The staff is excellent. Very attentive to resident needs and family needs. We are very fortunate and blessed to have both my parents there (and only two doors down from each other, too). Days are filled with various activities to keep residents involved and mentally active. Our favorite activity is always Bingo. Family members and friends are welcome to join and play. So much fun! Holiday parties are also fun. We also make sure to donate Bingo prizes frequently, as well. Meals are prepared in timely manner and are always available during normal hours. My family and I have also built a solid relationship with senior staff, too. I receive regular updates from them on my parents involvement in activities and events. Church services are also offered at the residence. Very loving, thoughtful, and tight community who welcomes residents with open arms. Beautiful property, very well-maintained.

Our loved one lived in Raphael's House for over a decade and she received excellent care. The employee turnover is very low, so we all got to know and trust the entire staff. The house is elegantly decorated; floors and or carpets are replaced frequently. There are many food choices and birthdays are celebrated with home made cakes by the wonderful chef. The activities are fun and varied. Holidays are celebrated with decorations and family events. But the most important aspect of this organization is that it feels like home.

When it became necessary for my mother-in-law to transition to assisted living, we were overwhelmed by the sheer number of facilities available in the area. Thankfully we had a family member familiar with the Victory Housing communities. During our interview process, we found that the facility, staff and management at Raphael House were exactly what we wanted for our loved one. The entire facility is always clean. The exterior patio and interior common areas are well appointed, comfortably furnished and welcoming. Family is always welcome and encouraged to visit. The crowning jewel to this facility is the staff that provide the love and care you want for your family member. The director, the support staff, the on-site chef that prepares three delicious and healthy meals each day, and even the bus driver that takes the residents for off ground activities and returns them safely, all have a positive, upbeat and caring attitude as they go about their tasks at hand. Every holiday is celebrated with great enthusiasm. The facility is decorated with appropriate flair, as are the residents and staff. From New Years Eve, to the 4th of July B-B-Q Picnic on the patio and the extravagant Christmas lunch/singalong/dance, families join together at each holiday to create joyful memories and put smiles on every one's faces especially the residents. As our family looks back on the eight wonderful years my mother-in-law has resided at Raphael House, we can honestly say without hesitation that bringing her here was the best family decision we have ever made. To everyone at Raphael House, THANK YOU for the loving care you bestow upon your residents. You are truly wonderful people. May God bless you all.

My mother has lived in Raphael House since February, 2020. She moved there from an independent senior living building one month before the pandemic shutdown. It had become clear to our family and her medical team that she needed full-time assistance to complete life's basic activities, including taking her medications as needed. Fortunately, there was an opening at Raphael House. The staff made my mother and me feel welcome at the introductory visit so the decision to move in was relaxed and comfortable for us. We have been extremely happy with every aspect of her care and treatment. The entire staff is proactive if something is needed and also reacts promptly to our inquiries. During the entire pandemic we have felt they made every effort to keep families in contact with their loved ones. They are absolutely first rate. My mother is very content and truly enjoys her beautiful new home with her Raphael House family members.

The business end of taking care of humans in their later years is a job that takes a tremendous amount of patience and compassion. Nelly and her amazing staff provided that for my mom and made my family feel like we were part of a partnership when it came to the special care our loved one needed. The residents are all well taken care of to the best of the staff's abilities, and I would highly recommended the Raphael House to anyone who is struggling with this extremely difficult decision.

I can't say enough about the terrific experience my dad had at Raphael House. The staff are so caring and really connect with the residents. They loved my dad and he loved them! From top to bottom, the staff work really hard to understand the needs of their residents. The house is lovely and has a beautiful exterior patio and gardens. It looks very much like the gardens of the house where I grew up. There are so many activities to keep residents entertained mentally and physically. And, the food is terrific! Their work to keep residents and staff safe during covid was top notch. I highly recommend Raphael House.

The COVID year was tough on everyone including the staff, the residents and the families. When my Mom moved to Raphael House, she found much more than a lovely place to live, and excellent care. She found a warm and loving family - of staff and residents - where, she is valued and respected. And I found a community who understands her needs and whom I look forward to seeing; Who fill me in on her day, who warmly greet me on the phone or at the door, ensure that Mom is actively involved in daily events, and know what makes her happy. I honestly did not know that assisted living could be like this and look forward to every visit.
