Reviews Harbor Campus
August 2024
I have been a resident in independent apartments at Harbor Campus for almost 8 months which is affiliated with Capri. I must tell you it is the most caring and compassionate facility. Being a retired nurse, I walk around the facility daily and observe the goings on. All (and I mean ALL) the employees from the top administration to the maintenance crew are so helpful and kind and greet you with a smile. They are so gentle with those who need assistance and see the needs even before being asked. The kitchen employees know us by name and even remember our likes and dislikes. We have oodles of activities and even enjoy Happy Hour! The administrator and assistant always have their door open and they listen to you and quick results are the norm. When moving to a new place, there are anxieties, but here they quickly vanish. Anybody who is considering the need to place a loved one in a place that really cares, come visit Harbor Campus! A happy resident, Judy Spagnolo

Until recently, my mother resided at Harbor Campus in Port Washington where she had been since 2010. During her tenure there, Carla Kostecki and the entire staff from maintenance to food service, did their best to ensure my mother's needs were met on a daily basis treating her with the utmost respect. My mother loved living in an environment where she felt like she was part of a larger family. I will not only miss visiting my mother, but also the kind and friendly staff who were there for us, especially when we needed them most. I cannot be more grateful for the staff at Harbor Campus.

My mother lived here from 2015 to 2024. She started in independent living. Moved to assisted living and eventually to memory care. Through it all, she always said I have nothing to complain about here. The staff always treated her with respect and kindness. She was happy and her family certainly appreciated it. Bingo was always the highlight of her week and when it happened multiple times a week, she was thrilled. They embraced my mother for who she was and her health care was taken serious to give her the best quality of life. Kathy, the activities director is a cut above and Nurses Jen and Amy are absolutely great. Thank you to all for making the end on my mother's life peaceful and happy.

Amazing staff, super friendly and very caring to the patients. Staff is always willing to listen and help guide you along this journey. Building is older but I find it brings more charm and character. My Mom's apartment is perfect with a ton of natural light.

The staff at Harbor Campus really care about their residents. There are many onsite activities for residents to participate in and enjoy; including games, crafts, themed events, live music and rickshaw rides in the summertime. There are many off-sight day trips and field trips as well. Lots of opportunities for your loved one to make friends and stay engaged. The staff has been great about keeping in contact with family, when the situation arises. Special shout out to Carla Kostecki and Maria Florczak for all they have done to support and care for my mother to ensure she is happy, safe and healthy. Thank you!

We are extremely happy with the care my father is receiving at Harbor Club. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. It is hard to schedule times to visit between all the activities they offer the residents.

I am writing this review as both a family member of a resident and as a health care professional who worked there. First my review as a health care provider- I have been an Occupational Therapist for nearly 30 years and have worked in many many different facilities throughout Milwaukee, Washington and Ozaukee counties. In late 2021 I took a short term home health OT job for Capri's in house therapy provider, and worked side by side with Harbor Campus staff on all units during my time there. I can emphatically say they ALL have hearts of gold and are beyond dedicated to the day to day quality of life for every resident there- independent, assisted and memory care residents alike. And I mean everyone from the caregivers to the housekeepers to the kitchen staff! Administration not only runs the day to day operations but also rolls up their sleeves to help where/when needed. There were many occasions that Carla the facility director was helping a resident in their room, or stepping up to clean bathrooms when days were short staffed. Carla herself acts as a team player in every aspect, and that is a rare thing to see! Staff rotate to each unit and as a result do not get pushed to the same burnout as if they worked with the same people all the time, AND all the staff becomes familiar with every resident in the facility. I cannot say enough how impressed I was with the staff's compassion, firmness when needed (because we all know our loved ones sometimes need a push!) and overall level of teamwork. Now my review as a family member- my mother in law arrived at Harbor Campus first as an independent woman in the apartments, but quickly progressed to needing assisted living and then memory care. This progression was over 3 years, and we got to know all of the staff extremely well. My mother in law had a wonderfully snarky attitude at times which the staff rolled with and came to love. Each step of the way they ALL treated her as a human- with dignity and respect, but also with love and humor as they would their own family. Because of my background I certainly had an eye on things more than others might, and I was beyond happy with every day my mother in law was there. I felt she was safe, cared for, attended to, and provided with meaningful interaction and activity every day. I recommended Harbor Club to a friend, and she has since provided a solid review here in Google as well. Please do yourself a favor and if you are looking for a new home for yourself or your loved one, call Harbor Club for a visit today.

Our mother loves her room and is very happy at Harbor Campus. She loves all the caregivers and activities that she participates in... especially the singing!
July 2023
The Harbor Club has been a wonderful assisted living facility for my mother. From the onboarding to ongoing care and living, the staff has been welcoming and extremely attentive. Mother loves being with her friends and she enjoys some of the many activities that are available. The transition from home could not have gone as well without the enthusiastic staff "village" that care for her. Thank you to all!

