I am extremely pleased with this facility's accommodations for my stubborn, messy, and extremely (mentally and physically) frail uncle. The attentive staff effectively managed his complex medicinal regimen, attended to numerous health issues, regularly tidied his living space and bathroom, and fed him well. We've cycled him through various care facilities in the past, and this is the only place where he's been happy, as Parsons strikes the right balance between providing oversight and autonomy for him. The price is reasonable compared to comparable facilities.

I had a bit of business to perform at Parsons House for the first time and let me just say how pleasantly surprised at how approachable the staff were.

Update 3/13/24: Parsons House continues to be a great place for our family member. There is a real focus on community here. The current ED (Cameron) is even known to play pool with residents and is easy to work with. The business director Karina was welcoming, organized and helpful when we needed to discuss a question. Front office staff are caring, remember who you are and offer to help. Medication aides are knowledgeable and great at continuity of care. ---2022--- Update 5/24/22: Parsons House continues to be a great spot for our family member. Teffanie (special thanks to her for going above and beyond), Angelica, Kevin and Sarah have been great. I've always been called when there has been a concern and they have done well with communicating changes and Covid protocol. ---2021--- Met with the ED (Sarah), yesterday (she stayed late to accommodate my schedule and did the tour herself). Communication, care for the people and honesty drew us in. We look forward to being a part of the community. Will update as we go along. Thanks for a terrific start!

Parsons House is an amazing organization focused on their residents, with helpful and kind staff, excellent leadership and an array of services in support of the residents. From the first interaction to move in our family felt tremendous support and care. I wish there were 20 stars I could give this needed and valued organization.

Got my mom from the hospital and she was unable to navigate our house. Had a wonderful person that suggested I check-out Parsons House. Nothing like being in a panic and not knowing what to do next to help your parent out. But they know what to do. They stepped in and took it from there. They communicate with me constantly which helps a lot. I would recommend this to anyone qith assisted living needs.

I went to visit a church member. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I like the way your temperature is being taken as you sign in. No time lost in taking your temperature. Considering the circumstance, the visit was pleasant.

My dad has returned to Parson's after being hospitalized for a week and then rehab about 3 weeks! The level of care and attention @ Parson's is beyond compare. Domingo, Teffanie, Jacob, front desk receptionist( sorry. I forgot her name), Joanne Are always professional, caring, courteous! My dad's needs are attended to expeditiously!

I am in the process of finding a place to call home for my Mom. I received a highly recommended referral from her Therapists at the Accent Care Agency. I was impressed when we arrived for a Tour that my name was on a Welcome Sign! My interaction with Rhonda Price was genuine and sincere. She shared her personal experience as well her honesty about our journey to find the best fit for my Mom. I really appreciated her hugs and smiles. They will forever remain in my heart.

My father is a resident at Parsons, and overall I must say it's been an extremely good experience, for him and for us. It all comes down to the staff, who are uniformly friendly and caring and treat the residents as individuals rather than simply "wards."

I have been keeping my eye on Parsons House for a couple years as an option for my mother to age in place. I finally relocated my mom to this facility as she could no longer reside in independent living and could benefit from the assisted living services at Parsons while on hospice. We have only been there a couple days but first impressions have been amazing. It is obvious why the staff has little turnover. The caring and attention to the small details made me feel that I made the right choice. Rhonda, Sarah, and the rest of the team that I have met so far have all been compassionate and very caring for my families needs. I only wish I would have moved my mom here a little sooner.

My friend, for whom I have medical power of attorney, has been living at Parsons House for over a year and a half. I have spent time in other assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, and I have never seen such diligent and caring staff. Their communication with family and friends is also excellent. I could not recommend Parsons House more strongly.

Especially during this difficult time, the management and staff have gone above and beyond to bring comfort to the residents and their concerned family members. Parsons House Austin is a really special place. The residents there are really friendly and nice. They are really proud to be a part of the community. They always greet me when I come in the building and it makes be feel so very happy! The team there works really hard. They are always very friendly and so extra things to make the residents feel special. I have also had the opportunity to eat lunch there a few times and the food is really yummy! Especially the desserts. 🙂 I cannot wait to go back and visit once all this craziness is over. I am sure the team and the residents are doing great tho!

I highly recommend Parsons House Austin. My mom, Catherine Tompson, has lived there for several years. Their staff is wonderful, very friendly and caring. Everyone who interacts with my mom is kind and helpful. The office staff is great to work with, and the food and food service are excellent. The programming is outstanding. They have many outing and activities; so many things to do. The whole team at Parsons goes above and beyond in keeping the residents healthy and happy. Parsons House Austin is a warm and cheerful home!

I had the opportunity to have my husband stay here for five days while I attended our granddaughters graduation in New York.I cannot say enough about this wonderful place. The entire staff extremely caring and super friendly especially Jessica, Brittany and Teffeny. The reason I could leave my husband in their care was because they go above and beyond in their accommodation of his every wants and needs.I would highly recommend Parsons House to anyone and everyone who needs a safe and caring facility.

This is a great place to have a family member at. The staff is very tuned into each resident and treats them like a member of their own family. Assisted living staff is great. Only down side is the business staff has a give a ..... attitude, does not return calls, etc.

I have been part of Parsons House for over 25 years. Ever since it was Camlu, Ameripark and now Parsons House its been a great experience working in this wonderful place. I LOVE making all residents feel happy and I enjoy all that I do for them. I call Parsons my second home. Come live with us excellent environment.

Three years ago Parsons House was referred to me as an assisted living facility for my father. After visiting many assisted living facilities in Austin, I knew that the Parsons House was the right home for my dad. The staff are always friendly. My father is well taken care of.
