I can't say enough good things about The Arboretum Senior Living. Our family was unexpectedly faced with finding a safe place for my 85-year-old grandmother on very short notice, and Tanya, Molly, and the entire team made what could have been an overwhelming process feel manageable. From the moment we walked in, everyone treated my grandmother with dignity, compassion, and genuine kindness. They took the time to answer every question, worked quickly to coordinate her move-in, and were thoughtful about her individual needs and our family's concerns. Knowing she's in a clean, welcoming, and caring environment has brought our family so much peace of mind. We're incredibly grateful for the professionalism and heart the staff has shown throughout this transition. Thank you for making a difficult time so much easier.

I didn’t usually do reviews but after seeing my mom and how the ED, Tina was so attentive and caring towards her, I know she will be a great addition. She was on the floor talking to residents and even though we seen staff on phones, she was right on top of it! Complete 360 from previous managers and this is exactly what is needed! I’m excited to see how the future plays out with someone who truly cares and has accountability to the staff. Please keep up the hard work because we appreciate you for this! Can’t wait to see more change by our care conference time.

I truly cannot say enough good things about the Arboretum Senior Living in Menomonee Falls! Finding the right place for my parents can be incredibly daunting process, but the team here has made the entire process seamless! From our very first visit, we felt welcomed and supported. Tanya Haswell, in particular, is exceptional; her presence, engagement, and genuine kindness are remarkable. Her dedication to the residents is evident in everything she does, and I find great peace of mind knowing my parents are in such capable and caring hands. Thank you for everything you have and continue to do for us! We could not have done this without you! The staff has been exemplary; every team member we have encountered has been professional, kind, and incredibly helpful with our every need. We have also thoroughly enjoyed meeting the other residents! The level of engagement here is wonderful. The monthly activities are incredibly diverse, ranging from movies and bingo to yoga, or simply enjoying a quiet lunch with a companion. My parents are thrilled to be making new friends and forming meaningful connections along the way. I want to reiterate how confident we are in our decision to join this community. Thank you for making this significant life transition such a positive experience for my parents and our entire family!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Arboretum in Menomonee Falls. The staff consistently treats residents with genuine respect, compassion, and dignity, creating an environment where clients truly feel valued and cared for. The quality of care is exceptional, and it is clear that the team goes above and beyond to ensure every resident’s needs are met. One of the standout aspects is the abundance of activities and engagement opportunities available. There is always something meaningful, fun, and enriching happening, which helps residents stay active, social, and connected. It’s reassuring to know loved ones are in a place that prioritizes not only their physical care but also their emotional well-being and quality of life. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring and supportive community for their loved one.

A wonderful and welcoming community! The team at The Arboretum goes above and beyond to ensure their residents are safe, healthy, and engaged. I’ve visited several times, and each time, I’m impressed by the resident engagement. There is a neighborhood feeling as you enter the building, and the residents are friendly and lively. A fantastic option for senior living!

Beautiful building since remodel. The staff is lovely and the food is great!
April 2026
My father had an apartment here and it's quite nice for a 55+ Independent senior living facility. The meals they served were actually pretty good. There were activities to participate in, a hair salon on site, a Drs office, a Wii for them to play, a corner devoted to nothing but puzzles and board games, and a beautiful fireplace area with cozy seating. You get the feeling you're in the woods when you're here. There's also a lovely pond with a nice pier. I can't wait to be 55. I'm immediately moving in here.

My 93 year old dad needed to move to the Arboretum to give him the support he needed at his age. The transition was a challenge; leaving his home for 69 years, everything he familiar with, and far outside his comfort zone. The staff of the Arboretum, from the highest level through to those simply serving meals, worked diligently to help him become comfortable. They are patient with him, carefully drawing him out of his shell and engaging with him. We’re glad he’s at the Arboretum.

My parents moved in 2 months ago. Both in a Memory Care Apartment, but mom easily joins in all the activities the Assisted Living side offers. The Caretakers come and collect dad often for activities, exercise class or just to socialize with others. The care has been kind and loving and my parents are truly enjoying it. Fantastic food is the cherry on top! Any newcomer problems they encountered, were swiftly handled with care. Huge KUDOS to Tanya, our personal fixer!!!!°

I was in another Independent/Assisted Living Facility that was bought out and changed everything there! The Arboretum was suggested to me after looking at many other facilities. I have been here almost 2 years now, and I am happy I made the change! It is a friendly atmosphere, plus providing meals, and covers a lot of the utility expenses. There are programs here that offer a variety of experiences so that people feel a part of this community. It is close to stores and health facilities too. Transportation is provided for shopping and other events! I can't offer more praise than this! Come and see for youreelf! Just an addition to my original comment. It is going on 3 years now, and I feel very safe in my home here. People come and go, but the spirit of new friendships remain. We have delicious meals served to us, lots of events to keep us entertained, or busy, and the knowledge of people caring for us.