We could not be happier with the care our mom has been receiving at Harbor Club. The Assisted Living caregivers and RNs truly care about the residents. They are attentive and take the time to listen and focus on their health and wellbeing. The facility is clean and the people are kind. It's been a wonderful experience!

Harbor Campus has the home of my Mom and Dad for the past 3+ years. My folks have loved every minute of their time there and it is because of the professional staff, the activities coordinators, and the residents, themselves. The atmosphere is one of happy people wanting to live and enjoy their time in a family setting. Although my Dad recently passed away, he was loved by all and truly cherished his time as a Harbor Campus resident and family member. A special thanks to Carla K. and Diane N. as well as Maria...who spent many a day brightening my Dad's day, with song. To everyone associated with the Nursing staff, all caregivers, and the Allay Hospice group - "THANK YOU" sincerely for being a place my Dad loved calling "home" and a place my Mom cherishes calling home.
June 2023
The staff at Harbor treated my grandma like she was their own. I watched her face light up anytime someone walked in the room. They all had their inside jokes with her and made her smile every day. In her final days, our family was around all day and night and they were so gracious in our time of grief and unknowing. I’m so grateful for their care.
June 2023
Thank you for taking such good care of my Grandma Millie!
June 2023
Amazing Staff - friendly, personable and caring!

Many thanks to Maria and Karla for getting our mother in The Cove on an emergency basis. She has just been there for only 2 weeks and so far everything is going well. She has adjusted well and communication with staff is good. Glad we were able to get her into a safe facility. The Kraft and Szpara Family

Great care for my mother, Mildred Prom during her time at Harbor Club. Friendly staff and well maintained facility where she felt safe and enjoyed all the activities and services.
May 2023
Kathy, the Care Coordinator in the Cove at Harbor Campus is special, not only to the residents but to their families as well. She is very dedicated, compassionate, understanding and patient. All the residents are treated so special, and she takes into consideration each individual's interests. The days are filled with fun activities that make those with memory challenges relax and feel useful. Thank you Kathy and all the wonderful caregivers who give their all for the residents!

This is my mother's 3rd care facility that she has lived in over the past 11 years & is hands down the best. Wish we would have found this place from the start. I have a critical eye when it comes to service &/or care & I am delighted to say that Harbor Campus not only meets the needs of it's residents but it exceeds them. From the care givers, to the activites, to the safety precautions taken, I highly recommend this facility & understand how important 'real' reviews are. This is a 'real' review-I don't take my mother's care lightly. Trust me when I say you can be rest assured with your parent living here. Attached is a photo of a singer performing for the residents that says it all. The majority of them are sitting around the corner out of camera angle but they were smiling ear to ear. Thank you HC for taking such great care of my favorite person in the world.
December 2022
Capri Harbor Campus has been wonderful for my father! The staff is caring and interested in the residents. There are so many activities everyday and my father has become very social instead of spending time alone until we could visit in the evenings. He is happy and we know he is well cared for. Thank you to all the staff at Capri Harbor Campus!
November 2022
I see my mom every month and stay a couple of days. It is reassuring to hear other visitors walking around & commenting on how clean & caring Harbor Campus is each time they visit. I couldn't help but post this video of their front desk employee, Kay, who seems to do everything, releasing monarchs she raised to help their plight. It's things like this that make a long-term care facility feel like home. Thanks for all you do Harbor Club to make my mom's life better.
October 2022

I am a home hospice nurse, and I often go into Harbor Campus to visit a couple of my patients. Harbor campus is one of my favorite facilities to work with. The staff is so on top of everything, that often times I get to spend a lot of my visit just socializing and spending time with my patients. The nursing staff at Harbor Campus makes my job easy, and I can tell that they truly care about their residents.
April 2022
I had the pleasure to attend the Senior Prom at the Cove in Harbor Campus. Kathy Wenzel did a fantastic job planning and executing this heartwarming event. My Mother in Law (and others) were so happy and full of life during this event. I will have the cherished memory of the glow from the residents faces. Thank you again Kathy and staff.
November 2021
Just wanted to share that I am so impressed with the caregivers in The Cove. They have made my Mom's transition to memory care a positive experience. I especially want to share my appreciation for Kathy, the activities director. She plans meaningful and engaging experiences for the residents and treats each resident with dignity. I have been very impressed with Kathy since she began her duties as a housekeeper in The Club. She went above and beyond even then, playing piano duets with my Mom, and even purchasing matching outfits for their performances! I'd like to thank Kathy, and all the hardworking caregivers, for your dedication and kindness!
