My mom was at the New Perspective in Prior Lake. The facility was amazing during Covid! Did a superb job keeping everyone healthy!! The administrative staff and nurses are kind, very responsive and problem solvers. The direct care staff are so kind, work so hard to learn the preferences of each resident and the names of family. I felt they all worked hard to keep my mom out of the hospital and/or rehab and in her apartment which is where she wanted to be. I trusted them and felt my mom was in good hands. She was there a total of 5 years and they felt like family.

Our father resides at New Perspective Senior Living in Prior Lake where he initially lived independently before transitioning into assisted living. He feels safe and secure. We know he is well-cared for by the friendly and supportive staff. The aids have been a blessing!!! He is able to use his pendant when needed for assistance with prompt service. His apartment is spacious with all amenities needed. He enjoys the dining room and quality of the food. Breakfast is a favorite! We're thankful for New Perspective!

My family and I have had a very positive experience with New Perspective Senior Living in Prior Lake. My Mom recently moved in and we were extremely pleased with the process from start to finish. The decision to make the move was difficult for my Mom and the team at New Perspectives welcomed us for repeated visits as my Mom prepared to make that big change. They were patient, understanding and respectful of her feelings regarding this big decision. Once we decided to make the move, the team was helpful with every step of the process from choosing the right unit, to finding movers and making my Mom feel welcome from the moment she entered the building. They were with us on moving day, available to answer our many questions, and welcomed us to meet other residents, meet the staff and try a meal. The building is clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of all, the residents have made my Mom feel like a part of their community from her first day. Thank you, New Perspectives - we are grateful to jave found you!

Compassionate, understanding, going above and beyond & accommodating are just a few reasons why I am so thankful for New Perspective Prior Lake! My mom had moved in with me & my family from Des Moines rather suddenly after an extended hospital/skilled stay in Des Moines. Then, she had another hospital/skilled stay while living with us. We determined it wasn't possible for us to give my mom the care and attention she medically needed. I reached out to an agency who put me in contact with Trevor. Not only was Trevor unbelievably responsive, he met with us for 2 hours on a Saturday, he walked me through all the necessary paperwork, went out of his way to go to the nursing facility to meet my mom, got me a referral for a moving company, worked it out so my mom could get her initial assessment with their nurse and, to top it all off, was there to greet my mom on her first day with a hug and a reserved table for us to eat at in the most welcoming atmosphere! The nurse Tami was kind enough to shuffle her schedule to meet with my mom for her assessment, Bridget came to the apartment when I was getting it set up and introduced herself and assured me that if we needed anything, she would get it taken care of and even offered me a ride home because I locked my keys in my car. New Perspective treats you like FAMILY the minute you walk through the door. I feel at ease knowing my mom is safe, receiving the care and attention she needs, and is eating some pretty amazing food too! If you're looking for a great place for yourself or a loved one, look no further!

My mom recently moved in. I am impressed by the staff and how quickly they got to know my mom, me and my brother. She's met several people she already knew who live here, have family members here and even one person who works here. The workers face totally lit up, she got down on my mom's level and talked about how she knew my mom. My mom has already gone to some social activities and is looking forward to more. I originally intended to stay a week with her to help her adjust and get used to a new routine but I feel confident enough to leave a few days earlier than planned. We had to make the decision for assisted living suddenly so we didn't have much time to find a place. I'm so happy New Perspective had an opening and that we chose to have our mom move here after discharge from rehab. My mom is happier than she's been in several months.

I have lived here almost 7 years. I feel safe here most of the time. I am independent, so I don’t need caregivers, but they are very friendly whenever I meet them. The meals are almost always good. The servers are very friendly and helpful. I have had a few repairs in my apartment and they have been done very well. It is a good thing to not have to worry about stormy weather, snow, ice, and cutting grass. I also really enjoy the exercise classes. The shopping trips with the bus are so wonderful, too. Thank you all.