Arboretum Senior Living Facebook November 21, 2025 My name is Kathie and I have been a resident at Arboretum Senior Living in Menomonee Falls since January, 2025. Moving here was one of the best decisions I have ever made. From the beginning, I was impressed with the Caring staff, welcoming environment, fun activities and the ease of management communications. I feel the 3 Chef’s create delicious meals with alternative choices if you don’t want the main entrée. My apartment is a one room studio apartment with kitchen and bathroom. It has two very large windows that brighten up my room. It's perfect for me. An activity calendar, at the beginning of each month, shows the planned events, activities, and offered outings as well as Birthday’s and detailed information on Arboretum updates. I am in a wheelchair and get assistance for showering, medications, laundry, housekeeping and some self care. I know that my family has peace of mind about my comfort and safety. I have many friends and neighbors that live in our Community. Whenever you live in a Senior place, you meet many personalities. Some personalities are more challenging to engage, just as is the world around us. However, I have found that a positive, shared smile approach makes all the difference in the world. I’m being candid here in stating honestly that no facility is perfect. There are many individual people, so not everyone is content with the status quo all the time. We have to be patient, and sometimes we have to “acquiesce.” It doesn’t mean you’ve lowered your standards or excepted less. It means "Attitude" Is everything. Approach life with a positive outlook, you’ll find internal joy more often then criticism. (I’m not trying to be condescending, just real). The Arboretum is my safe, enjoyable, forever Home Community and I love my life.

My parents moved into Independent living here at The Arboretum over three and a half years ago. It is a warm and welcoming environment with lots of other friendly and kind independent residents. Happy to say staffing has greatly improved over their time here - as many facilities struggled after Covid. Maintenance and Kitchen staff along with the receptionists are terrific. We are just starting assisted living services for my mom now in their same apartment which is a very new experience and adjustment for them, and the assisted living staff have thankfully been patient and understanding! Can definitely recommend Independent Living services here from our personal experience. We also are very happy with the "in-house" therapy company Paxxon. Another huge plus about the location is that it is only a block away from Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and the Town Hall health center! So convenient.

We moved my independent-living widowed father here a few days before Christmas 2023 and our whole experience has been positive. It's clear there has been a recent renovation and everything looks fresh. The staff has been very kind and enthusiastic, particularly, Avery. Any questions we've had along the way have been answered in a timely manner. Best of all, my father is happy! November 2025 **My father lived there 18 months before passing away in July. He enjoyed the friends he made and participating in some of the activities which brought him joy. In our experience, the front desk ladies (Nyah, Colleen, Joy and Amy), the activities folks and food service were really wonderful and caring. However, the business office staff are very hard to get in touch with once your loved one passes. Lots of repeated excuses of why emails/calls/texts weren't returned ('system is down', 'we have new billing software'). Very frustrating.

I have lived here for 2 years.i came with my husband who has passed away a year ago. I choose to stay here even though I’m independent and don’t currently need any services because everyone has been so caring and nice. Love the food and the people here. I have decided to move out to senior independent apartments more out of trying it out. I have a strong bond with the other residents here and help them since i drive, but i will be close by and plan on coming often. It has been my home and in the event my health needs change, I Will definitely come back home They have been working so hard to make improvements in an Older building in every way and making progress. I definitely recommend it as i have loved it here.

Upon entering the Arboretum I was greeted at the front door by the lovely receptionist niyah. She has the most welcoming and warming spirit . She definitely made the place glow . You can tell she knows her job very well.
October 2025
The staff is caring and compassionate and make me feel safe and happy. My family appreciates the daily support and attention I receive. The delicious meals are well balanced and a variety of engaging activities keep us socially and physically active. The Sinceri Administrative team is always available for questions, concerns and problem solving. They really listen and respect the residents. This is my home and I enjoy my neighbors and my life at the Arboretum.
August 2025
When you try to contact someone, no one answers! How can you run a facility when you cannot get ahold of anyone, not even the receptionist? What if there is an emergency? I cannot get the answers need about my mothers care. She is a rough client and the staff is somewhat helpful. Every time I try and reach someone to talk about her I get no answer. Can be very frustrating. This facility is no good. They kicked my mother out after she went to the hospital numerous times for falls. After 3 weeks in the hospital they told her she could not return. No one bothered to call and check on her even. They contimued to deliver her food and meds to her room with no one there. Very sad. Not one nures or director actually contacted usto see what was going on with her. 3 weeks??!!! She lived there for 5 years. Kim was upset to hear that she was moving out but told us that she could not return because they are a no lift facility. They do not do that. I would not send your family member here because turn over is so fast and they really do not care.
August 2025
A Warm and Welcoming Home From the very first time I visited The Arboretum, I knew it was something special. The Executive Director, Maggie, is not only highly present and engaged, but genuinely pleasant to work with. Her care and commitment to the residents are clear in everything she does, and it gives me great comfort knowing my grandmother is in such thoughtful hands. My grandmother absolutely thrives here. She lights up when talking about the wide variety of monthly activities”whether it’s karaoke, bingo, or bowling”and she has built genuine friendships through them. I’ve even joined her for a few events, and I can honestly say the joy in the room is contagious. The atmosphere is always cheerful, with residents and staff alike happy to be part of the community. It is wonderful to hear my grandmother laugh again! The Arboretum itself is spotless and well-maintained, with a warm greeting at the door every time you arrive. The secure sign-in and sign-out process gives me peace of mind that safety is a top priority. On top of that, their flexibility and affordability have made it possible for my grandmother to enjoy a rich, active, and connected lifestyle. If you’re looking for a senior living community that combines genuine care, vibrant activities, a clean and safe environment, and a sense of true belonging, The Arboretum is a place you can feel confident calling home.

