I have lived in an independent living apartment at Clarendale for two years and I am happy and satisfied with the living conditions. Both of my parents live here, Dad in Memory Care and Mom in Independent Living. Dad is very well taken care of here. The staff is fantastic, and work with his quirks to keep him safe and happy. They treat each resident according to their needs. Medical providers come to the facility, so I don't have to drive him around town for those appointments. Mom has settled in very nicely, and has a nice group of friends. She participates in many of the activities offered here, so much that I almost have to make an appointment to see her! I looked at a lot of places in the area before moving my folks here from Florida. I know we made the best choice for both of them.

Recently, I was able to spend some time with my mother at Clarendale of Chandler and got a close-up of what life is like for her there. She has a wide variety of interesting activities to choose from (her favoriites? the movie theater, a painting class, the exercise studio, Happy Hour with live music, a speaker and photo presentation from the local museum). She enjoys excellent meals (Jude gets an A+ from me for the egg salad, shrimp salad, lemon bars), and has personal and community living spaces that are lovely and clean. And while staffing continues to be a challenge everywhere, my mother has several devoted caregivers here and her needs are being met. Shout out to Jody and the rest of the Fun Team for bringing their best to their jobs. Adding to my previous post… My mother continues to thrive at Clarendale of Chandler. My family would like to give a special shout-out to Jude Walker, Director of Culinary. We reserved the comfortable, quiet private dining room for a birthday celebration where we enjoyed an excellent meal and service. My mom felt special and we all agreed we would do that again!

My mother has received wonderful care at Clarendale in the last two years. It's difficult living in a different state from her, but I have faith that my mother is being looked after well. Several staff members treat her like family and all of the staff that I have encountered are patient, kind, and caring.

My father has lived at Clarendale of Chandler for 3 months and is happy and thriving, enjoying the people (residents and staff), activities and food. When my sisters and I were touring assisted living residences on behalf of our Dad, Clarendale easily stood out above the rest. The biggest difference was how happy the people are there. Julie Mitchell was so welcoming, positive and easy-going. She fielded our multiple questions with ease and compassion. We noticed how happy the residents and staff were as we took our tour. This company could give a corporate lesson in how to create a positive culture. The chef visited our table when we came back with our Dad and he was nice and engaging, explaining how he switches up the menu to keep things interesting. Each time we visit, we see the smiles and people tell us how they love living at Clarendale. People have been so friendly and welcoming to my Dad. I cannot say enough positive things about how this business is run, from top to bottom.

My mom was one of the first residents to move into Clarendale of Chandler. She was very well known there and the staff was quite friendly to her and knew her usual timings and meal choices for breakfast and timings for dinner. On Wednesday September 10th my mom, who'd been living in independent living since they opened, was found on her floor by my sister. Her last meal was on Wednesday evening when she got take out from the dining room, no one noticed that she had missed 7 meals. No one bothered to check on her or even question where she was. I realized my mom was in independent living, but it's sad to think that someone that had been there so long was never missed from the dining hall. She also had a shower problem since she moved in on day one where her shower would flood almost reaching to her kitchen and nobody would ever fix it for her. She was constantly having to bend over and clean up her own water. It wasn't until they finally decided to charge her to order a new door for her to fix the faulty shower that it was finally going to be solved. Unfortunately my mother never got to see the new door put in. Approximately 6 weeks after my sister found her on the floor my mother passed away she was never able to recuperate fully. When I called to check on her dining meals with the chef he never even said they were sorry that happened or that she had been missed. 🙁 It was a week later that I had heard back from the executive director after leaving him a message regarding the situation. I truly hope that no one else ever has to deal with something like this!

I have worked in the senior living industry for over 28 years, I have been to MANY communities. This one is by far one of my favorites! I was so impressed by the friendly staff and residents. I didn't have an opportunity to dine there but the food looked and smelled so good! And the decor and design was so well done. I recommend a visit.