I have a client that I come to see 2x a week for 3 hours each time. He lives in independent living. For the most part I'm pretty impressed with the care people get here. However, I really wish my client could have someone come to his room every morning and night. Simply to give him a reminder, with a little bit of encouragement to remove his clothes and put his pj's on before he goes to bed. Then in the morning... Lay out his clean clothes out for him. He may need a little help with his socks and getting his arms in his shirt but that's all the help he would need . As is sits now. He wears the same clothes and underwear all week until I come to give him a shower.

Good response when you need assistance. Clean environment in common areas. Nice array of community activities. Food is pretty good. Friendly staff who are always happy to help. Sizable 1-bedroom apartment with nice layout.

My mother has been at the New Perspective Senior Living in Prior Lake for nearly three years, where the staff has always treated her with compassion and dignity; they cared about her and her well-being.Recently, we had to move her to Bettys Harbor (New Perspectives memory care unit). It was a challenging move for my mother, causing her to become distraught and agitated. Without going into specific details, the nurses, caretakers, and management all displayed loving support and understanding while walking my anxious mother (and the family members) through this arduous life transition. With their tender encouragement, mom has adjusted nicely to Bettys Harbor and loves living there.New Perspective Senior Living is a beautiful place that is clean and well-maintained. Mom loves it.

We highly recommend this community if you are looking for amazing care for your loved one. We toured many communities in the south metro before making a choice and New Perspective was at the top of our list. From the genuine personal experiences, the individual focus for each resident and the idea that there is a 200% effort made by each employee is exactly what we were looking for.The food is specially prepared by an amazing chef with a nutritious balance as focus, the planned activities are delightful and the community is quaint, clean and just perfect.

After looking at numerous living options for a family member, we were blessed to find New Perspective Senior Living of Prior Lake. We immediately knew New Perspective was a great fit for my Aunt. Coleen, the sales director was very thorough answering all of our questions and helped us through the entire process. My aunts apartment is so beautiful and spacious, with a full kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, walk-in shower, and in-unit laundry room! They have wonderful amenities. Charlotte, and the nursing staff have managed to successfully monitor the care of the residents while keeping them virus free. My aunt is genuinely happy and has commented several times about how caring Bridget, the director, and all the care staff are. She has been able to get the help she needs at New Perspective, and still maintain her independence.

New Perspective Senior Living (Prior Lake) is one of the greatest facilities I have had the pleasure of working at. The strong values of NPSL are clearly executed by the wonderful staff at this facility. The staff made me feel as if I was family right from the start, which was a rare and life-changing experience. The job I held at NPSL-PL was a blessing, and I would highly reccomend this facility for any potential employees or residents.

I visited the New Perspective Senior Living Community in Prior Lake today. A beautiful building, very nicely decorated. Loved the way the hall ways are so beautifully lit. Units are very roomy and staff is so friendly.

New Perspective has been taking great care of my father-in-law in Assisted Living for 3 months now. It has been a very easy transition for him, and he is 92! He has told me that every staff member is friendly, and kind and helpful and respectful. l have confirmed this during my visits because I feel so comfortable and welcome there myself! He eats all of his meals in the dining room and still comments about the quality, taste and generous portions of the meals and desserts. I think NP at all levels really cares about my Fils enjoyment of his day and his overall happiness. I think they go above and beyond to make surroundings pleasant, and events and celebrations fun. Examples being the beautiful and well cared for front porch flowers, and the way the parking lot was turned into a dinner picnic for a well attended National Night Out that drew many families. I really do love to visit him, and see him enjoying his new perspective!! He even continues to maintain his health in the fitness room on his own, after initially receiving some physical therapy there.

The staff they have are very nice but they need more staff on duty. They come off as being very affordable but the expenses for things that they conveniently forgot to tell you about when you signed up keep piling up in the thousands. The woman that helped us sign up forgot to mention many things and was very unorganized and kept giving us the wrong info and was not being very apologetic about it. So annoying.

My mother has been at the New Perspective facility in Prior Lake for nearly 16 months. The facility has been a wonderful place. It is very clean and the regular maintain and upkeep is performed. The staff members all know her by name and seem genuinely interested and caring. The kitchen is clean and the food is very good. Ive eaten there many times. There are activities every day and trips provided to local shops and restaurants. It has been a good experience for my mom, as well as the rest of the family.
