I stayed at Signature Pointe from February16 to April 9 this year as a rehab patient recovering from a serious foot surgery. Had no idea what to expect from such a long stay in assisted living but I had to have this surgery. I can say not only was I well taken care of, I enjoyed my time there and it was a little hard to say goodbye to some people. Nurses, the physical therapy staff, administration… Everyone was great! Attitude in that place was awesome and it was cool how everyone on staff got along and worked together. I was there long enough to get to know some of the residents on the first floor. That was fun and they all seemed to be very happy there. My insurance sent Signature Pointe to me as one of several options. I live close so I stopped in one afternoon late January and Ronald was gracious enough to take me on a tour. I told my surgeon and insurance Signature Pointe is where we are going. I'm still doing PT at home but as soon as I'm back in shoes I want to stop in to tell everyone on the third floor thanks again. I want to say I even had a lot of fun in there. (Totally unexpected) Think I'll check on some of my friends on the first floor. Rehab or assisted living, I would seriously look at Signature Pointe.

The hospital gave us a list of places for my mom for short term rehab. I went and toured with a lovely young lady, Abby, who was so sweet and knowledgable about what would happen. The stay was great and my mom was able to return home after about 3 weeks. Highly recommend!

Business Office My dad moved into the assisted living floor last fall and they have taken great care of him. But this review is about "V" in the business office. We were having a very difficult time getting my dad's long term care insurer pay our claims. "V" worked with me personally on several occasions, to work thru the barriers the insurer kept throwing up. She was tremendously helpful and an invaluable resource. Her help is greatly appreciated and is just another sign of the overall quality of the support and care your loved one will receive at Signature Pointe.

My mom needed Assisted Living so I looked for these things: her safety, good care, and an environment where she can be happy. Due to a fall mom needed Rehab care first and Signature Pointe is the only place I've seen that provides all levels of care. We spent a month in their Rehab and I got to see firsthand the level of medical care and custodial care that they provide and was very impressed. When released from Rehab we simply moved downstairs to Signature Pointe Assisted Living which was much less traumatic than changing places. The level of care is excellent and the food is pretty good. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it's clear they truly care about what they do. They treat their residents with respect. Mom is kinda picky but she is very happy with Signature Pointe and everyone on the staff. She's meeting other residents that say the same. The old saying is true: Mom's happy so I'm happy! Thanks Signature Pointe.

We were in a crisis mode for my family and Signature Point was a great solution and a great help with my mother. She needed emergency skilled nursing placement and the team was able to secure placement for her at a moments notice. Julie, the community relations representative was very helpful when selecting a place for my mother to live in order to be safe and cared for. The move in process was very easy and put our minds at ease knowing our mother would have access to socialization, activities, meals, medicine management and some independence while living at the facility. It's never easy making this choice for a loved one however we believe we have selected the right environment and location for my mother to thrive and live her best life. We are truly blessed to have the staff at Signature Point to oversee our mothers care at this stage in her life. The security we have knowing our mother is being cared for is a huge relief and we know she will blossom at Signature Point.

Visited 5 assisted living and memory care places and ended up choosing Signature Pointe for my mother. Signature Pointe is an all-in-one facility with Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing. I ended up choosing it not only for its location but for its staff and comfortable setting, i.e. dining area, courtyard, plenty of lighting, etc. The 1BR apartment had plenty of room for her furniture. Honestly, the apartments are a bit dated, but that's not what I cared about most. The staff for Assisted Living are all very welcoming, engaging and willing to work out the best path for senior adults to be in happier place. Talking with some of the residents, they seemed to be very happy at Signature Pointe. After initially moving my mother in, Julie, the sales rep, went out of her way to help my mother transition from rehab at another facility to the Assisted Living floor. She sold me on how much they try to engage with the residents and provide the care they need. Alysia, the Director of Nursing, is very transparent, communicative and willing to discuss the best careplan needed for my mother whose both mental and physical health were unfortunately declining fast. It's only been less than a month, but I would certainly refer Signature Pointe to others as an option.

My mom has has a terrible UTI. We finally found this wonderful place Singnature Pointe in Dallas. I have been extremely impressed with all of staff especially the social workers, administrator, and especially the nurses! My mom has the most wonderful nurses named Brooke (I am probably spelling that incorrectly!) and Melvin. The most important thing is that my mother loves her nurses! Mom also likes the facility and the food! She sees the doctor three times a week. They monitor her blood work several times a week, and they check her urine. They catch anything going on very fast! They have a love for their patients, and it is very obvious. I will give another update in a couple of weeks.

Mother was admitted in the rehab center. Service was very lacking. Not very many workers wanted to work. Staff were rude. Never return phone calls. There are several good workers there but majority of them are just there for a paycheck. The lady in charge name Trudy was extremely rude and does not want to help. She claimed that she had lots of patients and work on her plate, therefore not able to help everyone. What a shame for her to even made that statement!!!

My mom has been admitted to this facility twice. Both times she was transferred from Presby Plano. The first time she was admitted for short-term rehabilitation, to help improve her balance and ability to continue to live independently. Unfortunately she had to be admitted a second time for an acute change in her mental status ( confusion and short term memory loss). During her second stay, she was placed in the memory care unit and received short-term rehabilitation as well. After being at this facility for about 3 weeks she has improved tremendously! She went from being unable to have a coherent conversation to being able to have a normal conversation! I can't believe how quickly they were able to stabilize her and improve her overall well-being! She even gained some much needed weight! We thought she would need long term care, but thanks to Signature Point she is now at home with me and will do well with a sitter to help her with her ADL's!

