My mom has only been in Brookdale's memory facility for a month, but so far I am pleased with her care and services. They do a good job with cleaning the rooms and the caretakers are responsive to my questions and concerns. So far,so good!!

Wonderful community with caring and knowledgeable staff. Very attentive and sincere management team that is second to none. The community is minutes from beautiful Siesta Key and conveniently located to shops and dining. You won't regret giving them a look.

A resident 's phone is off the hook, busy signal for over a week so we have been unable to talk to each other. I contacted the nurses station to look into resetting the handle onto phone . I contacted the nurses station 4 times, the front desk 3 times yet the phone still needs attending. What other things are they also not attending to?

I am the daughter of a woman that has lived in Brookdale for the last 6 years due to a massive stroke that paralyzed her on half of her body. Her favorite thing to do in life was dance. But in the last 6 years Brookdale has helped keep her safe, fed and sincerely cared for! If you have a loved one that's looking I can highly recommend this facility as well as any Brookdale facility.

I am new to this community and I can say first hand that the staff and the executive director really care for the residents in the community. It feels like everyone is family. They have great pricing and the rooms are spacious and the community offers so many amenities and activities throughout the day.

The care and respect my mom received at Brookdale Phillippi Creek was absolutely beyond what I could have asked for. Apparently the changes in administration have brought it a long way. I did not experience any of the negative reviews I have read. Thank you to all the hard working staff, the nurses and nursing director. They were great problem solvers and listened when I needed something taken care of. My mom has since passed away. The respect and love we felt all the way through the dying experience was more than we could have asked for.

My dad moved to Brookdale Phillippi Creek last year and was forgetful, lonely and bored. I must say that after calling several times a day, he now has to be hunted down to take my calls. He is very involved in the exercise classes and pretty much anything they offer. He has even met a wonderful lady companion that has really given him back his zest for life. I wish we found Brookdale Phillippi Creek sooner and very happy with our choice. Many thanks to Karalyn Kibbey! We really appreciate all you've done for our family.

In February of 2020, after several months in Brookdale Phillippi Creek’s Assisted Living, my Mother-In-Law moved to the Clare Bridge Memory Care Unit. My wife’s family and I have been fortunate that she has come under the care of the wonderful staff at Clare Bridge. We are pleased to know that in these uncertain times, Brookdale is taking the utmost precautions for the safety of it's residents. In particular, Kathryn Soltanipour has gone above and beyond the call of duty many times during the last several months to care for our loved one. In addition, she has been more than willing to accommodate several of our special requests. During this time, my Mother-In-Law has grown incredibly fond of Kat, as has our family. Kat is truly an earthly Saint to all of us, and our family is so blessed that she is at Brookdale. Kat is our Superwoman!

I've been so happy and thankful for the Team at Brookdale Phillippi Creek over the last month since moving Mom into Assisted Living. From the moment I met and worked with Marketing & Sales Director, Karalyn, I felt comfortable and knew it was the right decision. Since moving in she, the Activities Director, Katie and other staff have been super helpful in making my Mom comfortable with living there from the quarantine required period at the beginning to adjusting to this new way of life once she could start taking part in their great programming. They are super responsive and helpful. Especially in these difficult times with COVID where we aren't able to visit our loved ones, I've so appreciated the support.

My mom was in the memory care unit for two years. The director of the unit has been available, caring, and attentive. I have had times where staff members were not readily available and times where the bathroom was not clean. Lately though the staff has been terrific and I have felt at peace. I would love to see more frequent cleaning. Housekeeping at once a week is not enough. The nurses and the director Kat cannot work any harder. They are exceptional and my heartfelt gratitude extends.

I am so happy I moved my dad to Brookdale Phillippi Creek! He seems so much happier being around other people, and not having to worry about what to eat or even the hassle of having to cook. My dad is a veteran, and your marketing director, Karalyn Kibbey, told us about VA benefits my dad was eligible for! We had no idea about that benefit, and are so grateful to Karalyn for telling us about it. What's really nice is my dad has met other veterans that live at Phillippi Creek, and they all love talking to each other! I highly recommend your company, and the great customer service and follow up we received from Karalyn! She is still checking in on us to make sure everything is going well. The staff at Brookdale Phillippi Creek go above and beyond for the residents and staff. Referring clients to Communities during the Covid pandemic is one of the hardest things I’ve done ... following up on my clients is very important to me and not being able to visit has been very difficult. The Marketing & Executive Directors have kept my clients and myself updated with emails, text messages and pictures. I was so hesitant to move my mother during Covid but it was time...I didn't want her isolated at home alone anymore and I had to return to my home and work. They sent me a video of the beautiful facility, very nice, clean and comfortable. After meeting Karalyn, she had everything arranged so nice and took the stress away from making this difficult decision we had to make. Also, just speaking with the nurse gave me comfort knowing she'll be well cared for. Thanks to all of you for your help and kindness. Mom is now safe, healthy and content!

My aunt moved in at Brookdale Philippi Creek few months ago. I have ufortunately not been able to visit her yet since I live abroad, but I hope that will be as soon as Covid-19 is over and the USA is opening up again. I have just seen pictures and spoken with their coordinator and my aunt friends have given me very positive picture of the facility and the care there. Another thing I am very happy about is that we (me and my familie) are able to speak to my aunt every week on FaceTime and that is so good to be able to see her regularly. What I see when I call her makes me feel that she is taken good care of.

Fabulous place with a great staff. My daughter who was in respite care reported that the food was good and the staff were great. Her bed was moved so that she wouldn't have far to walk to the bathroom. They were very attentive to her needs and provided individualized care. I was very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend and use this facility.

My grandmother was a resident of this facility for eight years. Our sweet lady passed away in January. What was so disappointing is that after she passed, an employee or employees stole multiple items (including jewelry and electronics) from her room before we had the ability to finish cleaning her apartment. There was zero accountability in this action from management. My family is still reeling from the shock and feeling of violation that this event caused.

At the end of May 2012, I was faced with a difficult decision to place an elderly uncle in an assisted living faciltiy. I was fortunate to have been contacted by one of the staff at Emeritus of Sarasota who offered to help in this matter. From the very start through the transistion of my uncle to Emeritus of Sarasota, I have found the staff to be incredibly helpful and offering assistance that can only be described as superb. The facility is warm and inviting. The environment created by the staff makes you feel like a part of an extended family. I would recommend to anyone looking for assistance with placement of a loved one to contact Emeritus of Sarasota. Thank you for being there to make this transition work so smoothly.