Arboretum is not just the place where I live, it’s my home that I love. I’m surrounded by a family of caring friends, greeting me with smiles and warm wishes. Nature wraps me in beauty and funny squirrels and other animals who perform for me with their acrobatic feats and lovely songs. The dining room is the hub of conversation and food nourishing mind, body and soul. Fresh fruit, coffee, and juices are always set out for us to enjoy. 4-course meals are served with elegance and choices to satisfy any palate. Happy hour is twice per month to savor a unique experience of drinks and hors d’oevres, as well as culinary delights served weekly in the bistro. Activities are varied and planned to encourage healthy living through movement, creative artistry, and learning. Chair yoga, bowling, bingo, puzzles, and card games top the list of pastimes. Pets fulfill our dreams of unconditional love and acceptance wherever we go. I’m so grateful to share my life with the caring and kindness of friends and my new-found family!

When we first moved my husband's mom to Wisconsin 2 years ago, we looked at Arboretum and really liked it. She decided on a different independent living facility due to the fact that cable TV was included in their rent. She lived at this other facility for 1 1/2 years and was unhappy. When we realized that she was getting closer to needing additional services and that was something that her current home provided for private pay residents, which would not work for her situation. We began to look for another residence and went back to tour Arboretum with her. They had recently gone through some significant renovations which really brightened it up. She felt very comfortable and decided Arboretum would be her next home. She moved in almost 6 months ago and really enjoys the staff and has made many very good friends. She loves her balcony and all the wildlife that she sees right outside her window. The meals are hit and miss, according to her. We understand that they have been experiencing some staffing issues in the kitchen which seems to be a very common problem now a days. She feels very comfortable talking to the staff if she has a problem with anything. She is much happier and at 90 years old that speaks volumes.
August 2023
Warm and welcoming environment. Thoughtful and caring staff and experienced management.
April 2023
I have a family member that moved here from layton terrace. This is a much better facility and they provide much better care. Here at the arboretum they do not use temporary employees to provide care to the residents. This is key to the best experience possible for residents. Here my family member has received the thier meds as expected and not been told to take someone else's meds as had happened several times at the other facility. The meals are of better quality as well. Maintenance is more responsive. And access to nurses is much better. All in all a much better experience than layton terrace.
August 2022
My parent has lived here for 5 yrs. and things were pretty good. Recently, they were taken over by Sinceri and things have gone to heck. They've let many good people go and have not been able to replace them. Admin claims to be responsive but they are not. They care more about appearances than the residents or the employees.

