I definitely chose the right place retire to! So many activities and friendly people. I want to give a shout out to the ladies on the front desk. Miss Shelly and Miss Rebecca couldn't be more helpful. Rony always has a smile for me and Adrianna, Antionique, and Milton make my dinner more enjoyable. I couldn't live without Judy in housekeeping, (where has she been all my life). It's a great place to live. I'm so happy I'm here!

I’m I have been a resident since August 2020 in the D tower! The grounds are beautiful, love all the activities, like exercise , Yoga and putting and feel so secure at Cypress! My granddaughter likes to visit and play bingo ,eat at the Loon and do puzzles! The staff are the best and make everyone feel welcome! Love living at Cypress Village! I am so happy to have Debra , Dean and Nick to take me to my appointments!They are so pleasant and easy to talk to that it makes the rides shorter! Debra in housekeeping always makes my apartment sparkle and shine ! She helps keep my plants alive when I am gone and blows off my balcony and keeps it tidy! Lily in the Loon is always so pleasant and efficient! She checks back to see if you need anything else! She is a real jewel of an employee! Thanks Cypress for having these great employees! 2026 Just came back from 3week vacation to a spotless apartment and my balcony had been pressure washed ! Attended a balance class with my good friend Deb Goin and had my walker fixed by the DME nice folks that come monthly !A pleasant ride with Sam to my Dr appointment then dinner with friends to celebrate Elizabeth s birthday ! We've lived here in a beautiful home on a lovely pond for 6 1/2 years. The staff, amenities and locale drew us from our home in Maine and we've never regretted it. Our needs were well taken care of during the difficult restrictions during the recent pandemic, including vaccinations and booster shots for all who wished. Residents were kept apprised of the regional, local and Cypress Village statistics via the weekly videotaped Coffee Chat, available to watch on the in-house TV channel. It gave us peace of mind knowing how the pandemic was being handled in our community. All of our well being is thoughtfully cared for: mental and emotional and physical! High praise for Cypress Village!!! Update June 21, 2024. Same comments and with confirmation that we made the right decision 8 1/2 years ago!! Better to be 5 minutes early than 15 minutes late choosing a CCRC! July 15 2026, now residents 10 1/2 years! Two of the best helpers at the Concierge desk were very helpful today, Michele and Shelly. My problem is resolved, thanks to them!!

Cypress village is a wonderful place! They take each and every person's needs into consideration and are constantly creating care plans for people as their needs change/evolve. They pay attention to detail and stay on top of people's needs to ensure long term success! I have the pleasure of interacting with Elizabeth Morton, director of nursing for the assisted living side (ALF) and she is truly wonderful to work with alongside Jennifer Peterson and Jessica Briand in the memory care unit of the ALF. They love the residents like they are their own and that is definitely something to take into consideration when placing yourself or your loved one into a facility.

We moved to Cypress Village two years ago and knew immediately that it was a great decision for this time in our lives. Everyone (staff and other residents) made us feel welcome immediately. I would like to give a shout out to the special people with whom we have had interaction - there are many, many. Dining: the two Tylers, Emma, Hayley, Christie, Kandacia, Koby, Tyreek, Milton, Aaron, Lon’na, Addison, Avery, Aide, Kristjana, Ella, and LaToya to name just a few. And can’t forget Chef Dave and Justin. Administration: Laurel Mundell and her Concierge staff of Michelle, Shelley, Carolyn, Rebecca and Nancy. Housekeeping: run so well by Natalie and her staff, especially Tiffany, our housekeeper, and of course Jose. Maintenance: Dave and Joe, and awesome Mike, who takes such good care of the residents in the Towers. Community Life: Breanne and Jae. I don’t know how they come up with so many wonderful activities for the residents every month.

Cypress Village does a lot of things right. It is a very active community with an abundance of activities ” both community sponsored and resident lead. The convenience of living in an apartment and having dining, doctors, physical therapy, exercise classes and a gym, musical performances, movies, knitting group, games, informative lectures and more under one roof is very appealing. One of the greatest attributes of the HR team is its ability to hire the friendliest, most courteous, eager to work employees. The Concierge Team of Michelle, Shelly, Becca, Carolyn and Nancy are exemplary greeters, problem solvers, helpers ” always ready, willing and able to assist the residents and their pets with their needs. Breanne and Jae of the Activities Team do an exceptional job of scheduling activities on and off campus, as well as keeping the residents informed of the activities. The Wellness Team has a variety of fitness classes for all levels. With Ashley and Chrissy at the helm, they have excellent fitness instructors in Deb, Cindy, Akinya and Michelle. Their extensive experience and qualifications keep the classes safe, challenging, engaging, and fun for the participants. The Dining services team continues to refine the skills of its servers, expediters and assistants. But it’s the friendly faces and courteous attitudes of Alexandria, Milton, LaToya, Tyreek, Addison, Courtney, Koby, Lon-na, Chloe, Grace, Avery, Korina, Anthonique, Adrienna, Kristjana, Austin, Emma, and Hailey who are exceptionally efficient, kind and uplifting. Housekeeping/Environmental Services has the monumental job of keeping the community clean and tidy. Natalie runs the department with excellent efficiency and always with a smile and can-do attitude. Our housekeeper, Carla, is a very special person. She keeps our home clean and is sweet, friendly, and personable. Of utmost importance is the welcoming and friendly nature of the staff, most residents too. It’s a homey feel.

