San Fernando Valley - and this was in pre-COVID times so I went to 12 other places, walked around, talked to the staff. I felt like I had done my due diligence x13. I have never regretted our decision to move our parents to Valley Vista Senior Living.

Simply wonderful. They have exceptionally safe COVID practices in place for residents, staff and families. The facility is located in an up and coming neighborhood. The facility itself is gorgeous. It has a five star hotel feel. The staff are so warm, and genuinely friendly. The staff are also organized and well educated. The facilitys leadership team is EXTRAORDINARY. They exceeded any expectation I could have conjured. They made the transition easy, comfortable and the rates for this facility are equitable. I am the type of person to do my home work. Their inspection reports were immaculate. Granted they have only been open since May - but immaculate is always the expectation, hope for someone like me. Their reputation within the hospital communities are glowing with positive experiences and comments. Most important, their communication was clear, concise and accurate. Our family appreciates them SO MUCH. My mom who swore she would NEVER go to a facility LOVED this place from the first instant she saw it. That made the transition for her a happy and hope filed one - which I think is every familys hope and goal too.
