My mother has lived here for over a year and a half. She has Parkinson's, which affects her mobility and her daily routine in ways that require real attention and patience, and I want people researching this place to know what we've experienced. The third floor wellness team, led by Kahlia and Brittney and Carla and including Khalil, Tandy, Stephanie, Rosie, Sharron, Maxine, Marcie, Naomi, Vanessa, and Ebony (and many others I'm forgetting) have been extraordinary. So have the physical therapy team of Jackie and Ed, and Occupational Therapist Julie and Speech Therapist Ethel - great work being done there for all residents. They all know my mother's preferences, her rhythms, and help her even more on her harder days. They show up for her with consistency. When something changes with her health or her mood, or there's the possibility of a real problem, they notice and correct it. They get her out to group activities when she's able and wants to, but respect it when she's tired or would rather not. Every staff member, whether they're new or have been there for years, takes the time to learn my mom's name and to learn about her. They interact with her on a very kind and personal level, and not in a rushed manner (even when I can tell they are busy). Mary runs activities, with the help of Nell and Gillian and they're all incredible - because of them my mom is more socially active and engaged than she was before she moved in, and she enjoys every activity she has the energy to attend. Mary and Nell and Gillian are so good at what they do and so warm with all of the residents. Phil and Jeremy in Maintenance routinely go above and beyond, they are such a good team. The whole staff acts like a family to get things done, which is rare in the places we visited and researched. And the residents are part of that family. Jamie and the dining chef and the rest of the dining crew take pride in what they do, remember my mom's name and food preferences, and the food is really good. Carrie was part of that dining team for a long time and has since moved to the front desk, where she's doing an equally wonderful job welcoming residents and families and managing operations, which she is great at. So are Rafia and Imani and Sue and others I'm forgetting. We have recommended this community to others without hesitation. The staff here takes their work seriously, and we feel it every time we visit. Also, after a transition to a new corporate ownership company, Danielle, the new Executive Director is doing an incredible job leading the entire organization after rising through the ranks internally. She cares so much and it really shows. -Pete

Always looks clean and tidy - the front desk attendant should actively greet any visitors and ask if they need assistance

Both my Aunt and now my Uncle were/are residents of Daylesford Crossing. My Uncle who is a current resident there enjoys all the help and activities that are provided to him. The list would be too long but we would like to give a special shout out to Carrie (Front Desk) and Jamie (Food Services).

My mom moved into Memory Care several months ago. She has been doing well from the greater socialization and activity schedule Daylesford provides. I want to thank many of the direct care staff who give my mom excellent attention, including: Nakeesha, Lilianna, Ebony, Hope, Nyjai, Theresa, Abu, and Diana. Thank you to the medical staff, including: Brittany, Khalia, Carla, and Naomi. Thank you to the activities staff, including: Mary, Nell, Jackie, and Jordan. Thank you to Carrie, the concierge. Finally, thank you to David who regularly cleans resident rooms and the Memory Care common areas. You have ALL made my mother's transition and my regular visits so positive.

Carey Rongner-Cook is the ideal Concierge at Daylesford Crossing. She has a great big heart and smile that puts everyone at ease; as she is very approachable. Carey has had years of developing friendships, security, service, support, and fun for Daylesford Residents. This could be an awkward time tor residents but Carey exudes a family ethic that puts residents and family members at ease. Carey looks good and is good. Simply terrific

Carrie is so attentive to the residents! She is caring, patient and friendly. She goes out of her way on a daily basis to make their experience memorable. She understands when residents need more time to process and she gives them the help they need. If we could have more Carrie’s in this world, we would all be blessed.

I would like to commend Carrie for her excellent job in the dining room. She is the most pleasant, the most helpful, the most caring person at Dalesford. She strives to assist any resident in any capacity that she can. Her smiling face is the reason we eat in the dining room. She is the best asset to Dalesford.

The staff at daylesford crossing go above and beyond, but one staff member is the true definition of a leader, her unwavering dedication to The seniors that live under her care is both astounding and heartwarming. Hillary the director of the dementia unit in connections, is it true blessing to daylesford Crossing any one that does not see how amazing she is at her job and how kind she is as a person is an absolute fool

I had a lovely lunch with my stepmother! The food and the service were both great!
July 2024
Moving my mom to Daylesford on June 7, 2024 was the BEST decision in what has been a very challenging 14 months! Amanda Molina made the process easy. The changes in mom have been incredibly positive & uplifting for the both of us! Claudette Steer leads the medical teams with such attention to detail & correction of issues so they are resolved quickly. PT/OT Julie has her getting more mobile & project her not being wheelchair bound thanks to their efforts. Even Jeremy & Phil in Maintenance have been great. I cannot name all of the staff I have met but no matter who you speak to, these folks clearly DISPLAY daily how much they care. They are so nice & engaging, making sure residents are well & that needs are being met. Not only attentive to the medical parts but the mental, which is critical! My mom is getting her confidence back & is able to rest when needed. I cannot stress enough the massive benefits of a facility that has a smaller bed count, staff dedicated to their work and consistency for a senior with neurological issues. They achieve excellence providing specialized personal care and memory care. Visiting is such a pleasure as we continue to get to know each other. I am confident I will never have to move mom again. I am grateful for the calm and peace of mind that it has given me as a dedicated daughter handling my mom's care solo.

My grandmother is living the memory care unit (Connections) and I only have great things to say. The aides that work in that unit very obviously care about each of the residents and their well being. When I first walked in, I asked about where to find my grandmother and they knew exactly where she was, what she was doing, and they were able to tell me how she is. The women working there are absolutely amazing and I am so thankful that they are caring for my grandmother. In the moments between visits with her the aides told us stories and us questions about her. Assisted Living Facilities can be scary sometimes, especially the memory care sections. You worry about leaving your loved one in the care of someone else, but all of those worries are completely gone with Daylesford Crossing. My grandmother is being so well taken care of and I cannot be happier or more thankful.
