I had my girlfriends grandma staying here and came to visit with her and encounter several members, Claudia, Dana, and one more gentleman I can't recall the name. They were all kind and I was happy to see the treatment of patients. My mother is older and only pray to find a facility similar to this one. Great management!

I am so grateful for the care my mom receives here at CSL at Leigh Hall. All of the staff is compassionate, attentive, and truly takes the time to get to know each resident and their individual needs. They create a warm, loving environment where residents are treated with dignity, kindness, and genuine affection. Any concerns or requests are handled promptly, which gives our family great peace of mind. Since Mrs. Claudia Balarezo took over, I’ve noticed a tremendous positive difference. The improvements in communication, organization, and overall quality of care have been remarkable. A special thank-you to Mr. Dana Mayo, whose kindness, compassion, and dedication truly stands out. Dana consistently goes above and beyond to make both the residents and their families feel cared for, heard, and supported. His genuine warmth and commitment make a lasting difference, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he does. It’s comforting to know my mom is not only well cared for but also truly valued, loved, and treated like family. My Mom has been a resident at Leigh Hall for over 8 years now. I have been very impressed with how caring some of the staff members are there. Special recognition to the Med techs April, Ashley, Jeffrey, Renee, Mr. Tory and Mr. Mayo for always being willing to help the residents. April Collins is very detail oriented and attentive to any changes in status. The Leadership Team is very active and responsive to concerns from the family. The facility is very esthetically pleasing as well. They really need more help with though, it’s a lot of work taking care of patients.

Came in looking for a place for my father, building looked nice and clean, there was a lot of people in the front playing bingo enjoying themselves, there was some ladies in a little room off to the side getting their hair done, all the patients and staff appeared to be having a good time I sat down waiting for the wonderful and upbeat sales lady to give me a tour was approached by another staff member who introduced herself as the ARD with the biggest smile and most sweet country accent welcoming me to lee hall and asked if I've been helped she made small talk with me until it was time to tour the building in there memory unit patients was coloring and doing trivia all the staff in the unit greeted me with smiles, and the gentleman from maintenance was cracking jokes like he was an old friend it all just felt very relaxing and home like I was very pleased with what I saw

Family Day was a great celebration where we as a family had the opportunity to mingle with other family members. We were pleased to see our loved ones enjoyed the time of dancing, singing. The food served was very good to include the desert. Mr Dana and his crew did a great job. It Was a pleasure for us to see the new administrators personally

My experience at this place was today I went to use the public restroom that's downstairs when I arrived and it only had one roll of tissue in one stall that was a half roll and before I left I returned to that restroom to find the same situation - also the TV in my brother's room wasn't playing on set to any channel for him to watch - so I set there for at least an hour with him sleep and nothing to do hoping someone would stop in to check him so that I could at least watch the TV and not have to leave- and I decided to go down to office on his floor and ask the lady if she could get him some help with the TV she didn't seem too friendly said I could tell maintenance which I didn't know how to get in touch with. She picked up her phone and put it back down. Maybe a half hour later the you g Man came in to check on him and I asked him to fix the TV and he did‘ I feel being that my brother is a patient that can't do for himself should maybe be checked on a little more for his convenience. He is a good patient that doesn't do a lot of complaining. Make him comfortable!!!‘‘This is my opinion for that day only.

You can feel the love and compassion in the facility and that the staff enjoy working there. They are friendly and make you feel welcome. Brittany is so sweet and is such a breath of fresh air!

I visited my brother today and was blessed when I went through the door. I saw my brother and others working with staff Shafi exercising with balloons and paddles and I joined them. We went to the dining hall and the staff of Ce Ce, Tyresia, and others served the patients with love and care welcomed me, and allowed me to eat along with them. Ashley the medical personnel took care of the lady with a stomach problem. I met Erika Cruz and she was working and encouraging her staff. 10/30/2024

