I am now in the Oak Manor Senior Living Community and I could not be more pleased. The staff it GREAT! They are willing to go above and beyond my wildest hopes; even if it is not their dept. The head of security fixed it for me. Most important the staff always smiles. I have never lived in a more comfortable place in my life. OH Yes and the food is GREAT!!!

I was very pleased with the care my Mother received. Her room was cleaned and the nurses and aids were wonderful. My Mother even played Bingo, also the rehabilitation center was excellent. After my Mother's hip replacement they helped her to get her balance and walking strong. Thank you!!

We have a family member in your ALF, he is very happy and has made many friends. The staff is very kind and attentive to his needs. We recently attended Oak Manors friends and family dinner which was lovely. All the staff there could not have been nicer and the food was delicious. We also met the owner Brad, that went to each table with kind words to all. If you are considering an ALF for a loved one consider Oak Manor. Lovely caring people, well maintained grounds and living space as well. Thank you everyone for your hard work and dedication.

I work here on weekends and love my job!!

My parents moved into Oak Manor in April of this year. So far everything that we were told when we were visiting the facility has been validated. The staff is friendly, responsive and caring. This applies to the Director, sales staff and all the way down to the maintenance folks and people that staff the cafeteria. They do truly care about the residents and my parents are doing very well there. Kudos to Oak Manor Senior Living.

Staff seems very friendly & quite competent. The grounds appear cut and well taken care of. My 94 yr old Mother loves living here independently.

I was extremely surprised at this place. I'm getting up in my ears. I'll live there when I get old enough
July 2024
I'm currently in rehab after getting sick and needing i.v. antibiotics and physical therapy…let me just say….the nurses, the c.n.a.'s and the physical therapy team…all is amazing I can't say enough about this facility…got me strong enough to go home. Love you all

I moved in 2 yrs ago! I would like to point out that when I moved in, they were under different management and the situation was not good. I was lied to, just to get me moved in and promised things that were impossible to perform. Needless to say, I was ready to move back out. However, the head maintenance man G, told me to stick it out, and that new management was coming. He was correct! The new management cares about their people. Miss D and her staff are wonderful, G, Jonathan, and Colby are great maintenance men who take care of everything on the spot. These people have become like family. I would recommend anyone to move in as they are turning things around and making them way better!

We came to know Oak Manor when mom was a resident of the nursing home. She was there about two years where she was cared for with love from the staff. Since mom's passing Dad has decided he wanted to move the Independent living side of the property. He still goes up and visits the residents in the nursing side weekly he has adopted the residents and staff as his second family. I tried to get him to look at properties in Tampa (closer to me) but he wouldn't have it. Dad is a very independent 87 year old so this situation works out perfectly. If and when he needs the assisted living, he doesn't have to change where he lives, they will come to him and if nursing care is needed it is just across the parking lot. We started the process five months ago and finally signed all the paperwork. We worked with Ashely and I cannot say enough about the care and dedication she provided for all of us. She stayed in constant communication with me. Ashely went above and beyond for us, she is a great reflection of the company. The unit is spacious and will give dad the peace and comfort of home, being surrounded by friends, while getting the nutrition and "looking after" he will need (I will need). At 87 it is hard for him to get around but with the pick up service they provide he is in great hands. The property is an older property but that gives it charm. I feel that we had a sneak peek into the inner working of the property and the staff while mom was there. As dad says, I want to live what years I have left at Oak Manor with my friends.

I had a great experience at there rehab after having total knee surgery. The staff are wonderful, friendly, their physical therapy is great with the best PT therapists. My friend Lisa just had her knee surgery and she will be going there tomorrow. You're treated very well and I had my surgery October 2022 just 10 months ago. I'm doing very well now. The therapy helped me tremendously !!!

A great place for mom! Ashley was incredible at helping me get my elderly mother all set up at Oak Manor. My mother transferred from the rehab side of Oak Manor to Assisted Living. There was SO much paper work that needed to be done and Ashley was a life saver through all of it. All of the staff was so helpful and kind. I like that there a many levels of care based on my mothers needs. I love that this is an Age-In-Place community. My mother really is thriving now that she is a resident at Oak Manor. Everyone is so friendly. When I go to visit my mom I will sometimes find her outside with her new friends. This has been the best decision I've made for my mother!
July 2023
My mom was kicked out of Elance' at Pasedena formerly The Fountains because she and 45 residents were on Medicaid. Ashley and her team have made the transition so smooth and have gone above and beyond with helping us!

