Entire staff was professional, informative and welcoming from our first visit through the day of moving my Mom in. Atmosphere is extremely pleasing and welcoming. This is definitely a place to call home.

I do want to recognize several staff members for their continued compassion going above and beyond. Nairi for taking the time with mom and helping her with her showers. It is so wonderful to have the same person each time. Randalyn is always smiling when you see her and acknowledges those around her. Jessica gives the best hugs and is very welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. Kylie is just as welcoming and makes you feel special. Ashley (night nurse) has given me such a sense of peace knowing mom is well taken care of. Brazette, I saw you on the camera dressing mom and making her bed. Thank you for doing the same thing your staff does; it shows such respect knowing it is teamwork and not saying that's not my job. Kudos to a great boss. Oh, I can't forget Sandra, she does such a great job cleaning moms' room and helping with mom's clothes when I need help. Shonda, for always reminding me that the paperwork is due for long term care reimbursement. I know I am missing so many..... Tamira, for always making us laugh and taking such good care of mom. Hope, oh Hope.... I am not only blessed with your friendship but also having you in mom's life is SO REWARDING for so many. Your constant uplifting and encouragement for others to succeed is priceless. I honestly do not have enough words to say how SPECIAL all of you are to us. I am sorry to leave any out, especially by name. Thank you all for your compassion, making the residents feel important and heard. I personally THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of my heart. Since mom moved into Avanti Senior Living on February 21st, she has her spark for life back. She is engaged and active in all activities giving her so much joy. Her endurance is getting better with each day. Tina Hebert keeps them going in her many exercise classes. Hope LeCompte allows their creative juices to flow in her art classes. Brazette Carlos, Avanti's Executive Director is compassionate and able to help with any concerns that come up. When you are told by your loved one "Thank you for letting me live my older years of my life happy", you know you made the right decision.

We recently had the opportunity to visit with our local high school community service group, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made our students feel right at home from the moment we arrived. What stood out most was the warm, positive environment they've created for their residents. You can tell there is genuine care and attention given to everyone there. Our students had such a fun and meaningful time visiting, talking, and sharing laughs. It was truly a heart-warming experience for all of us. We are so grateful for the opportunity to spend time here and would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a caring and uplifting place for their loved ones.

A family member moved here almost two years ago and has been thriving since in ways that I have never seen! The workers there truly view her as their own and It is so heartwarming to know she is being loved and cared for!

Terrible care. Dementia pateint who is friend had fallen on Thursday, and when private caregiver went the next Tuesday, there was still the blood from the initial injury caked on his face, his hair and on his sheets. Unbelievable incompetence and worse, a lack of caring!

I attended the “Glow in the dark bingo” event for the 1st time and had a blast! Everything was very well organized, clean great atmosphere and the staff there were amazing!!

When my mother moved to Avanti I never imagined that she would become happier than she had ever been! Avanti has become “home” for her. From the moment one enters Avanti, you are welcomed into a beautiful, immaculately well-kept, warm environment by all you encounter!! Every member of the staff plays an integral role in making residents feel comfortable, engaged, intellectually stimulated and an important member of the Avanti “family.” Residents’ limitations really become inconsequential to their daily lives because they are handled so beautifully by staff. A vast assortment of activities and entertainment opportunities are offered with something to appeal to every taste and ability-level. Residents of Avanti are “invested” in the community because each person is made to feel like they play an important part in the community dynamic. There are just no words that can describe fully, or complement highly enough, the Avanti experience. There is an incredible sense of peace knowing how well cared for, content and happy my mother and all her friends are at Avanti Assisted Living and I HIGHLY recommend it every chance I get.

Avanti Senior Living at Lafayette assisted my mother for just under 3 years. While most caregiving facilities in the area are experiencing staffing challenges due to covid and other situations. Avanti still always put the resident 1st regardless of any issues. My mothers needs were always met within a very reasonable amount of time. The loving care/assistance was evident in each one of the employees personalities and tone of the conversation/interaction with mom. My mother loved it here at Avanti and I cannot say thank you enough.

Avanti Senior Living has been the biggest blessing to our family. When Hurricane Laura hit Lake Charles, we were forced to move my dad to Avanti for an unknown amount of time. Now, a year later, we wouldn't move him for ANYTHING! The amount of love and care he receives at Avanti is amazing. The staff is in constant contact with us and makes sure that he is well taken care of. We know that there are many people that make this all work so well, but would like to mention that Kaitlyn and Victoria go the extra mile! We are thankful for the entire staff. Thank you!
