To say I love my dad is an understatement. So to have him live anywhere that he was not loved and cared for would have broken my heart! The last 2 1/2 years of his life, my father lived at Legacy, and many times he would thank me for bringing him there. Not only did the Legacy love and care for my dad, but they became like close friends and family to myself and my family through our many visits there! I felt the administrators at Legacy went "above and beyond " to provide the best care for my dad and outstanding communication with my family . He was treated well by his caregivers. They were always kind, dependable, and very professional! The wide range of activities made available to the residents from shopping, museum, and restaurant trips to live concerts, parties, and Happy Hour created sweet friendships with other residents and gave him a sense of community that he truly loved! I will always treasure the memories my family enjoyed with him at the Legacy.

My mother is at Legacy and is 93 years old. When we were searching for an assisted living place we toured the facility and found it to be nice. Then we were told by the director and the sales manager many things that are not true: supposed to be a doctor going there every 2 weeks- not true, kitchen open til 7:00 pm - not true, she wears a necklace with an alert on it for emergencies - no one answers the call and she could be laying dead in her room. The workers are supposed to do light cleaning of the room and she waited 3 weeks for someone to finally clean it then they mopped her floors with dirty water. If she complains they talk nasty and mean to her. Don't believe their hype. So worried about my mom now.

After six months of her living in The Legacy, we really feel like we have found the best place for my mom. It was an adjustment for her at first, but we knew, in time, her comfort level would increase. The adjustment stemmed from her not thinking she needed "this level of care" which, we knew she was ready for. We were reassured very recently that we did make a great decision for her. She became very ill while I was traveling and not able to get there. The staff stepped up — all the way up to the Wellness Director, Shanta Hayward and the Executive Director, Robert Todd — by being a presence in caring for my mom until I could return. It is above and beyond the call of duty to sit with someone late into the evening to make sure she is OK — or is it? That is the care you would hope for, but not always get. The entire staff is to be thanked and shown appreciation for caring for her in my absence.

What a well organized respectable community. The establishment was very clean, relaxing, and had a very cozy environment might I say. Everyone worked as a whole and was very knowledgeable about the community. The medical staff was very hands on in all departments and treated everyone with privacy by knocking before enter homes/rooms. Everyone was encouraging independents but also there to lend a helping hand. Wonderful establishment !!

When my Mom moved in to Savanah Corners she loved it. There was plenty of staff and activities galore. They had professional Chefs and servers in the kitchen. After a year or so, Legacy bought the place and it went straight downhill. Since that time my Mom’s identity was stolen from her room. She had a staff member verbally assault and threaten my Mom and my sister with violence. She pushes the call button for help and is told not to push it again. Two of the employees were spending their time ,after midnight ,in Moms apartment watching Netflix. There are still some wonderful employees there but most of the temporary help they hire is less than helpful.. I had to install cameras in her room to make sure she gets basic care. You pay premium dollars but get Medicaid bed service. UPDATE: after speaking with Corporate personnel they promised me changes would be taking place. Per their promise many changes were made ( upper level management) and more are coming in other areas. I was pleased with the service and care provided after the changes. It is such a nice facility so the changes are definitely appreciated.

Robert and his staff, Kim, Shanta, April and Brittni are great to work with and are on top of any issues that come up. This is a beautiful place to have your loved one retire and great activities to keep them busy!

My brother came to Legacy April 2022. The food is great and the facility is beautiful! His favorite staff members were the ones who took a genuine interest in him: Robert Todd, former executive director, and Careen, aide who has an extremely positive attitude and is conscientious about the needs of seniors. Shout out also to Adam Taylor, interim executive director, who works diligently to hire staff members that are committed to giving residents exceptional care.

Our Mom has been a resident of The Legacy Memory Care Unit since February 2021 and we are extremely pleased with the experience we have had there. Yes, it is a beautiful facility full of natural light and kept well maintained. The staff does their best to keep Mom engaged and participating in the various activities that they have for dementia patients. The Healthcare staff provide us with regular updates on Mom's condition and the management team is always receptive to any feedback we give them. We greatly appreciate everything they do for our Mom and sincerely recommend The Legacy to others having to make that difficult decision for their loved one.

We have found Legacy to provide a very good experience for our elderly relative. The facility is modern with a clean, refreshing design. It is well maintained and kept clean. Many of the staff have been very helpful and take a personal interest in the occupants. They have been reasonably flexible in dealing with our relative. Communication with us has been good. They did a great job dealing with the Corona virus. Food is not outstanding, but good for a facility like this. We feel lucky that we found Legacy.

