UPDATE: For 8 months my parents have lived in assisted living and have been so very happy. My father recently passed away to short illness. The entire staff showed such compassion to not only my mother but to our whole family. They even took care of her dog while we were at my fathers bedside. They continue to help my mom through this difficult time, with such love and understanding. Such a wonderful staff throughout the Assisted Living at Sacred Heart! After much research it was decided to move my parents 250 miles here to Sacred Heart. One is in rehab and other is in assisted living, staff has been so compassionate and accommodating with every step of the way. Within a week and the outstanding care my mother is receiving she has made major improvements, even family can tell over the phone. My only regret was not bringing them sooner.

I went today to visit my sister in law..all the staff and workers were so caring and concerned about my loved one..louise custer. They served her ..her dinner...and it looked so gross...she didn't eat it. I don't think a dog would eat it.please..please do better guys. The food sucks

Mother in law is the F unit and it is a real hassle to get in on weekends. Through the week not so bad but still a hassle, but staff are great!

The nursing staff genuinely cared for my mom. While communication is not strength of this facility, their compassion and excellent daily care earned them this rating. When I evaluated other nursing homes for another family member, I discovered a lot of places would have considered my mother bed-ridden and would have left her alone in her room. Sacred Heart gets everyone up, neatly cared for, brings them into a common area and interacts with them all day long. Their memory care unit is simply the best. She received loving assistance with her meals and the staff knew her and what she enjoyed. She never had a skin breakdown even long after she was no longer ambulatory, which is a testimony to their good care. When she needed the support, they got her a Broda chair which meant greater comfort and mobility for her.

The staff was short handed due to the holiday, but the available staff worked hard to make up for it. I appreciate the sacrifice they made during this holiday season.

Each time we visit my Dad at Sacred Heart Village, the Nursing Staff makes us feel welcomed and is busy attending to the needs of the residents. My Dad doesn't have to worry about preparing his meals, dealing with laundry, or figuring out which meds to take each day. The Nursing Staff helps with those things and so much more. Thanks to the Nursing Staff for all that you do to make each day less stressful for my Dad and the other residents that you care for!

Quick stop to visit grandma! Dead flowers in her room, stained wall tiles still in her room, note to change sheets from last weekend still there, nurse/staff in office chatting. Tom said Hi and a nice lady was sweeping the front outdoor sitting area.

I didn't realize how ABSOLUTELY disappointing my mother's experience with a different nursing home in Noble County was until she started rehab at Sacred Heart. Selena, the social worker, has been BEYOND helpful through these difficult circumstances. She is readily available to speak with, she is clearly passionate about the work she does, and has gone out of her way to help bring peace of mind. I couldn't say anything close to this following our last nursing home experience. Good social workers are a Godsend, and Selena has been nothing short. I couldn't thank her or recommend her enough.

We have always felt confident that our mother was in good hands at Sacred Heart. The staff are professional and pleasant to speak with. They take their time answering any of our questions, making certain that we understand the various options for each situation. Mom has been here on two separate occasions for physical therapy and both times we have been confident that she is getting the guidance and assistance that she needs.

Very pleased with the quality of care my wife is receiving. Somewhat saddened at how much political opinion rather than medical discussion is guiding COVID restrictions. I do not understand how medical administrators are allowed to mandate medical procedures for everyone without checking with an individual’s personal physician to verify that that procedure is appropriate for that individual.

My mom has been a resident for 3+ years including 2+ years in the memory care. She is well cared for, on my visits I see caring, compassion ,well trained staff that do a very good job balancing all that they do. When I have any care and concerns about my mom, there is always someone to answer my questions.