My parents are in assisted living at Cypress Village. They were in independent living for 8 years and now 3 years in assisted living. I’m very happy with their care and the attentiveness of the staff most of the time. Sometimes it takes a little longer than usual when mom presses her pendant for assistance but it’s because they are helping other residents. The employees I deal with the most are Elizabeth, Sabrina Pennman and Jasmine E. They know me by name and alert me when needed. Mom and dad are fond of them too. Sometimes, care for seniors is a thankless job, but I always appreciate the extra efforts they make.

I like living here. The residents are very friendly. The Concierge desk is fabulous. Becca, Michelle, Shelly and Carolyn know what they're doing and are EXTREMELY helpful. I think dining has improved tremendously. All the servers in dining are wonderful. Kobe, Avery, Tyrek, Addison, Adrianna, Arianna. The supervisors Emma and Haylee are outstanding . Tyler P and Tyler R have improved the dining experience at Cypress ten fold. Kudos to the whole team. I would like to tell all the servers in the Loons Nest how wonderful the staff is. I’ve been resident here at Cypress Village for two and a half years. For the past eight months I’ve been involved with gardening program, half of which involved the Health Care Center. I had the great opportunity to interact with, and observe, three individuals almost daily. These three employees are always very attentive to patient well being. Their professional interaction with daily entertainment and activities was amazing. They are upbeat, caring and always busy with the residents. These three staff are: Queenie, Rhoda, and Clarissa. It is my great pleasure to work with them! The ladies at the Concierge desk are exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful in every way possible. Shelly, Michelle, Becca, and Carolyn’s people skills are out of this world. It is a pleasure to live here and see them smiling day in and day out. Dave Green, Mike M., and Brandon in Maintenance are all terrific and timely in their responses, as well. Their work is extraordinary and we can always count on them to get things done. Christina and Emma in Dining are always some friendly faces to see. They’re quick to respond to any specific individual dining issues and always see such issues through.

They always have a smile & are willing to help. I also want to mention Heather in IHS who helped us set up emergency care plans. She was very helpful & knowledgeable. Juan in Maintenance is the best. He knows his stuff & works hard to resolve any problems.

The concierge desk staff is fabulous! They go out of their way to help with every issue. They greet every visitor cheerfully and remember all of those who come regularly! They are a perfect first impression of Cypress Village. And, they are a key stop for every CV pet” they have treats for all the pups! The ladies of the concierge desk are Becca, Carolyn,Shelly,Nancy and Michelle! Casual dining in the Loon is great for breakfast: Ahmad cooks a fabulous start of the day and Tristan, Tandy and LaToya make sure we have great service. The lunch and dinner servers are terrific and a great team: Brielle, Anthony, Creziel, Pia and Shyann, Housekeeping services under Natalie are great for both the common areas and my apartment. When I needed maintenance assistance, Jeremiah, Brandon and Mike get the job done right and right away! Way better than having to find someone to do it like I had to do before I moved here.

I love this place. Me and my father went in and I had questions about his bill. Tiffany helped me out and explained everything we needed. Another time, I was visiting family and I got turned around. I ran into a worker. Her name was Rachael, she helped me find my way around and she was so nice and courteous. I didn’t even feel embarrassed for missing the signs on the wall. Everyone I have interacted with has very helpful.

So many exciting new changes in our newly-decorated dining rooms. Ate in Lakeside dining last night where employees like Sally Chew and Junior Petit are working hard to impress with longer term food service with , Land Breanne made our experience even better. Great food and fun times in the Loon's Nest still after our 5 years residence in the Towers. Activities and trips complete our good times in the Towers at Cypress Village. Update: (June 2025)I know this is an older review but now my husband and I have lived here for 6 years in the 'Towers," and are still happy and enjoying the benefits of living at Cypress Village in 2025. We just text or call Maintenance' to fix any physical problems in our apartment 'Mike' is right here to fix it. If our car goes to the shop, transportation can get us a ride to where we need to go, see Tim. If we need a meal delivered from one of 3 dining rooms contact Dining...Michaela or Emma are ready to help... Uh oh...wall to wall bedroom carpet needs cleaning and stretching...Natalie in housekeeping can set it up while we go on a group luxury cruise with Cypress friends. Friday dance music in the Loon's Nest after dinner and drinks at the bar. Or a party in the private dining room with Kandace making arrangements for a special party. Excursions to plays and Symphony and museums or just a quiet read in our own library..what more could we want with friends, like family in Cypress Village. (Tom & Gerry Clare) _______ 6/19/26 Still 5 stars but just updating my last review for 2026 to recognize the great staff we have at Cypress Village, especially in Housekeeping (Yanelli Gomez) and in laundry (Ana Munguidi)...of course we now even have a handy robot named the Whiz, who keeps the halls and common areas clean every day... Concierge desk; Michelle, Shelly, Becca and Carolyn have some incredible challenges to meet and they do it with a smile. Dining - the Loon's Nest -the biggest challenge of our wonderful 3 places to eat...with only a few reservations, it can be a tough job to run the bar and the full service tables as well...much credit to Christie, Brielle and Liz who manage with a smile and a great waitstaff of Anthony, Shyanne, Zac, Crezell, Pia, Devon and, of course Gary, Ahmad, Tristan and Tandy cooking and (Kandacia) - banquets, PDR and Egret Hall as well. I have had the experience of dining at Cypress Village on multiple occasions with several organizations I am a member of. The business office with Tiffany, Emily, Katie, and Candice have always been helpful in arranging things leading to wonderful events. In addition, the dining room staff from the servers, bartenders and kitchen crew always deliver quality food and drink. It is our go-to place for many of our events. Well done!