Just visited Clarendale again with my 94-year-old mother, and she's finally decided to add her name to the waiting list for an apartment in Assisted Living. Huge decision, long in the making! I felt compelled to write this note to Traci, the sales and marketing senior director, and want to share it here: Traci, I want to thank you for our return visit today. Not just for dinner, which my mom really enjoyed, and the friendly visit with Barbara, a resident, who came over to our table to say hello, but especially for the long and compassionate conversation you had with my mother as we sat in the lobby before we ate. It was a beautiful thing, seeing you draw my mother out, listen to her concerns, treat her with respect, and give her as much time as she needed. I felt like crying. I've witnessed so many representatives of eldercare facilities talk to my mom or my mother-in-law as if they were five-year-olds when we've visited. You definitely don't do that. I'm so impressed. Thank you so much, again.

My father has been here for a few months now. I have visited a number of times. This is place is hands down the best I have ever seen. I have visited relatives in three other assisted living facilities to compare to. There is no comparison. The activities, features and food are top notch (love the bacon). But what really stands out is that the staff (everyone you meet and I mean everyone) is happy to be there and happy to see you. That makes all the difference in any place you visit and especially when its your loved one there everyday with them. This place gets my highest recommendation. Feel comfortable moving your friend or family member here!

I must say I am truly impressed and my heart is warmed by the love and care the staff provides to each resident. It is absolutely amazing. This is a facility I would highly recommend! My 96 year old mother (almost 97) has been cared for by the Clarendale of Chandler Assisted Care/Memory Care facility staff in Chandler, Arizona, for the past few months. The care and responsiveness by everyone on the staff has been exceptionally outstanding! In addition, the facility itself is beautiful and extremely well cared for. And it offers residents a wide variety of activities to help them both physically and cognitively. I would without hesitation recommend Clarendale of Chandler to any family considering assisted or memory care for an elderly member of their family.

My brother and his wife were living in another senior community in the area during Covid and after many months of eating off styrofoam containers in their apartment and basically being locked down, I began to question how other communities had responded to Covid. I found Clarendale and learned that while they had been very cautious, they also were operating more openly and had been successful at keeping Covid at bay! In June of 2021, they moved to Clarendale and have loved it!! The "Fun Team", led by Jody keeps everyone active and involved. Jude, the chef and his crew make fantastic food .... I frequently go over for lunch or dinner. The entire wait staff is very good and friendly! It all starts with a good leader and Ryan is great! He is highly visible and accessible to all the residents and their families. If you check around, you won't find a better senior community than Clarendale!

We were incredibly lucky to find such a caring staff at Clarendale. We were very fortunate that Clarendale allowed visitations (with all necessary safety precautions) during COVID, which was critical to the health and well-being of our parents. The nurses and caregivers truly care for the residents at this community. I have visited many different assisted living and nursing homes and this one is by far the best!

This is a brand new facility that opened a year ago that my Mom will be moving to from Dallas. Traci Jacobsen, the Director of Community relations, did an excellent job walking us through the facility and answering all our questions. My Mom will be in independent living and we really liked the spacious clean apartment with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Clarendale also has really nice assisted living apartments which are simply smaller apartments with a kitchenette. When the time comes for assisted living, you simply transition over to one of these and bring in the care you need. It has a cozy apartment feel and not a nursing home feel. Great way to spend your senior years.As a senior myself it is good to know this option exists when I can no longer live in my own home.

What a beautiful community!! This warm and welcoming independent living, assisted living and memory care community is new, modern and clean and provides affordable housing options for you or your loved one without the large buy-in fee. You wont have to leave the community should your health needs change because they have a continuum of care, making life changes a little easier as more care is needed. I have visited this facility many times and the ambiance and cleanliness of this facility is amazing. The staff are helpful as well as knowledgeable. I will be teaching AARP classes there eventually and the staff have been very helpful in setting this up and supporting AARP classes.

