Some of the nursing staff isn’t the greatest. They’re forgetful, lack comprehension, and compassion. Some of them are great, but there is definitely some bad apples among them. Management has been alright, but they cycle through management like crazy here - so remaining in contact usually proves difficult.

I believe very strongly in the power of effective communication. This includes both negative when things are subpar and positive when above average. I have experienced both at this facility. I feel it incumbent of myself to share the transformation that I have seen in the last 60 days. The metamorphosis has been incredible to be modest. Every aspect from staffing, housekeeping, meal quality, and individual resident attention has reached a level of excellence. I am so pleased to think that my voice may have been a small part heard by the people that have the ability to make these changes. I can not express my gratitude for making this the safe, and nurturing community that I entrust the welfare of my mother. I would strongly and absolutely recommend Traditions Of Camargo to anyone that is considering Assisted Living or Memory Care for their loved ones. A most sincere Thank You... SKJ

My parents live at traditions at camargo and it gives me a piece of mind knowing they are safe and happy there. The staff warm and welcoming. We searched the city for a place for them to call home & I’m glad we decided at traditions. Russ has been a huge help in organizing this transition. The nurses have been able to take charge and regulate my Mom’s diabetes. I cannot thank them enough!

The turnover rate for the staff is appalling and leads to inconsistent care. In 1.5 years there have been over 5 directors, heads of nursing, and several activity directors. Communication has often been challenging. That being said the current activity director has been very responsive and the current director seems to really care about the residents. The receptionists are fantastic.

Marilyn is an outstanding resident aide. She is friendly, compassionate, and follows through with all her caretaking duties. I'm confident that my husband will receive the care he deserves when Marilyn is involved. Please recognize her as a role model for others.

My name is James zavisin . I’ve been here at Tradition Madeira for going on four years in April. I have been around in and out of plenty of medical Institute and I qualify misty walls as probably the best nurse that I’ve ever seen and work with. She is most conscientious about her job she remembers everything. I’ll tell you what she bird dogs medicine on order like nobody else. I really appreciate what she does for Tradition. Lovely place to live I also like the food here I like most of the people I think I’ve been a positive person with everybody that I meet and love to play bridge and I found several people that are pretty good at it. I like the singing also I sang out a lot of times in my life. I can’t think of too many other things to say about this but again to absolutely cherish Misty and what she brings to the medical staff here at Tradition.

We moved our folks in mid December to assisted living. Our dad is full-time care and our mom is independent with some health issues. With little to no orientation, We only learn process and procedures as we go along. Including an emergency the first morning, after my dad arrived. Mom pressed both necklaces and went out in the hallway three times before she had to go to the nurses station which was empty And call 911. They don’t come when you pull the emergency button in the bathroom as well. It appears to be based on employees preferences with no schedule in place. Diaper changing needs change based on the aides needs as well. If they think you’re pressing the call button too much, they tell you they come every two hours unless he’s really so soiled he has to sit in it. We were sold on how beautiful this place was, The salon they can use (Which has no employee so it’s not available now). My parents have been woken in the middle of the night at 1:30 in the morning on Christmas Eve. They claim they forgot to give Dad one of his meds and tried to give it to him while he was laying flat. Of course, neither one of them could go back to sleep and we’re very upset. Please, please make sure you talk to others before you take the drastic step that you think you are lovingly supporting your parents when this facility is failing them. The first three weeks have been horrific when it comes to safety. There are some wonderful employees who have been kind to Mom And Dad. That we are extremely grateful for but still concerned for their safety with no process or procedures solidly in place. We now have to make decisions again on their future and support. Feeling very disappointed and sad that our trust is gone in Traditions.

I tried posting on the Traditions of West Chester but it took me here. I love the facility and it has been great for my MIL. Tammy the activities director is amazing and we love the care she puts into the activities. But I have noticed that the other activities coordinator - Val, has left my MIL to just sit and not do anything. My MIL said this isn’t the first time Val has let her down. Before Val started working there I had no problems but now I have to deal with my MIL not getting to her activities. Why is she still there?

Dad lived at Traditions Camargo for 1 1/2 years. His health declined during that time and the staff provided excellent care of him throughout. The nursing team communicated with his primary care doctor and was very attentive to the discharge notes following his hospital stays and helped me coordinate in-home rehab. There is lots of fellowship at the daily happy hours and many activities. He enjoyed his time, made friends and had fun. I can't recommend Traditions Camargo enough. They genuinely care.

My sister resided in assisted living at Traditions at Camargo for 1 1/2 years. We found it to be a very friendly and well maintained facility. The management staff was always available to discuss our needs or concerns. As her needs increased, the nursing staff worked with us ( family) to manage her care. There are several types of activities to participate in. It is up to each person to find their niche. My sister loved Bingo and found friends there along with companionship in the Dining Room for her meals. I highly recommend Traditions at Camargo. It was a comfort to our family to know that our sister was in a safe and caring facility.

My husband and I moved here in late 2019. This is the right place for us. We are comfortable in our spacious Independent Living apartment, we have great neighbors, friendly personnel, Management listens, and the location could not be better. I gave it four stars because there's always room for improvement, although I realize that during and after Covid it has been very difficult to get enough help in the kitchen, dining room, and cleaning departments.

I really like Traditions as does my Mother, who I visit there. We have had some issues with her medications on 2 occasions. I recommend new patients use the pharmacy associated with Traditions as opposed to refilling yourself. Also, ALWAYS follow up on everything!!!

I cannot think of a more competent and calm moving coordinator than DJ! He made our out of state move so easy and seamless! Whenever I see him around the facility he is always smiling and calm! I look forward to seeing him!!!

I am a medical social worker that has been in the Healthcare industry in the Greater Cincinnati area for my entire professional career of 20 years. With that being said, I have a very high standard of care I except for all my clients. This is especially important when families are deciding what is the best fit and appropriate community their loved one. Traditions at Camargo has been a refreshing newer option in senior living with superior care, customer service, communication and follow up. I work primarily with Stephanie Stoll, the marketing director, who allows the clients I send her to instantly feel at ease. Just as I do everything I can to make families feel they are in the best hands, so does Mrs. Stoll. Particularly with such an uncertainty in our future and the challenges with 2020, Traditions at Camargo has found safe ways for clients to be less anxious about their moving experience. The community is not only beautiful and offers many amenities for seniors, but also accommodate clients who need little to no care as well as seniors who require more care both physically and cognitively. We have had an excellent experience at Traditions so far! My grandma moved in during the pandemic, and everyone has been so helpful, friendly and genuinely concerned about the health and wellbeing of not only the residents but also of each other. Maria at the front desk is so welcoming and friendly. And the staff that stops by the room while I'm taking care of my grandma each know her name, smile, greet her directly and speak loud enough so she can hear them. And the place is new! It smells and looks like a brand-new hotel. The services and activities they offer seem abundant, although things have changed since we're in this pandemic. Makes sense to me. Regardless, Leigh (the activity director) is always coming up with new ways to engage the residents and celebrate the residents and staff. She also knows everyone and the residents all seem to love her. Steph (the community relations director) was incredibly thorough and honest. The whole staff seems to be responsive and genuinely concerned about providing a great experience for the residents.
