I was always one of those individuals that said I would never put a family member in one of these facilities, until I found Montclare. The staff is amazing! My uncle is well kept for and I especially love the planned festivities that occur. In these times, its nice to know that they try their hardest to raise the residents spirits to the best of their abilities. This facility is simply amazing!

Montclare Supportive Living is a beautiful low income community. The staff is very professional I thought until my brother who was a resident there from June 2017 through April 2020. Due to health issues he was transported to the hospital and them to a rehab facility. He was unable to return within the 30 day re enrollment period. Therefore the Administration removed and destroyed all of his belongings without providing the 30 day notice which the State of Illinois requires. The medical staff was aware of where my brother had been transferred to because I called the Staff Nurse and the Director of Nursing MYSELF! My strong advice to anyone assisting a family member with selecting a facility for their loved one is to make sure there is a Power of Attorney on file with the facility. I was told by the Gardant Director for Montclare that they followed the rules in destroying my brother’s belongings because they didn’t have a Power of Attorney on file. As of today I am still waiting for the Administration to resolve this issue, my brother‘s belongings must and should be replaced! According to Montclare’s website it says they have storage areas for residence, it seems they could have packed and stored for the 30 days before destroying. Thank you very much.

I would like to first thanks Montclare supportive living community. The staff there are very friendly, professional, and reliable. They obviously care a great deal about their clients and the importance of the work they do with these seniors. It is very difficult to find safe communities for elderly people and Montclare provides people with peace of mind. The building itself is really lovely and kept well. Its clean and safe. Thank you again to the staff at Montclare for your hardwork.

I had an uncle that resided at the facility and has received very good treatment from the staff especially from Vicky Hughes Resident Service Coordinator. Shes very professional and really cares about her clients!!!!!

Montclare Assisted Living Facility has delivered 100%, especially during this pandemic. My Mom (w Dementia) has been a resident for over one year now and I cannot tell you how much peace and confidence I have gained in taking care of her! She has new friends now and the staff treats her with love and respect. The food sometimes she complains about, but she is very happy living there. I am a only child who has to work and if it wasnt for Montclare and the great job they are doing, I would truly have a real dilemma on my hands! I am so grateful for organizations like Montclare, the staff really try to do the best job they can. The Activity Director, Vickey really enjoys working with the Seniors and you can tell this by her excitement in her interactions with them. I have and would again recommended Montclare for your assisted living needs. Montclare is not perfect, but if you want a place that is dedicated to its residents, give Montclare Assisted Living an opportunity to work with your Love one. You wont regret it!I did and I havent regretted it at all! Thank you Montclare and Staff!!Lisa too!

Upon entering Monclare I could tell that the employees and residents take pride in their home, facility. It was beautifully decorated, furnished. The staff were welcoming. The residents were engaged in the activity (Beach Bingo) and I also witnessed some residents having a spirited conversation with some of the staff. The Activity Room had genre appropriate music playing in the background while some residents conversed about their Beach Bingo experience. The entire time I was there I felt like Montclare would be the perfect place for my elder family member. The icing on the cake was my personal conversation with a resident who says the Activity Director; Vicki, makes living there so much fun. There is always something fun and entertaining going on.