I searched for 1yr the Assisted living facilities in Pinellas & Hillsborough counties. Out of all of them, (reviewed 20, saw 6) This was the only one I left not crying. Even the more expensive places! There is something homey & safe about this place. Its an older place but they keep it up! Lends to its charm. It's set up like a neighborhood. But the most impressive thing is the Staff! Ashley in Sales was amazing and so helpful. Robert in security has been amazing. Everyone there feels like a family and my Mom has felt that too. Considering the circumstances with this change in my Mom's life after living alone 20 yrs., we have made the right decision. Thank you Ashley for making this transition smooth & easy.

Transitioning my MIL to an ALF seemed very daunting. I picked Oak Manor, at first, because of the beautiful campus and the value for the money. I am so glad I did. Their staff has been above exceptional. Every staff member that I've met has been helpful, sweet, and caring. However, I need to extend an extra thank you to Ashley, who has truly understood all the needs of my MIL (and me). I know that she is in great hands at Oak Manor.

I was really impressed with Oak Manor Senior Living Community. It isn't overly fancy, but it feels like home. Most of us grew up in a place like this; simple, clean, cozy. There are big oak trees and screened porches. The grounds are well kept. The community calendar is full of events, and they aim to help seniors stay active in the community... they even drive seniors to three different churches on Sundays and go to Largo Rec Center on Mondays. Of course, they have outings and grocery store visits and all the other things that are standard in communities where people are no longer driving Oak Manor has a small town feel where people know your name and your interests. They are close to a hospital, doctors, offices, and common stores for shopping. They are in a no evacuation zone, which brings a sense of peace during storm season. There is a small dog park in the community and they seem to help residents carry-on with living their best lives. When you go to tour the community, you will meet Ashley Pfaff. I felt like she really cares about the residents and their well-being. She is easy to talk to, answers all your questions and is available by cellphone when you have additional questions. I would absolutely love to move my Mom to Oak Manor, but she is hell-bent on living in another city. Nevertheless, I felt like my neighbors should know about this little gem, and consider the community for their loved ones when the time is right.
April 2023
Staff is attentive and helpful. The move in process was easy and they provided a welcome package that explained all the procedures. Maintenance is very attentive and addressed the two issues we had promptly. Very nice facility and the food is pretty good.
December 2022
This place has great people working here. My father lives here and lost money and I was so worried about the trust here. Then they called me and told me they will replace its for him and it made me feel so good about having my dad with them. He is in good hands. Thank you mickey and all the hard works there! Thank you

I scheduled a tour for my mom with Ashley, and she was right on time and greeted me promptly. She took me on an extremely thorough tour of the housing units and facilities and patiently answered all of my questions. The units are well appointed and quite spacious, and the grounds are very nice. The entire development is immaculately well kept. Although the community is a little older, everything is maintained very well and it has an intimate feel to it, which is great. All of the staff I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. After the tour, Ashley was very tuned in to listening to my needs for my mom, and there was zero pressure which I appreciated so much and didn't experience at other communities I toured. Ashley was cooperative and it was clear that she really wanted to ensure that Oak Manors would be the best fit for my mom. I felt so comfortable with everyone during my tour, that I know this would be a great place for me mom when the time comes for her to move into independent living. From my experience with Ashley and the rest of the staff, I know my mom would be in great hands and perfectly happy living at Oak Manors, and that peace of mind is hard to find! I highly recommend touring the community with Ashley if you are looking for a warm and comforting community for independent living for yourself or a loved one.

This is the best place I could have imagined to place my brother with his special needs. He has been there for years and it’s so great. The staff are friendly and they know my brother and his quirks. Holley in the office has helped me manage his things so they he can remain a happy resident. They’re great to me too. Holley is amazing. Thanks you Oak Manor.

Our aunt has lived in Independent living, then to Assisted living, and now Nursing. Throughout the years, she has never had a complaint. That speaks volumes!

March 2020
I cannot visit my mother because of the quarantine and when I asked to speak with her on the phone (every day for the entire month) they told me she is non-verbal but will not give me details about when she became unable to speak or what I can do to communicate with her. If they truly care about those they care for, this would not be my experience. How alone and frightened my Mother must be. Please dont let this happen to members of your family. Move them while you can!

I am a current employee at Oak Manor Senior Living, and with all truthfulness, I can honestly say this is the best place I have ever been employed at! My mom and dad Cal and June Green have been there for two years until my dads passing in December of 2018. The staff has been nothing but respectful and very caring with my mom. We were very lucky to find Oak Manor.