This facility is gorgeous! The layout is clean, well thought out, and organized with the residents in mind. As a Physical Therapist, I think the most impressive part to me was the fitness facility. They have a state of the art gym area with equipment specifically designed to be safe and easy to access for the elderly population. Their staff is friendly and easy to talk to - we have had numerous conversations during their grand opening, and in the months following, about various resources and amenities within the facility. I have recommended the Clarendale to several of my patients!

During this time of social distancing due to the pandemic COVID 19 virus, we are grateful she is in a safe secure environment. I love that my loved one can start in independent living; knowing assisted living and memory care is on-sight if it is needed later in life. Amazing staff and food too!

I am so impressed with this facility. I have been looking for a place that will be perfect for my mom, and this definitely hits all the requirements. I especially want to thank Susan for all the information she gave me about the place and all the great facilities, and activities included. I can quit looking. When it is time, I will feel that my mom will be happy here.

I moved my mom from CA to live with me in AZ this February. I had reached out to Clarendale even before they opened their new facility here in Chandler and Julie Mitchell is AMAZING! We were thinking of moving my mom to Clarendon but once we found out we had the extra room in our home, we kept her with us. And then we had the Pandemic. Julie has been so awesome at following up on my moms well being that she called one day just to see if we needed toilet paper or even hand saniters (which we had thankfully). She also said if my mom needed anything, she would be there for us. I would highly recommend this facility and having Julie by your side, I know you will be taken care of.

I visit Clarendale to serve some of the residents. My volunteer work has me visiting many facilities regularly. I have been very impressed with Clarendale right from the start. The facility is far superior to others that I visit. The building, the rooms, the ambiance, the staff, the food, the atmosphere, the care & the facilities provided are commendable. The personal touch & the genuine care & concern that I have observed & experienced is what makes Clarendale a cut above the others. The residents I know, have expressed to me, how very happy & fortunate they are to be here. I always find them upbeat & happy. I love the homely, family atmosphere that you are embraced with even as you enter the doors. Many who volunteer with me at various facilities, have shared with me, that Clarendale is where they have decided they would like to be when they get to a point in their lives when they will need to live in a facility. As for me, I havent touched 50 yet, but from what I have witnessed at many facilities I visit, I used to ask my son to promise me that he would never put me in a facility, but care for me at home when the time came. Im sure he was very relieved when I told him recently that I have finally found a place where he could safely leave me in the care of staff. Clarendale sure is a blessing to our community, & I feel honored to be able to serve the residents. Thank you to all the staff that make Clarendale a beautiful place to be.

My mother in law just moved into Clarendale. Due to the virus, all new residents are quarantined for 14 days. While her meal was dropped off, the attendant asked if there was anything else she needed. Mom said Im thirsty for some orange juice and I would like a newspaper. She offered to pay cash. The attendant smiled and mentioned she needed to continue meal deliveries before the food got cold. Mom called me and said she was so surprised within a half hour a paper and orange juice showed up at her door! Keep in mind shes 87 and moved here from Ohio. A very huge task for an elderly person. The move was very smooth; there were no bumps in the road. The staff helped us through all of the logistics.

I recently did a video tour of this facility, for I am looking for a place for my mother. I was impressed with the NEW facility, comfortable accommodations and the helpful staff. Susan helped me during my video visit, and it was so good to interact with someone who was not only very knowledgable about the facility and resources available, but genuinely cared about the people!

I own a local business, Titan Security Group LLC. Clarendale recently hosted me at their facility to present a class to residents on Fraud Awareness for Seniors (which the attendees loved!) The residents and staff were very friendly and the new facility was very nice and clean. I noticed they offer residents a lot of activities and things to do. I was impressed and would recommend!

From the very first contact my wife and I have been treated extremely well. The entire staff has bent over backwards to assist us transiting to the next chapter of our life. We are excited to meet our new neighbors and experience all Clarendale has to offer.
