My parents have lived here for 2 and a half years. The food is very average for lunch and dinner and breakfast is Below that! The majority of the staff is friendly but I have encountered a manager and a few others that are clearly not qualified for there position! I think the facility is poorly managed. I would not recommend this facility at this time.

Where are the current 3 month reviews? There were complaints about the food that was posted 4 months plus ago. I believe that the same problems exist as they are unwilling to employ a qualified Chef. Who is the Executive Chef now? Who do we go to for complaints and solutions about poor quality of food?

It is very large. They have independent living on one side and assisted living several floors on the other side. Not many staffembers staffed there. One medication nurse on the assisted living side said she was to busy to answer a couple of questions but the caregiver was very nice helping my friend. It was a very long walk to my friends apt. I wish the front office attendant had told me I could park on the side of the building instead of walking over 10,000 steps from the front. The furniture was new near the dining area near my friends apt was hard as a rock. Really uncomfortable. Did the buyer pick them out of a magazine. Even me with my own padding was uncomfortable. Obviously, they weren't paying attention to comfort. Those people pay a lot to stay there. Very tacky. It was kept up nicely except for their cruddy wing chairs which got a F- for comfort. I'm not sure I would recommend or not.

Mom lived here for 10 years, both independent and assisted living. The quality of life here was wonderful. Caring compassionate staff, beautiful surroundings and apartments. Lots to do . Food is good too.!!

We are pleased to report significant improvements in food quality, as well as a noticeable increase in staff attentiveness. Moreover, the implementation of leadership changes are currently underway, with the expectation that this will result in an overall enhancement of the community. I remain committed to keeping you informed of the progress and will regularly share updates. Original Post If you are seeking a community for your loved one that prioritizes high margins over providing the quality experience our elders deserve, then this is the perfect place for you. My grandmother has been residing here since 2017, and unfortunately, we have encountered numerous issues that have greatly affected her quality of life. One of the major concerns is the lack of effective leadership. We have witnessed a constant turnover of general managers, which has resulted in inconsistent management and a lack of accountability. This has had a direct impact on the overall functioning of the community. Additionally, the culinary department has been a major disappointment. We have gone through six chefs in a short span of time, leading to inconsistent and subpar meals. Despite my grandmother's simple request for a healthy, warm, delicious, and visually appealing meal, this basic expectation has not been met. The quality of the food falls far below what should be provided in a retirement community. Furthermore, the high turnover rate among staff members is concerning. The community heavily relies on outsourced contractors and underpaid staff, which has created a revolving door of employees. This constant turnover negatively affects the level of care and attention provided to the residents. Most distressing of all is the state of the living conditions. We have experienced mold growth coming out of the HVAC vents, which is not only unsightly but also poses a serious health risk, especially for elderly individuals. It is disheartening to see the neglect in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the residents. In summary, my experience with this retirement community has been extremely disappointing. The lack of effective leadership, poor quality of food, and unsatisfactory living conditions have made it clear that the well-being and satisfaction of the residents are not prioritized. I hope that management takes immediate action to address these issues and improve the overall experience for the residents. NOTE: I've made multiple attempts to address these concerns directly with Corporate HQ and Leadership - hoping this public review will result in some immediate action for our loved ones.

Ms Ellen gave a tour to myself and my aunt, who were previewing for my Grandparents as it is the time for them to move to independent/assisted living. I was so impressed with the facility, Ellen's relationship with the residents, and the overall positivity and cheerful environment there. I think this is a place where older folks could really come together, find their "place" and thrive.

As President of the Parc Residents Association and a 5 year resident, I can report that this property is superior to most others out there in Cobb County.t is 18+ years old and management is struggling with the challenge of updating the facility to compete with newer properties coming on line rapidlyThe activities programs is superior, maintenance and housekeeping is adequate usually. The dining and kitchen experience is improving under the direction of a new General Manager & Dining Manager. The Chef is young and a work in progress.Residents desire to enforce an upscale dining room ambiance via an enforceable dress code is going unanswered. A major shortcoming.Their are a number of desired upgrades going unanswered including a usable WiFi network, adequate sound system in rotunda, grungy carpet in stairwells, updated menu for dinner, etc.The extra activity schedule and entertainment is usually superior.In conclusion, while there are opportunities for improvement, management is trying their best. This is a very worthwhile and good decision for you or your family. Check it out.

My Mother has been living in a nice 1 bedroom apartment at Parc at Piedmont for about a year and a half. She is very happy there and has made many friends. Im extremely happy because she now lives closer to me and I know she is safe. I especially like that she is living around her peer group since she no longer drives. I was worried about her being isolated when she was still living alone in her big home,but at the Parc she is quite active , going down to dinner and attending planned activities .

The grounds are well maintained, the amenities are plenty, the food is wonderful, there are numerous events planned and followed through with spectacular precision and flare. The biggest downside I would say about this establishment would be the staff. There are quite a few friendly and helpful faces but is easily outweighed by the few negative influences. Theres also a few inconsistencies with the sanitation of the dining services utensils and plates.

Pleasant, relaxing environment, more like a high end hotel. The dining room is exceptionally nice, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the chef does excellent preparations of the many, varied menu items.Im glad we were able to find a place for my mother here.