I toured many different independent and assisted living communities and Signature Point for my mother, It was by far a standout in every aspect. Heather Garner did an excellent and thorough tour. She was extremely helpful and very compassionate. I also enjoyed meeting the activity director, Amanda who has the residents very engaged in many activity's. I am so pleased that we chose Signature Point. My mom is extremely happy there and it gives me a great peace of mind knowing she is surrounded by other people that help ensure she is happy. My relative has had mostly a horrible time. They don't bring the medicine on time . The food is mostly horrible and they have a very limited menu. Food is cold and they are out of certain things . The staff is occasionally rude. It depends on who you get. Most staff acts like they hate their job. This is what happens when the jobs are taken by people from another country. You will hardly see born Americans there.

I give 3 stars because many of the staff were nice & responsive when asked to do something. You have to advocate for memory care residents. It is hard work and needs proper training to understand memory care residents. The CNAs were left to train each other. The resident file notes were not updated or read from one day to next. We had 2 cameras in Moms room. At least 2 attendants were fired based on behavior caught on camera footage. CAMERAS ARE A MUST! We saw our mom everyday once or twice a day. The CNAs & nurses were typically put off by our constant visits. The exception was when they needed our help with giving Mom her meds or getting out of bed. She had RA and was in constant pain. They did not understand this fact. I was an approved volunteer, then informed by "Activities Director" that volunteers were no longer allowed. This was after I witnessed a male resident throw a female resident to the floor in the dining room. Her heard slammed to the floor. No CNA or nurse was paying attention because they were visiting with each other or on their phones. After I informed them of the details the response was "he gets agitated lately." Lady went to hospital. Mam went about his way. CNAs said they were short staffed in evenings. Seems volunteers would be able to help with the burden. We tried to help our mom with meals, showers, changing her bed, meds. ADON was great. She was new and trying to get the nurses & CNAs in line. She is no longer there. Weekends were a struggle. Internet would go out & cameras didn't work. Calls to the nurses station often went unanswered. 2 attendants were fired based on camera footage. Another time, we were asked if we could look at camera to tell nurse how Mom fell. It was because an attendant dressed Mom for bed after giving her evening meds. Attendant told Mom "go to bed when you are ready. I will be bsck to check on you." She left the room and closed the door. Mom was confused & medicated. Try to sit & fell backward with walker falling on her. Hit her head. She died a week later from brain bleed.

One of the most difficult times in ones life is caring for elderly parents. You have to decide about their living arrangements, whether or not to keep their cars, when to seek long term care, and eventually hospice. Unless youve assisted a friend or other family member with these challenges, you have to learn as you go; figuring out the next steps needed for your loved one and hoping you get it right. We had hoped our father would be able to go into assisted living at Signature Pointe, after rehabbing from a back injury. We searched and searched for a community where we thought he would thrive. Along this journey we encountered an incredible individual, Nancy, who helped us through this process. She took the time to listen to us while we explained where and what we thought Dad would need. She went through each of our concerns separately, and addressed each of them. For those concerns they couldnt accommodate, she offered other solutions. Not only was Nancy informative and happy to help, but kind and caring. My sweet Papa never made it to Signature Pointe, even though Nancy had let us get everything set up and ready for him. We all tried our best to will him healthy so he could live out his remaining time in such a nurturing place. This incredible woman went above and beyond to help us take care of our Dad. She followed up on his care, finding answers that we couldnt get to. All of this she did for him, and they had never met. She touched our hearts and helped us through this journey with grace. We honestly could not have done it without her. Thank you Nancy for your smile, kind words and loving heart. Dad would have loved you!

I cant say enough about Signature as the staff there are amazing. Nancy McCarthy is fabulous. She knows exactly what to recommend in each stage of care and is so very helpful and compassionate. y visit with Mom went GREAT!!! After I arrived I was told I could take her out! So we went and got a hair cut, nails polished and had lunch. She seems great and the person that assisted me was wonderful. Mom really likes Neil and looks forward to him coming and helping with Zoom. I did find out, Zoom works fine in the courtyard, which by the way is beautiful!!! Mom seems happy and I think she if better than she was a year ago when I saw her in South Carolina. I will be trying to come out about once a month to see her and take her to lunch and get hair cuts or whatever she needs.

Moving my brother from Chicago to Dallas and placing him in the best living environment was a hard choice, but the right choice. I personally toured and met with over a dozen communities that would best meet his needs as we went down this path. I have never regretted making the choice to move him into the Signature Pointe community in Dallas. From the beginning of working with their staff, through his move into his apartment and through his day to day routine, everyone has been wonderful. The community and the staff are always warm and inviting. They are quick to respond to not only my brothers needs but to my questions along the way. Nancy and Elisha were hands on from the beginning, helping me find the best apartment to suit his situation all the way through the move in process. Albeit he has lived there for many months, they both still continue to support us with their kindness and help, which Im sure is above and beyond their already busy daily routines. I just cant say enough about everyone who has touched our lives from there.

My Aunt was at Signature Point for rehab after her hip surgery. I would highly recommend Signature Point to anyone looking for a place for their family. Staff is very friendly and made my Aunt feel welcomed and right at home. The Therapy Team did an outstanding job getting her up and walking again! I am very thankful to have chosen a place that took such great care of my Aunt. Blair and Sandy were so helpful with their weekly updates! 5 STARS!

Their memory care staff has been exceptionally kind. Quinton and Sam are nurses in the Memory Care. They have both shown patience and compassion in very difficult situations.
