It is a beautiful place and the staff is really wonderful. They take great care of their residents and they are a great asset to our community. The villas across the street from the main location are also great for those looking for true independence in a community setting.

We were so stoked to get my mom into Bayshore, it's such a beautiful welcoming place, and we can't say enough about the staff. In addition to the staff, the facility is amazing; It's like being in a resort.! From the housekeeping staff to the dining room staff, to the healthcare staff to the management, everything was top shelf. Residents were also very welcoming to my mother. When my mom first arrived, management had a big chalkboard in the lobby with a balloon that said, "Welcome Home Barbara"; I about cried Sadly, as soon as she moved in, she took a downward turn healthwise and was not able to go back but again as a almost 50 year resident and 30 yr Realtor, highly recommend Bayshore

Love this place. Everyone is friendly. Mom is happy there. She gets lots of attention from nursing staff and restaurant staff. Mom particularly enjoys the Wed and Fri live music in the Bayshore Club. I highly recommend the Bayshore for your loved one!

It has been almost a year since my family member moved to The Bayshore. From the start of the tour to today there still is nothing that hasnt been exactly what he needed. The daily walks around the beautiful community, down to the dock, watching dolphins and breath- taking scenery. Reading his book looking at the Intercoastal. His dining experience daily of delicious meals and great desserts. Enjoys singing with his friends & wonderful diverse enterainment. Just having his independence to do what he wants to do yet the vast array of activities to choose from if he wants to. The staff are always polite, professional & friendly but one of the most important reasons why we chose The Bayshore was the sparkling clean community inside and out. It is the perfect place to choose to live!

My mom just moved to The Bayshore and it has been a wonderful experience from the first inquiry (in February) until today. The staff really cares and I cannot say enough great things about Patti, Melissa, the Concierge staff, and everyone that keeps this great facility running. The smiling faces that I see when I walk in to visit are a true testament that life can be great for our loved ones. If you are looking for a home for your mom or dad, check out the Bayshore.

This is an excellent solution for people who want to continue living the Hilton Head Island life after they no longer own a home. The facility is sparkling clean, decor is innovative and new, and the staff is friendly and supportive. Most important, it provides as much community as you want, along with activities. amenities, and food offerings to meet all tastes and diets.

We started researching independent living for our parents a few years ago. We chose The Bayshore over the rest because it truly is an independent living facility at its best. Pauline has been with us every step of the way. Her understanding the process of my parents transition has been extremely helpful to us. We have listed my parents home and know they will be happy at The Bayshore. It's common areas are well thought out. Their activities and transportation schedules are well organized. The apartments are fully equipped with complete kitchen and includes a washer and dryer in each unit. We are confident my parents will thrive at The Bayshore!

From my first meeting with Melissa Hallbeck, Director of Sales, who brings this place to life with her contagious smile and her excitement for this place I knew I needed to pursue living here! I've lived here now almost 8 months and I'm thrilled that this is my new home! From day one I've felt a joy to be here, meeting new friends, enjoying all the perks that this place offers!! What can be better?? Gorgeous view of the inter coastal, delicious meals, activities for everyone and every level! Have not had one day that I've regretted making this my new home!!

The Bayshore is a beautiful place! I think this will be a great fit for my mom. Melissa was a great tour guide and she was very knowledgeable. The only reason I gave a 4 vs 5 rating is that there is a wait to move my mom in. Hoping a unit becomes available soon!

Bayshore is , absolutely, beautiful!!! From the front entrance of the building, and through the front doors, you will be very impressed. You feel like you are entering a very expensive hotel with amazing amenities. The building, the grounds, dining area, all very clean and upscale. The views from the verandas make you want to stay and never leave. The staff, actually, smile and seem to like their jobs, which is rare these days. Everyone is friendly and the residents seem extremely happy and well taken care of. If you are looking for independent living, this is your place. You won't be disappointed. I was only allowed a choice of 5 stars, but this place is, definitely, a 10!!!

Absolutely beautiful apartments, spectacular views, and a friendly & compassionate staff. My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Rodney. He was so informative and accommodating. We had no appointment, and he showed us around immediately. We are looking for assisted living for my in-laws and we were completely impressed, everything from the movie cinema, the pool, the views, bar and game room, the gorgeous apartments to the dinning menu! The Bayshore is beautiful!

