I have lived at Discovery Village at Dominion AL in San Antonio since August of 2019. I love everything about this place: my beautiful apartment, every employee, the protection and feeling of safety during these chaotic times. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an Assisted Living residence. I give it 5 stars!

We moved my Mom and Dad there in May. Excellent facility that we call her resort. My father passed in October, but fortunately my mother had already made many friendships there with other women who have lost husbands and could help with emotional support. We just extended her lease since she has found her home.Btw, I see a lot of 1-star reviews with no comments. I believe that are all bogus from competitors. This is definitely a great, modern place for seniors.

The management takes good care of us by caring about our needs. The apartments are beautifully designed. We have a great social life with lots of activities. We have a great executice director who does her job well and is very caring as she does so.

I have visited a few times. This is a wonderful Independent living facilities.They have all your aminities you need for retirement living. They have daily activities for all to join and is encouraged. I would consider my folks to live here in the future. They would have everything need here. Most apartments comes with full service kitchens, a huge plus for my mother who loves to cook.

It is a very relaxing place, where our needs are considered as priority. A lot of activities are provided by well trained personnel. Love and care are present all the time. Im experiencing a wonderful time in my Independent Living apartment. Im happy.

My parents, my husband and I met with sales counselor Kelly, and she was very gracious and answered all of our questions. The lunch was provided in the dining room, and it was very good. The food was nutritious and portions were ample. Afterwards, Kelly gave us a tour.The assisted living facility is tastefully decorated, with many amenities for the residents. We looked at a one bedroom apartment, which is a perfect size for two people, with a huge walk in shower in the bathroom.Based on the tour, Watercrest at the Dominion is on our familys short list of places for my parents should the need arise. They arent there yet, but its better to have a plan in place rather than waiting until you have to make a hasty decision.

Theres no place like home! My Mother is in assisted living and memory care at The Watercrest at the Dominion. I would live there in a minute! Luxurious and clean and everyone knows everyone and looks after each other. So happy my Mother has made a variety of connections with her neighbors and she has made new friends with residence, their families, and close relationships with the staff. I have never been happier for Mom.I have seen the staff show gentle care and personal attention to other patients. As for my unique Mother, the staff has always greeted my as I walk in the front door with knowledge of who I am there to visit and exactly where to find my Mother on the property. Impressed from day one, even before I signed in, they knew I was my Mothers daughter and she had been expecting me. They told me she was in the dining room with her son. Another visit I came during the associates distribution of medications and it was after 7pm on Sunday and Mom was in the movie theater enjoying a Netflix movie with my brother, eating popcorn! When she lived at home, she could barely walk and was a bit irritable and always went to bed by 6pm.I could go on and on. Bottom line, I LOVE THIS PLACE FOR MOM!