December 2021
The Arboretum is a wonderful place for your loved ones! The staff is friendly and answers timely to your family member’s needs. The meals are delicious, and residents are always smiling. There are daily activities that many residents seem to enjoy. I would highly recommend the Arboretum to anyone looking for a happy home!
December 2021
We recently had to move my grandma to assisted living/memory care. Since she's been there, more often than not, when we arrive to visit she does not have her hearing aids in, her dentures in, a bra on...basic life necessities. She has a mild skin condition and needs lotion put on, wich they assured us is happening, yet when we arrive, it's clear this is not happening. We have called NUMEROUS times and have not gotten a response or a change. We finally connected with the director, so hopefully things change, but at this stage of life and how much we are paying, we expected a lot more than this treatment.
March 2019
My elderly mother has been a resident of this facility for over 15 years. For the first 14 years, we were absolutely thrilled to have her reside at the Arboretum based on phenomenal services, great food, friendly and skilled workers, lots of fun activities, etc. I often bragged about this place to people I would meet telling them that if they had a parent that was looking for a new home, they couldn't go wrong with the Arboretum. We were never overly satisfied with the apartment amenities however, since a (1) bedroom, (1) bath, standard apartment with no dishwasher, no garbage disposal, no laundry, etc., could cost as much as several thousand dollars per month. But, based on everything else that was being offered along with all of the friends my mother was able to associate with over the years, we were more than happy to overlook that. This year however, everything changed radically. We were informed, not officially, but through the grapevine, that new management had taken over. The changes that have occurred since are so remarkable, it feels as if she has moved to a new property altogether. Where do I start? Almost all of the original staff members I knew have either been fired, forced out or have quit due to the new rules and regulations, and who knows what else. Most all of the wonderful, helpful and loving staff members that we interacted with over the years are now gone. They have been replaced by many amateurs (in my humble opinion), many of whom lack people skills, experience and commons sense. Let me say that there are a few new workers who do seem to take pride in their jobs and are very fine people from what I have experienced personally. I can't speak for other staff members who I have not met personally. My mother is now living in assisted living after spending the first 14 years in her own independent apartment. The lunch room where she is fed three times per day is far down the hall from her room. She is now 93 years old and is wheelchair bound, yet, the workers expect her to get herself to the lunchroom. If you think that is bad, there are two women down the hall from her who are 101 years old. They are also told by staff to "grab onto the railings and pull yourselves to the lunchroom"! Unbelievable!! The food has gone from (in my opinion) very good to absolutely disgusting in just a few short months. I cannot even believe how bad it is. Often times, when a resident orders a particular meal, once they sit down to eat are told that they ran out of this or that and are given replacements. The best example I can give you of a meal there is this: A so called chicken dinner for my mother consisted of a dried-out, small, thin piece of chicken breast for the main course, about 1" by 2" in size and approximately 1/4" thick. It somewhat resembled a potato chip. It was so dry that she was "sawing at it for over two minutes" before I noticed she was having trouble. Trying to be nice she exclaimed, "it is hard to cut, but tender to chew." I highly doubt that. If it can't be cut with a knife, how is someone with false teeth going to chew it? The soup served there is not even soup. My mother recently described some potato soup they offered her that was supposed to be a creamed soup. In reality, it was very large chunks of potato with the burnt skins left on, floating in a cup of milk. When I approached one of the workers and described the soup exactly as I just stated, she agreed with me and said, "yes, it was potato's in milk". How she could even admit that to my face is beyond me. I could go on and on here, but probably have limited space and so, I will finish this up. If my mother had not been a resident here for so long and was not currently 93 years old, I would insist on moving her to another facility. In my opinion, it is unbelievable the lack of care and service at this facility despite the thousands of dollars they are making each month from each resident. [EDIT] Since I posted this review, the Arboretum staff, their food and services have improved. Thanks Arboretum for your help! 3 more stars!

Nice facility VERY Poor personal care of my loved one Care is more important would not recommend for anyone needing assistance of daily personal care
October 2018
When I first stepped into their community, I felt right at home. Seriously. You walk in, and you're greeted by a gorgeous common area with a fireplace and a cozy seating area that looks directly into the huge dining area. I didn't know exactly where to go at first as I was looking for the space where they held an event, but their receptionist did everything in her power to make sure I was guided to the right area. Not only that, she went out of her way to find the Marketing Director and other staff to inform them that I had arrived, and they all greeted me very warmly and friendly. And even during the event, when a few seniors were getting a little restless, Tosha the Lifestyle Coordinator knew exactly how to help the seniors to make sure they were cared for while also not interrupting the event that was being held. The seniors' needs came first, and I was impressed with that. Overall, my visit to The Arboretum was a positive experience!
March 2017
Visit often and would definitely refer anyone there! One of the best around! Cleanest, managed well and professionally responsive! No complaints from me. (And like so many others, they offer long term care: independent living, assisted living and memory care all at one facility.)

The dedication of the staff at The Arboretum is unparalleled to any other senior living community in the area. I am on the search for memory care for my Grandmother and was beyond impressed with the facility and the staff. Friendly, kind, considerate, and they pay such great attention to detail. When my family decides it is time for my grandmother to move into a senior living home, this will absolutely be the one we go with. I look forward to calling this my grandma's home.

Families and their loved ones are encouraged to do the following before deciding on a community.
- Schedule a tour and visit the physical location to make sure community description is accurate.
- Confirm with community manager that living and services required for you or your loved one's unique needs and budget are met.
- Check with state government websites for additional provider licensing and information.
If there is any information that is inaccurate or needs to be updated, please contact Assisted Living Center.
Assisted Living Center uses the term "assisted living" or "personal care" to inform users that a community provides assistance with some Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). It may not meet your state's legal definition required for that level of care.
