My father came to Brookdale for rehab after a heart procedure. We had been given a list of places to choose from and after reviewing them on line and in person Brookdale was the obvious choice. The facility is pristine. There are plenty of staff, all eager to help. My father was given immediate and thorough attention and was discharged sooner than we expected, fully ready to go home! We are SO SO grateful!

Today I revisited Brookdale Galleria for a second time tour. DANA TATE was a wonderful hostess and explained all I needed to know about life there. This is a fabulous senior community property and is located in a cool area. Today’s visit gave me another opportunity to see how the residents live, enjoy a Sunday brunch, and interact with staff and guests. Everyone was quite happy. It was also a treat to walk around the property and get a feeling of the positive vibes. The ambiance is welcoming and relaxing. I am retired and am definitely considering Brookdale as a future home.

My dad is very well taken care of. He is always clean and the staff is very polite and professional. They go out of their way to help my dad get in his wheelchair to join in the different events. His physical therapy is making him stronger and we are very grateful.

My friend Candice has only been there for a short time and I can feel the caring attitudes of the employees. Kevin was tremendous in getting her into the facility. He was very knowledgeable of the process which made it happen smoothly. Being a nurse for fifty years and a nurse manager, I can truly say the nursing staff is phenomenal. I do realize that being a nurse is difficult at times, but if you have a caring heart like I see at this facility. Her nurse today made it seem easy. The second floor is surprisingly outstanding. Cleanliness is important here. The protein portions at dinner are amazing supper tender. The nursing, the therapists and nurse assistants have been excellent; attentive and compassionate. Highly recommend Brookdale Galleria skilled nursing facility.

The facility is very nice, beautiful, and clean! I met with Tony and I believe Zorah and they were both very sweet and easy to talk to! I also spoke with an aid while I was waiting for my interview to start I did not get her name but she was very kind as well! The front desk staff are sweet and full of smiles also! The two gentlemen who worked the valet parking are supper polite!

A friend invited me to Sunday Brunch at Brookdale Galleria today. They had a variety of salads, entrees and vegetables. The food is fresh and very well cooked. The presentation is beautiful. The facility is lovely. The staff are friendly and obviously committed to the wellbeing of their residents and guests.

We had a medical emergency where my dad needed to be seen at MD Anderson but fractured his hip right before the flight out of state. I called around 15 skilled nursing facilities, only 3 returned my call and Kevin here was the only one to try to make anything work. He was amazing to coordinate a room and get things ready for a Saturday arrival. He really saved the day. I would highly recommend Brookdale.

So we have been a couple times now to visit a friend of ours who is there. He's in the rehab or skilled nursing area, not sure. Its on the ground floor. So FOR THIS AREA of Brookdale, (because I have zero idea what the other floors are like and I know personally that places will have a spot just for looks. Not to be negative but it is fact. ) One of the things I did like a lot was there was no stink in the wing our friend is staying, no urine or body odors from people not getting cared for in a relatively timely manner. So for that area, it says something, and I would hope that applies to all areas of Brookdale, but again I did not visit those floors. The rooms, although a bit spartan, seem to be kept clean, and he does have some space for personal belongings, there is a TV and phone. Have not seen the TV on, we presume it works. although our friend did fuss about the food, he is gaining weight and food we have seen looks to be decent, for hospital style food. They seem to be getting him a lot of the PT/OT he needs. Overall he seems to be doing well and getting basic care and hygeine which we are happy to see.

My brother-in-law and I needed to find the best place for my sister with dementia. Brookdale filled all of our requirements. The Sales Manager asked all of questions, spent a lot of time with us explaining everything, and guided us through the whole process, she was great. (5 stars for her) Everyone was wonderful, kind and considerate. All of the residents and their families are very happy there. Everything is clean and inviting. Attentive medical staff. Addressed our concerns for our mom. Allowed us to stay in room overnight with her and provided a comfy sleeping cot. Can’t complain at all about the food. Rehab personnel is caring and kind. A bit understaffed but it hasn’t affected moms care. Kimberly and Cruz are outstanding assets to this facility.

Both my in-laws spent time at Brookdale Galleria and while it's not always pleasant from a personal standpoint, we knew they were safe and cared for. All their friends from the old neighborhood lived there. Now that both are gone I need to thank everyone who helped take care of my Father in Law in the end. He was happy and well taken care of. You hear horror stories about facilities. We did not experience any of this. He had lots of love and attention. I understand he was a floor favorite! It was touching for US to be the ones consoling the staff the night it happened. That shows how much the care was true and honest…not just a job. For that we are grateful.