I would like to say April has been such a blessing, in so many ways, to my husband Edward and me. Whenever questions or issues arise she resolves them quickly and with ease. April goes above and beyond when it comes to my husband's care, which puts my mind at ease. She is always pleasant, patient, kind and reassuring. She keeps me informed of my husband's progress. Never once has she made me feel I am a bother. I thank God for April, her dedication in doing an outstanding job is admirable. My Wife and I find this to be great place. It is so spacious and very clean, the cleanest we've seen. The entire staff is very polite and helpful. You have a beautiful dining area. The setting is like a lu ery hotel. We can also see that the residents are well taken care of. That is most important. Your place is a standard model for Senior Living Care. Last evening 05/26/24 there was no where near enough staff on duty. There is not enough staff on payroll. These ladies are working double shifts. The staff that WAS there WORKED. Over worked, under paid. The staff was so few last evening, the residents were not allowed to do down for dinner. They were made to eat in their rooms. The amount of money monthly the residents pay far exceeds the number of staff on duty to care for their individual needs. To see a med tech 3 times a day is not sufficient interaction. Some residents really look forward to meal time. Interaction is important. It stimulates the senses, the mind. It gives residents the opportunity to chat with others if they choose. Some residents don't have family or friends to visit. Interaction is important. So, making the residents eat dinner on a Sunday in their rooms is for the convenience of whom? Who makes that decision? Executing that decision benefits who? Why is staffing at a bare minimum which isn't enough for the amount of residents in that building. From a safety concern, how can those few staff members execute a plan to safety if a fire broke out? Concerned.

My dad has been a resident going on two months now. Never seen him so happy and content. His room is perfect and has all the comforts of home. The place is very clean, and he raves over the meals. The staff has been outstanding and feels more like an extended family. We could not be more pleased.

I experienced for the first time having to research for my husband an assistant living community, I was referred to Commonwealth Senior Living by AJ of Caring. Com. I obtained a tour of the community very quickly and my daughter and I visited Commonwealth and were pleased to find that it is a beautiful place safe and person-centered, very nice, and spacious, and has every accommodation that anyone could ever want and need. I was greatly impressed. We were impressed with Erika Cruz, who assisted us with a tour. I would say the individuals appeared to be very comfortable, active and pleased. I was pleasantly surprised that the Commonwealth was the type of place where you could live with dignity and respect while still maintaining a good quality of life, Commonwealth offers a variety of activities in the form of computer accommodations, library,movies, fine dining, a spacious community area where everyone can commune and enjoy football, etc. just a great place for anybody to reside. my first time meeting the Commonwealth staff; the professionalism is top tier. The Commonwealth offers and maintains optimal care and a high quality of life and will be very happy there. I recommend the Commonwealth as a viable option when selecting an assistant living community. I wasn’t able to take advantage of what was offered. Sadly, my husband had another idea. However, I know the option is always available. I thank everyone who made our experience calm and pleasant as opposed to being a task. Thank you.

My 97 year old mother seems to be flourishing in this place. It looks like she has gained 15 years back on her life. My mother is looking at making it to 100. I have no doubt she will make it. She really likes it there and she says they take very good care of her and I contribute her increasing well being to the staff at Leigh. Go Dolly...you rock!

A few of the staff aren't acceptable employees. If I tell them something they give me an attitude as if I'm telling them what to do. If I behaved like them I would've been reported in a heartbeat. If a patient is ready to leave the dining room they SHOULD NOT have to wait a long time for someone to take them out. Especially when there is are employees just sitting around.

My husband was a resident at Leigh Hall for 3 1/2 years. I visited him every day and was very involved in his life at LH. I got to know the staff and residents well. I can not be more grateful for the caring and love that was shown to my husband, me, and our entire family. The caregivers are amazing. The attitude in the building is one of happiness. Nothing in this life is perfect but the way we were treated for those years told me I could trust the care of my husband to them even if I was not there every day. I have said that LH is an amazing place to live and we found out that it is also an amazing place to die. At the end the staff was present, caring, helpful and knew just what to do and say to our family. I will forever feel fortunate that we were a part of the CSL family at Leigh Hall.

My husband has been at Leigh Hall for 3 years. There have been a few hiccups, but I've always been able to express concerns honestly with the director and staff. My husband has wonderful care givers, kind and professional, often going above and beyond. Dana and Jessica, program directors, do everything they can to keep life upbeat for the residents. Torey, maintenance supervisor, is always willing to help. Junior, the chef, prepares delicious meals and knows what residents like. I'm glad my husband is here, being cared for and cared about.

The Customer Service and Services offered & given to the residents and visitors are very good. The medical staff seem to be a caring Group of Workers. Sharing, as a Courtesy will the Visitors be informed at the Reception/Sign In Desk that Covid/Flu cases are in the Building and let the visitor decide before signing in to precede with their Visit.