I am Rose Brandt I havent seen my original post so I am writing one again. My Mother was at Oak Manor 19 years. Kudos to her aides. Especially Raquel. Raquel went above and beyond all the time. The other aides where amazing as well. They treated my Mom like family. She told me some of them where family and I agreed. I was invited to partner with Oak Manor to care for my Mom. I wish everyone who has someone in a facility could be a caregiver first. It is the hardest job there is I know I was a Certified Nursing Assistant. My Mom started in Haven Hall the memory unit after a stroke she went to Central wing the all care unit. She never had a bed soar even though she was bed ridden for 14 of those 19 years. She ate 100% most of the time of puree food for 5 years. At first she got up and was active bingo, karaoke, to music performers who came in, church services. Toward the end she only wanted to stay in bed and with great effort Raquel and others managed to get her up, and get her hair done. From finance person Holly, to the Care Plan staf, or the greeter at the door I can not say enough good things about Oak Manor. I will always recommend it to all my friends and family. Thank you Lisa Panish Nurse practitioner. All the amazing LPNs who did meds and so much more, the amazing aides who fed her, changed her, washed her, I am so grateful. Toward the end Mom could do very little for herself, you did it all! Sincerely yours, Rose Brandt and the Melvin Family.

My mother in law has been a resident at Oak Manor for four years....she has found her home away from home...staff wonderful...one in particular I would like to thank...her nurse Valerie..she is just wonderful with all her patients...and goes above and beyond....
February 2018
My grandmother has been in there since 2008, and she loves it. They treat her so well, and have been there for her when its been hard for me to be! You hear horror stories of nursing homes and bedsores, and patients dying due to improper care. This would never happen at Oak Manor. They are awesome people, and I am glad she found a place to call home once she was unable to walk. The staff is amazing, and I cannot thank them enough.
July 2017
Currently an employee here and i will say my boss is one of the best ive had in a long time. The residents are an awesome part of this job as well. I love going in every day and seeing the residents i clean for. They make my whole day. However unhappy with a few things but the good outweighs the bad!

My mother moved to Oak Manor in August, 2015. She absolutely loves living here. She is 3 miles from my house, which is so convenient. The lovely grounds and friendly atmosphere make Oak Manor a welcoming place to live happily. When my mom is happy, Im happy!

Im an employee at oak manor. Im Glad to be part of this team
December 2016
A few years ago, my mother was very apprehensive about leaving her home and downsizing. She was given a tour of Oak Manor and felt immediately welcomed by the friendly staff and residents. She made friends easily and is more active, more mentally sharp, more happy than I have seen her in many years. Oak Manor has changed her life for the better. Helpful staff and great food in a beautiful park like environment has been very therapeutic for her. I highly recommend it for independent or assisted living, the ability to have at home or inpatient rehabilitation and therapies near your home is also comforting. As a residents needs increase, there is also long term care where residents will already know the staff and surroundings. As a nurse, I know the importance of a patient feeling comfortable and well cared for with a continuity of care. I love Oak Manor and more importantly; so does Mom.
November 2016
This move into Oak Manor has been the best decision I have made. I am very happy here. I do have to admit I miss my condo once in a while but reaching the age of 90, I couldnt be happier

Great atmosphere and caring staff. I had a few of my personal clients transition from home to Oak Manor. Although I miss them, I am glad they found a new place to call home and have been impressed with their care. Keep up the good work.

Since leaving Oak Manor to move home to Canada after working there for nine years I miss it very much. The residents enrich your life in ways you would never expect. They make you laugh they make you cry but they make you feel grateful and honoured to help them with their daily needs. When you have an opportunity to help people it makes your life worthwhile. When they give you that big hug, awesome smile or just tell you they love you means more than a paycheck. Now for the management, it is a great place to work. In the assisted living part where I worked there is a great DON Amina Krijestar who goes above and beyond for her residents and employees. Also a Administrator Nick Russell who cares about making changes to benefit the residents and employees. He also will take a pie in the face or sit in the dunk tank so the residents and employees can take turns dunking him. Lol Human resource department is so helpful Shanna and Tess, their door is always open to help you. Thanks to Edwin and Debbie and dietary staff they go out of their way to supply awesome meals and parties for the facility. All in all its a GREAT place to live or work. I guess I got carried away but thats what I think of Oak Manor Senior Living Community. Miss You Guys.
