Staff truly cares about their residents; I was proactive in the care of my Mother, and Laurelwoods was accommodating in every aspect. Excellent communication from all levels of management. Facility is clean, and well decorated. Food was excellent. I now consider the staff as family. Thank you for everything Laurelwoods!

I just can’t explain how much I love and appreciate the staff here. To be honest I wasn’t happy about putting my mother in a facility and it weighed heavily on my heart until I came here and saw for myself how amazing every single staff member is. I hope the staff realizes how important that is to the family of the residents. I simply can’t explain how it lifted my heart with so much joy. I am truly grateful to each and every one here and you all will forever hold a special place in my heart. I pray God will bless you ALL always. I love visiting my grandpa, but the place could really use some music! It's so dreary and nobody talks to eachother during meals. Some music might make it better.

Krystal, Amanda & Paula were wonderful throughout the entire admissions process. We had heard nothing but good reviews before admitting my mother recently, and Laurelwoods live(s) up to its reputation. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, supportive, etc. and my mother loves the food! The residents also are very friendly and inviting, my mother has made friends quickly and is settling in nicely. I can't thank everyone at Laurelwoods enough for providing such a lovely community. God bless you all for what you do day after day .....

I continue to be overjoyed at the care my parents receive at LaurelWoods. Communication is always forthcoming and I feel assured the smallest details are tended to for not only their physical well-being but also their emotional well-being. Not an easy feat given Covid restrictions! My parents are healthier than they were when they moved in. The are also comfortable, content and quite attached to the staff which has quickly become extended family. I am so grateful!

I would like to commend the Activity Department on on all the fun, out-of-box activities that are offered to the residents. This is not your typical retirement community only offering Bingo and sing alongs. The drive-by parade featuring family members was a fantastic idea! Thank you for keeping the residents engaged and active during such a difficult time.

I am the Program Director for a contract Rehabilitation group and have been fortunate to be a part of this community for the past year. The staff has been very welcoming and supportive for myself and my staff, and they treat the residents with dignity and respect. Many of the employees give a lot back to the residents beyond just doing their jobs. After working in several settings Ive learned that you judge a place on whether or not you would place your loved ones there to be taken care of. I absolutely would trust the staff and management with the care of my family.

The staff was very helpful when we moved our mothers to Laurelwoods. The nurse and dietician met us when we checked in Saturday afternoon. They fixed a late lunch and asked questions to help with the transition. The director stopped by and has helped get everything arranged and connected to help make everyone comfortable. We are very happy with the positive environment.

This could have been an incredible nightmare of a transition from Mom living at home with us to moving into an assisted living facility.With Laurelwoods staff - it really has made this into something completely manageable given the difficulty of the situation.I couldnt recommend them more.

This is a place that feels like home. I love being on the side of a little mountain at the beginning of the Blue Ridge. The rooms are nice sized, lots of light. I love my third floor apartment, which is literally in the treetops. The staff here is caring and go the extra mile. The maintenance and housekeeping staffs are very warm and friendly. They are accommodating. I like that this community is small and everyone is friendly. Its just great to live here!!!

This company is amazing. The facility is beautiful the people are kind and theres always somebody trying to make you feel welcome. We all know those places that we can go to and walk in and immediately feel comfortable?! This is one of those places. The staff goes above and beyond for their community and all guests. Beautifully designed with the added plus of spacious rooms. Then theres the food!!!! Lets just say that food Ive never liked and refused to eat my whole life im now eatting because I learned if done right even spinnage can be delicious. Theres even activities throughout the day to keep you entertained with a amazing Movie Room. Theres so much to do and see.
