What a great place for independent living. My father-in-law moved from a small home he rented into Silvercrest a year ago and he feels and is far more independent at Silvercrest than he was living alone. He made friends quickly. Love's not needing to cook for himself and has found an affinity group that loves to do crossword puzzles together. The staff knows all the residents and treats them with respect. Their community celebrations are festive and fun. I feel like he is safer their and I know he is happier. If there was a sixth star, I would give it!!

We have been blown away by Silvercrest at Deer Creek!! From our first encounter (visiting a resident), then touring several times, to now - how plugged-in my mom has become so quickly, is nothing short of God's blessing. To be honest, we were skeptical that the environment could be as good as described during our first few visits, but it is all that and more!! My mom has "put down some roots", made best friends (already) and is thriving in every way possible. There are sooooo many activities every single day! We joke that “Mimi is doing two-a-days”, because she literally does two fitness classes a day! She also really enjoys the church services, all of the great food (well beyond the fantastic meals - so much food), bingo, and all the other great things to do all day, every day!! She doesn’t even have to make her own coffee, because she likes to go out and get it in The Bistro. Every member of the staff we have encountered and engaged with, has carried out the same mission of kindness and service, and an attitude of "what can I do to make your life better" for each resident. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Silvercrest at Deer Creek has been a blessing for our family. Since my mom moved into Assisted Living a year and a half ago, I have slept better knowing my mom is in a place where she is safe, cared for, and treated with genuine compassion. The staff is outstanding - professional, warm, and always ready to help. I especially want to recognize Hannah, the move-in coordinator. She’s always smiling and happy, which instantly puts families at ease. But more importantly, she follows through with exactly what Silvercrest promises - kindness, comfort, and a welcoming experience that makes a difficult transition so much smoother. She's a gem! And Latoya, the director of nursing, is truly exceptional. She brings an amazing combination of heart and skill to her role. Her leadership sets the tone for the high standard of care throughout the facility. She takes the time to know the residents, listens to families, and makes sure everyone feels seen and supported. I can’t say enough about the confidence and comfort she gives us. I wholeheartedly recommend Silvercrest at Deer Creek to any family looking for peace of mind and truly exceptional care. Silver Crest Deer Creek is an active, vibrant community of wonderful seniors. Took an old friend back after her birthday lunch & bumped into a Church of Nativity friend who moved in 6 months ago. Then went looking for my Mom-in-law’s old & dear friend from when she’d lived out last decade of her life, found her! And the update is beautiful!

We have been working with Hannah Eldred at Silvercrest to move our parents from Senior living to assisted Living and Hannah has been a godsend. She is patient, organized, knowledgeable and most importantly very friendly. Our relationship feels more like working with family members than Senior Care providers. Our parents have been living there for a year and her guidance has been consistent the entire time.

The employees of Silvercrest are always very friendly. In my opinion, it would be nice to see some activity in the cafe and or the movie theater during the evenings around 6:30 or 7 PM. The remodel looks beautiful, but I rarely see it used, however, I am normally in the facility during the evening hours.

We moved my father in law here post widowed a couple months. The community of other adults has been just what he needs. The doctor and the therapists have been fantastic at meeting his needs in his apartment physically and emotionally. Love that this is new primary care community. Love to visit! I am so glad we chose Silvercrest at Deer Creek! The staff and resident community at Silvercrest are like a loving family. The staff cultivates an engaged community that is mutually supportive of one another, caring and alert to changing needs. Mom and Dad have been living at Silvercrest in a bright and airy independent living apartment for a little over a year, during which time Mom's condition has continued to decline and Dad has started to need help caring for her. I live on the east coast and can only visit every six weeks or so. The lovely nurse has called me to update me on Mom, the compassionate and cheerful front office folks have let me know how they are doing. The arts and activities director takes special attention with Mom even though she struggles with the smallest tasks. Whenever I visit, the Silvercrest team welcomes me back like I belong and they never hesitate to help if I have a request. I still worry about my parents, but I worry so much less because I trust the Silvercrest staff. The building is nice, but they are what makes that community really special.

My Mom moved into an Independent apartment in February 2022, and just recently into an Assisted Living apartment. Both apartments have been spacious, with lots of natural light and very nice. She has always loved the food, and the various choices offered. There is a culture of friendliness and caring among the staff. There is a slew of activities and her favorites over the years have been bi-weekly Bridge sessions, the Snow Ball, Christmas Lights Scenic Drive, Garage Sale, and Sunflower Scenic Drive. It was a comfort that when my Mom’s needs increased, we were able to move her to a higher level of care within Silvercrest, a place where she feels safe and comfortable.

My mama has lived at Silver Crest Deer Creek for two years now. It would be impossible to effectively share how amazing the experience has been…not only for my elderly mother, but for our family. The moment we stepped into Silver Crest, we knew it would be my mom’s new home. The word “home” should say it all. Silver Crest feels like home. My parents have been residents of Silvercrest at Deer Creek for over three years. They have a beautiful apartment with lots of windows and natural light; something that was so important to my mom as we made the decision to move them across the country. This is a great location in the heart of south Overland Park. The staff is friendly and personable and I feel that I, myself, have also made great friendships with many of the wonderful residents here as well. One of the things that has been very awesome to have here is that Lakeview Village Therapy (OT, ST and PT) is onsite, which is SO convenient! The therapists here at SC at DC have done an amazing job with both of my parents throughout their time here. They have all been wonderful advocates for their needs and care. Last, but certainly not least, we have been perhaps most happy with the addition of an amazing Clinical Care Director who joined the SC community this past summer. Jasmin has been such an incredible resource and a huge help for us!! She is very responsive, compassionate, informative and you can truly tell that she cares about the residents and also their families. We are so grateful to have her on our team! She is such a blessing to not only us, but so many of the residents here. We are grateful for her partnership with Dr Hathiary as well! They make a great duo as they care for the lucky residents who live here at Silvercrest at Deer Creek.

Every time I visit Silvercrest, the staff are always so welcoming and helpful. No matter what time of day it is, they usually have some kind of activity going on or you will see residents just chatting in the lobby. The overall feel of the community is warm and inviting.

If you are looking for a place for your loved one I couldn’t think of a better place than Silvercrest at Deer Creek. A couple years ago my wife delivered some groceries there and mentioned how much it felt warm and cozy. Just like home. In 2022 it was time to move my mom from her home and into independent living where she could get some home cooked meals and have some companionship. After touring several facilities we knew that Silvercrest was the perfect place. They make you feel like you’re part of a big family. Lots of activities, a salon, and current doing some renovations . They have PT & OT available in house through Lakeview Village which is top notch. Everyone there has been wonderful. Unfortunately, my mom has passed away and I miss going by each day. I miss seeing the smiling faces of the employees and visiting with the residents. It was the perfect place for my mom and our family! I appreciate everything everyone did there to make us feel at home and special. Todd

We were invited to host a Virtual Dementia Tour at their Wellness Fair. All of the staff that we encountered we so nice. Even residents were very accommodating. The facility is getting a total remodel it is going to be so nice when it is finished. I look forward to be working with this facility in the future.

My Mother has lived at Silvercrest Deer Creek for almost two years now. She seems very happy there and my brother and I are impressed with the facility operation. It’s a lovely facility with plenty to like- there are varied and fun daily activities scheduled in advance that are well attended, residents gather in the lobby just to chatter, issues with my Mother’s room are addressed promptly and correctly and opportunities exist for residents to be taken to sites around KC. The parent company, Dial Senior Living, is currently conducting a major facility renovation and the place looks great. The employees know the residents and seem to genuinely care about them.
