My mother has been living at Park Senior Villa - La Canada for a couple months now. After several hospitalizations, we realized mom needed a higher level of care than her previous facility could provide. The Villas are perfect with low resident to caregiver ratio 24/7, fresh cooked meals, and lots of activities that mom enjoys. We are extremely pleased with the facilities and care she is receiving there and are so glad we found the perfect place for mom.

My sister and I toured many options in Tucson before choosing Park Senior Villas. Initially, the facility itself was a selling point. Some of the other options are a little "over the top" and do not have a "homey" vibe while others are too homey - lazy boy chairs lined up in front of a TV and a yard that looks neglected. We also VERY much liked that when Dad moves into Arizona Adult Long Term Care, he can stay right where he is and will not need to move into a room with a roommate and move out his personal furniture as we were told at another facility. This facility also allowed Dad to have his dog and his fish tank! The villas are set up in small groupings of ten residents per house with a comfortable living/dining and kitchen space with attractive outdoor spaces to gather with visitors that have safe sidewalks. An easy distance to the outside and my dad can visit with his new friends, puff a cigarette and has a collection of plants that he waters and bird feeders that he has always enjoyed. My dad has an attractive room with a private bathroom (I believe all rooms have a private bathroom) and he is surrounded by his family antiques and furniture, books, plants - it is almost like his living room at his previous home! Much more importantly, however, is his care. Janice, who was the intake specialist, made me feel at peace in this decision when she said, "now you can be his daughters again", meaning, we did not have to worry or remind him to eat or get frustrated that he was risking a fall by not using his walker. Now we could visit and laugh, pick him up and go to lunch. AND, before moving Dad into the villas, I honestly believe he was on the brink of death. Now, he has gained weight, has color back in his face, is joking and participating in conversations, has not been falling (he had been falling regularly before moving there), he gets a regular shower and three meals a day AND, he has even met another resident and is in love! The staff that work is Dad's villa are cheerful and helpful and hardworking. The peace of mind that me and my sister's and the rest of the family have is PRICELESS!

We had great recommendations going into this facility and they have lived up to the great things said about them. Janice has made every step of this stressful process warm and personable and goes above and beyond to support our family even though he is all settled. The nursing staff lead by Jenn has been attentive and communicative and the daily staff in his villa make him feel safe and keep him laughing. They even went as far as grilling him some steak he purchased for game day, they truly love their residents. We are so happy to have dad safe and healthy!

Park Senior Villas is not only beautiful, but a wonderful place for your loved one to call home. It starts with Janice the best marketing/Sales director that they have had, she is loving and actually takes the time to listen to what your loved ones needs are to make sure their community is the best fit. Our elderly population is so important to our community and Janice will show you just how important they are to Park Senior Villas on each and every tour she completes! Jen the executive director is amazing. Jen takes her job to the next level and is not just an amazing boss to her staff, but so involved with her residents all the way to fighting for your loved ones to be treated with the respect that they deserve. I found it so amazing that she is so knowledgeable about every single resident in her community as if they were her own family! I cannot say enough great things about these wonderful people.

Jen and Janice were a pleasure to work with and made the process of doing all the paperwork and getting Jay moved in very easy and painless. My experience at Park Senior Villas has been exceptional. Managing a very tough transition for a friend who needed increasing care was exhausting—especially from afar—and during a pandemic. Without the support of the excellent staff at all levels, I can't imagine how this transition could have been accomplished. Most importantly they really do care about each and every resident and work very hard to find that "special something" that helps the resident feel at home.

Our family had not had any past experience in finding a place for a loved one - one who could no longer live alone, one that lives hundreds of miles from us, one whose desire is to remain in Tuscon. When we were given the name of Park Senior Villas on La Canada, we expected it to be the first facility in a long search for “just the right place.” We we’re extremely impressed at first look. Then we met Janice, Jenn and staff who would care for our mom. The choice was made - first place we looked at was the obvious perfect choice. Janice took every care and concern we had and walked us through the process with kindness and attention. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. The staff truly care for their residents. We couldn’t be more confident that the care our mom is receiving is just what she needs and she is content. We are happy to share our experience with others!

I can't say enough about Park Senior Villa, the management and the staff. I was in very urgent stressful situation finding placement for my husband to memory care. I was referred to multiple places and this place was the top of all, starting from the tour until my husband transferred from the hospital. The management was wonderful, compassionate, working with us exploring all options for my husband's needs and interests. They went to assess him for more personalized planing, sat with me explaining everything in details easing and facilitating the process of transition. Considering my husband's difficult diagnosis and condition, after his move the staff is doing every effort to work with him to make his transition easier and successful, working one on one through his difficulties with gentleness, involving him in the activity program. Even they got tennis table knowing that it is the activity he is interested in! This place feels like home with its setting, the yard, and nature surrounding to chose for the love of my life to live in after being together for 38 years. Thank you Park Senior Villas team for all what you do.

Moved my mom into the La Canada facility a month ago, such a difficult decision. But made easier because of Janice, Jenn C, Bishop, Donna, Adelina, Amanda and the maintenace staff. KUDOS to Erica who came on staff to lead the La Canada location just months before being hit with the challenge of Covid19! They have done exceptionally well at keeping the residents, first and foremost, safe and occupied during this time! The staff at Park Senior Villas are top notch! My husband had been kicked out of another memory care facility and I was at my wits end to find a place where he could be cared for lovingly. Staff at The Villas were used to dealing with patients who could get agitated easily. They never batted an eyelash at his behavior and told me that they would care for him and find him a place in one of their 14 villas. When he was placed, the staff were kind and caring. I couldnt have asked for a better place for him. His last days were peaceful and filled with love by not only family but even more so by staff. I wish I had found The Villas in the first place.