My mother was 94 and living in Pennsylvania. I knew I needed to bring her with me but could not find the caring and compassionate place needed for her. While she stayed with me for about a month, it was time to place her where she would be surrounded with people her age, able to eat with friends and have interaction with others. And, i found Legacy at Savannah Quarters. I met Terry and Robert and knew that my mom had found her forever home. The residents embrassed her as did the staff. And, I could visit and dine with her whenever. Working full time, gave me peace of mind that while I could not be the one caring for her, she had a TEAM of compassionate and caring folks around her. From the housekeeping to the nursing staff and management, my mother felt loved and wanted. There was no need to look anywhere else. Legacy was the home away from home she needed.

My mother moved into Legacy about 2 months before COVID shut everything down. The quarantine has been especially hard for both the residents and staff in residential facilities. I think Legacy has handled it pretty well. Communication could be better, but I have always gotten a quick response to any questions or problems. My mother should be in memory care, so most residents are able to communicate needs better than she is. I, too, have been concerned about staff turnover. I have no doubt that employees are underpaid everywhere, not just at Legacy. I also realize that Covid has made staffing difficult. The facility is always clean and my mother has always felt she was living in a nice place. I have never worried about her safety. She always says the food is better sometimes than others. I am not sure you can expect much more for institutional food!

I would highly recommend Legacy at Savannah Quarters. Legacy offers a variety of options for those who need assistance rather than living on their own. Legacy has many bright and airy spaces for residents to gather and build friendships with others as well as comfortable apartments for each resident to create a lovely home. Although no place is perfect all the time, Robert and his staff listen to the needs of residents and try to find ways to help. During this pandemic, the Legacy community has pulled together in creative ways to help everyone keep their spirits uplifted.

Beautiful location, it feels like a five star hotel. All staff I came in contact with was extremely professional and you could tell this line of work is something they are very passionate about. Not only is Legacy Beautiful, the staff are phenomenal. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They go out of their way daily to help residents. The spa is beautiful with wet and dry sauna, jacuzzi and heated lounges (the best things ever). Legacy at Savannah Quarters is a retirement community I would choose for myself.

Legacy has been very good to my family. My dad loves the food, the people and especially loves Shamiria, like a daughter. They are very patient and loving to my dad. He is memory care and often calls and says Hey I am coming home I remind him he lives there and he gets happy and says oh good I like it here. During the Covid they have been constantly updating us and keeping the residence safe and informed. I would recommend Legacy for anyone that wants to be worry free s out your loved ones.

My mom was one of the original residents when this facility opened almost 2 years ago. Ive read some of the negative reviews posted about Legacy at Savannah Quarters. One mentioned the flooding, which definitely was a concern. However, that issue has been addressed. When it occurred, all the residents impacted by water entering their apartments were relocated until the carpets could be replaced. Another mentioned the quality of food. If my mom doesnt like whats being served as the daily special, they will prepare just about anything she asks for. One review mentioned the lack of continuity of care. I definitely have concerns over the high staff turnover, and wish that caregivers stayed longer. However, I dont think this problem is unique to this facility. This industry needs to pay CNA caregivers more. (I emphatically believe this!) A couple of reviews say the place is run like a business. True. It is a business, and Atlas wants to make a profit. But they also attempt to make this a more homelike environment than other assisted living facilities Ive visited. There arent nursing stations and medicine carts in plain sight. It feels like a home, and definitely not like a medical facility. Is it perfect? No. But my mom is happy there. She has made wonderful friends and I think she feels cared for by the staff. The administrator, Robert, has always been responsive to my concerns in the past. All of us love our parents, and get upset if anything negatively impacts them. Things will happen anywhere. The real test of a facility is how responsive the staff are when these things happen. Google reviews should exist to help consumers make informed decisions. Im personally suspicious of reviewers who havent posted a single other review, but somehow wanted to hop online to slap up a 1-star review about an assisted living community they have no personal connection to. Before COVID restrictions went into place, I was there almost every day visiting my mom and participating in activities. I hope that my review gives potential residents and their families a more clear and balanced picture of this community.

This is a community spa. Even if you dont live here, and I dont, you can utilize these wonderful services. Jacqui is a fantastic massage therapist. I highly recommend her services, especially if you suffer from migraines or other pain ailments. Its her specialty, apparently. I can attest that shes a miracle worker. Thank you, Jacqui!