The loons nest is a great place to visit in Cypress Village. Their staff is amazing Anthony Pia Keshawn, Crezel, Brielle, Shay, Dallas, Zack, Gary, and Liz they all make the place enjoyable. And of course Christie is always attentive and helpful. Kudos to the loon’s nest.

I have lived at (and loved) Cypress Village since December 2015. It is a wonderful, friendly & welcoming community. I had knee replacement surgery in April and was able to come home to my apartment straight from the hospital because of the great support systems available. The availability of in-house Physical Therapy was great. I had a talented caring therapist and we achieved the goals set by the doctor within a month of the surgery. I made a great decision coming here for a lot of reasons. One of those reasons is the Concierge team. Michelle, Carolyn, Shelly and Becca are amazing. I’d also like to recognize our great departments and employees housekeeping Les Jose Natalie Sandra, business office Katie and Candice, dining has incredible staff such a Kobe, Haylee, Latoya, Tyler Pezak, tyreek, Kandacia, Gary cooks the best food, tandy nd Tristan, Maxine, Joseph, Henry in security, Jae, Breanne, and maintenance is awesome from DAVE all the way down to mike, Michael, Brandon and others!

I happened to be in the area today and visited a family friend that I haven't seen in a while. While there, we decided to have lunch in the dining room. I really give credit to the kitchen staff and the whole dining department. The area was spotless and setup beautiful, not to mention that the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was very kind and attentive to the guest. Always enjoy visiting the Loon's Nest at Cypress Village. The staff IS SO good, to include bartenders Anthony, Creziel and Shyann, who also double as servers. They are all so responsive and very helpful. Tyler Ramos and Tyler Pezak, who oversee the Loon's Nest as part of their overall dinilng responsibilities, are quite easy to get along with. And fellow diners, such as Ron Toth, make eating at Cypress FUN.

A wonderful place to live, with friendly staff who are very available and attentive to the needs of the residents. The executive Director Ty Morgan and the whole executive office and administrative staff”Katie Amador, Laurel Mundell, Sarra Ninyan”are always accessible. There are lots of activities, planned by Breanne Eagle and Jae Ellis who are always happy to make us happy with lots of fun things to do and places to go. There is something for everyone, and a great indoor pool.

I want to thank Cypress Village, and especially its Banquet Staff and Kandacia Sims its Banquets Coordinator, for a truly lovely evening celebrating my Mother's Birthday. Cypress Village accommodated a well planned champagne reception with hors d'oeuvres followed by lovely dinner for 70 quests. Kandacia's event planning and suggestions - - as well as Cypress Village's food preparation, music, decor, and service - - all made for a memorable evening that my Mother and her guests will remember with a smile. I can not say enough about how grateful I am for everyone's efforts in assisting my family, extended family, and Mother's friends in the warm and fun celebration we enjoyed. Having lived at Cypress Village for almost a year I can say that I made the right decision to move here. The friendliness of the residents makes this a good place to live, but the care we receive from all the staff makes the real difference. The ladies at the Concierge Desk (Michelle, Shelly, Carolyn, Becca, Nancy) look after us and frankly spoil us. The maintenance staff is quick to respond and good at what they do, especially Brandon and Mike. No matter which of the restaurants you choose to dine in there are staff who go out of their way to not only provide professional service but to be positive and cheerful while doing it. While reluctant to name people for fear I will leave someone off, there are standouts I wish to mention. In 4600 Lakeside, LaToya, Addison, Adrianna, and Tyreek are always wonderful. Courtney, Austin, and Payten are great to see in Middleton's. Loon’s Nest has a casual and welcoming ambiance fostered by Pia, Anthony, and Cruziel. Environmental Services not only helps keep my apartment clean, but they care so well for all of the public areas. The notable thing about all the staff at Cypress Village is that they do not seem to be here solely to do a job but to cheerfully do so and make this a wonderful place to live.

Housekeeping is great (Les?), transportation is very helpful no getting me to appointments, dining could use improvement on good temperatures but the billing office is very helpful- Katie, Candice and Emily have been awesome! Maintenance is prompt especially Brandon. And security ia helpful as well Chandler and team!