I worked at Bayshore for 4 years and it was, hands down, one of the best and well run facilities I have worked in. The staff truly cares about the residents who live there and go above and beyond to ensure the safety, comfort, and hospitality provided.

I have been an independent living resident of Bay Shores for the last 5 months. About two weeks after I arrived I was already calling it Home. The day I arrived was amazing, the Bay Shore staff did everything they could possibly do to help me move in. At the end of the day my apartment was organized and ready to live in. I have never looked back with any regret. The residents here are very friendly and certainly welcome newcomers with open arms. My next task was to find out what would fill each day and thats when I was told to go to the concierge desk and pick up flyers that list tomorrows activities. I could hardly believe all the options I had to choose from, games, entertainment. trivia groups, bingo, boat rides, etc. Of course Covid-19 was here when I arrived so things are different than normal, however since the property is large and we are free to go anywhere indoors or outdoors (with masks on) our lives are not bad at all. I would recommend Bay Shores to any senior that is having second thoughts about living alone, independent or assisted. Come visit here and Im sure you will be pleasantly surprised. Erma Shewchuck

My experience with the nursing team has been great, and really appreciate all that they do for me. I would like to say thank you to the culinary department as well that have worked so hard delivering my meals to the apartment as well. My daughter and myself thank you all so much, and the view from my balcony is pretty great too.

One of our church friends moved into this community this past spring, and she loves being able to do yoga on the dock in the morning, and not have to worry about going to the grocery store. She is always talking about how nice her neighbors are, and how nice it always smells inside. When we are ready for this kind of retirement, this will be our first stop. keep up the good work!

My father moved in a few weeks ago to The Bayshore and was welcomed with open arms by the wonderfully kind and humble staff. We had a rocky road prior to him moving in and his health was declining. He was just giving up. Since moving in, the nursing staff has taken care of him with graciousness and kindness, treating him with respect. His nurse, Sequoia, is the most genuinely caring person and is an amazing nurse. He is doing very well. Its so nice to see him smiling again and looking forward to the activities of the day. He is taking art classes and enjoying the live music twice a week. Since this is also an independent living facility, there are interesting residents from all over the world with many stories to tell about their fascinating lives. My father has made a lot of friends and looks forward to dining with them. I was the one, out there reading these posts just a short while ago, so I will touch on the aesthetics as well. The Bayshore looks like a 5 star resort. It is immaculately clean and always smells beautiful. The restaurant is lovely and the food is excellent. True story, my dad likes this brioche bread from Publix, he brings it with him to breakfast and the chef makes him french toast with it. They will go out of their way to accommodate him in any way. They have a beautiful bar on the 5th floor that overlooks the water, my dad and I go up there and play backgammon several times a week. I cant say enough wonderful things about The Bayshore.

This is an incredibly difficult time for the entire country, but Bayshore has done a wonderful job at welcoming my mom. The place is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. My mom is loving the new friends shes made even though they are in quarantine within the complex! Theyve found creative and save ways for all the tenants to stay active and engaged in activities. Looking forward to when we finally can go to her apartment and visit!

We are so happy we found the Bayshore on HH. It is so nice to retire to a luxury facility that has everything that you would want when you no longer want the responsibilities of owning a home. We fell so comfortable here with all our keepsakes that we acquired over the years. The staff here is so accommodating & the food is outstanding.

My mom has been at the Bayshore for almost 3 years. Her experience there has been amazing. The staff are wonderful and in the present situation of a health crisis in our world, the Bayshore has kept my mom safe and happy. A shout out to Theresa, who regularly keeps us in touch on Zoom, the kitchen staff who are professional and always smiling, and to the nurses who work diligently to make sure everyone has what they need. The director, Rodney and the administration are also there to help when needed. The facility is beautiful and sparkling clean. Thank you!

This building is so beautiful! The inside looks like a resort with just a short walk to the private dock overlooking the water. Its so peaceful to sit out there and watch the water and wildlife! The staff are friendly and efficient, and I highly recommend this building!
